Signed by the Governor: Maine Law Prohibits State Gun Registries

Posted on June 22, 2017 AUGUSTA, Maine (June 19, 2017) – Last week, Maine Gov. Paul LePage signed a bill into law prohibiting any type of state firearms registry. The law will not only protect the privacy of Maine gun owners, it will also hinder the federal government’s ability to develop a firearms database and create a climate less favorable to federal gun control. PC Broken? Better Not Call The Geek Squad

Ah, the ever-devious federal government, and their allies in the business community.  Not content just to capture and archive EVERY email, web IP address, and cell phone call in the nation, the FBI hired employees of The Geek Squad to spy on and record “evidence” illegally found on customers’ computers.  Joe Stalin would have been proud of this one:  Turn citizens into undeputized law enforcement personnel, and pit them against their fellow men using warrantless secret searches.  Time to shut down the Geek Sneak Squad!
