It’s important that NM’s entire life be reviewed. We have been bombarded with coverage w/o a peep about all this. My only question is, are there any records or writings that these “people” renounced this part of their lives? Now that would be great to know.
You didn’t drink the KoolAid, IMO. The PR people are very good at what they do. Same thing has happened to me and I suspect everyone else. Only KoolAid drinkers never question their POV !
When I sent a similar article to a lib acquaintance I was pretty much called a racist bigot homophobe who hated mom, apple pie and sweet, warm cuddly puppies.
The problem is 200+ years of safety and security. Freedom is taken for granted by so many. They believe communism is just a cocktail party discussion about philosophy. They do not understand and with the lack of a real education they do not know how to discern lies from fact. After all. No one would lie to them in school. And everyone has a side and should be respectfully listened to. Besides. It can’t happen here! We’ve been told that ever since it started happening here.

While I do not consider myself a Mandela scholar, (nor ANY type of scholar) I remember reading about his, and Winnie’s atrocity-riddled time in South Africa, his position in the SACP, among others.I KNEW the leftist narrative was absolute as wrong as it could be about Mandela’s “wonderfulness”. We KNOW the left reserves its’ highest praise, adulation, and self-flagellation for the WORST of the bunch in the dictator crowd. Watch what happens when goddamn Fidel dies.

Buck is right – it’s easy to distance ourselves from it because we have such a better life than most countries. It’s easy to overlook the ugly truth and accept the media stories at face value. I didn’t think about him as being bad or good. I simply didn’t think about him at all.
TRUTH! I have prayed for the South African whites for years now. They tweet their plight on twitter too.
