Feh Johnson Is Not Leaving Quietly

With just FIVE more days of The Regime, federal power grabs are popping up all across the fruited plain. DHS martinet Feh Johnson has just designated our nation’s state and local election systems as “critical infrastructure”. This entitles DC asshats to override the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, as well as YOUR county and state boards of elections, and commandeer the supervision and management of elections. Now under federal purview are any and all elections, from town dog-catcher to president. I suspect President Trump can roll this crapola back, but time will tell just how difficult that’ll be.  Obammy has planted … Continue reading

Bless Our Troops

We should all be reminded that there are men and women of our Armed Services who are standing guard tonight and every night to protect all of us.  GOD Bless each and every one of them. And May GOD protect them. A Different Kind Of Christmas Poem The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight. The sparkling lights … Continue reading

Time To Fight The Bastards With Their Own Weapons

Good news: Firepower is ready on one front if the dems take the White House. Rush Limbaugh announced this past Friday he’s inked a contract for four more years of “The Rush Limbaugh Show”. Limbaugh also broadly hinted that he knows he has been targeted by The Regime for a takedown if Hillaroid wins the election. Knowing that the left cannot tolerate differing opinions, their minions and agencies will use the comically-misnamed Fairness Doctrine to go after local stations that carry his show and do not devote an equal amount of airtime to differing (read: officially-sanctioned) opinions. The left uses … Continue reading

Just A Reminder….

…..Lest We Forget The National Moment of Remembrance, established by Congress in 2000, asks Americans, wherever they are at 3 p.m., local time, on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The time 3 p.m. was chosen because it is the time when most Americans are enjoying their freedoms on the national holiday. The Moment does not replace traditional Memorial Day events; rather, it is an act of national unity in which all Americans, alone or with family and friends, honor those who died in service to the United States.   … Continue reading

A SOLDIER DIED TODAY

As a veteran, I felt the impact of this wonderful video all the way to my core. I’m one of the lucky ones who can Stand,Salute, and Thank those who gave the last measure of themselves for God and Country, who sacrificed all without concern for themselves, but rather for those they served with and the nation they so willingly put it all on the line for!       GOD BLESS AMERICA in these troubled times and GOD BLESS and protect our warriors who are still fighting for us all. ~Terry

Quote Of The Day — January 30, 2016

. “When we assumed the Soldier, we did not lay aside the Citizen; and we shall most sincerely rejoice with you in the happy hour when the establishment of American Liberty, upon the most firm and solid foundations shall enable us to return to our Private Stations in the bosom of a free, peacefully and happy Country.” George Washington,  Address to the New York Legislature, 1775   ~ ~   Grouchy   ~ ~

Quote Of The Day — January 27, 2016

. Even despots accept the excellence of liberty. The simple truth is that they wish to keep it for themselves and promote the idea that no one else is at all worthy of it. Thus, our opinion of liberty does not reveal our differences but the relative value which we place on our fellow man. We can state with conviction, therefore, that a man’s support for absolute government is in direct proportion to the contempt he feels for his country. Alexis-Charles-Henri Clérel de Tocqueville, (July 29, 1805, – April 16, 1859) Ancient Regime and the Revolution   ~ ~   Grouchy   … Continue reading

It is a bat guano crazy world

. It is a bat guano crazy world Judson Phillips   January 26, 2016 In the Superman comic book series, there is a place called Bizzaro world. In that world everything is upside down. Today America seems much as George Orwell described the words emblazoned on the Ministry of Truth in 1984. “War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.” Yesterday one of the most insane things happened. It shows the nation is falling apart and something must be done about it. What happened and why is it so crucial? When the Planned Parenthood tissue selling scandal broke last … Continue reading

Quote Of The Day — January 25, 2016

. “Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.” John Wayne, ( May 26, 1907 — June 11, 1979 )   ~ ~   Grouchy   ~ ~

Quote Of The Day — January 24, 2016

. “…when the laws have ceased to be executed, as this can only come from the corruption of the republic, the state is already lost.” Charles de Montesquieu, (18 January 1689 – 10 February 1755), “The Spirit of the Laws”   ~ ~   Grouchy   ~ ~

Quote Of The Day — January 23, 2016

. “Repeal that [welfare] law, and you will soon see a change in their manners. … Six days shalt thou labor, though one of the old commandments long treated as out of date, will again be looked upon as a respectable precept; industry will increase, and with it plenty among the lower people; their circumstances will mend, and more will be done for their happiness by inuring them to provide for themselves, than could be done by dividing all your estates among them.” Benjamin Franklin, ( January 17, 1706, Boston, MA, Died: April 17, 1790 )   ~ ~   … Continue reading

Quote Of The Day — January 20, 2016

. The strange American ardor for passing laws, the insane belief in regulation and punishment, plays into the hands of the reformers, most of them quacks themselves. Their efforts, even when honest, seldom accomplish any appreciable good. The Harrison Act, despite its cruel provisions, has not diminished drug addiction in the slightest. The Mormons, after years of persecution, are still Mormons, and one of them is now a power in the Senate. Socialism in the United States was not laid by the Espionage Act; it was laid by the fact that the socialists, during the war, got their fair share … Continue reading

Quote Of The Day — January 18, 2016

. “Every man who loves peace, every man who loves his country, every man who loves liberty ought to have it ever before his eyes that he may cherish in his heart a due attachment to the Union of America and be able to set a due value on the means of preserving it.” James Madison, Federalist No. 41., 1788   ~ ~   Grouchy   ~ ~

The slow fall of Hillary Clinton

. The slow fall of Hillary Clinton January 15, 2016 by Ben Crystal, From Personal Liberty     I almost pity Hillary Clinton. This was supposed to be her year. Eight years after a previously unknown senator from Illinois snatched the brass ring away from her outstretched claws, the woman who made a career out of being a walking Tammy Wynette lyric was finally going to step out from behind her husband’s considerable shadow and become the most powerful woman — check that, the most powerful human — on the planet. The old girl was so confident that her time … Continue reading

Quote Of The Day — January 16, 2016

. “When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation, and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.” Marko Kloos, ad on Patriot Depot   … Continue reading

Quote Of The Day — January 15, 2016

. “What, sir, is the use of militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty… Whenever Government means to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon their ruins.” Elbridge Gerry, 1789   ~ ~   Grouchy   ~ ~

Quote Of The Day — January 14, 2016

. “History affords us many instances of the ruin of states, by the prosecution of measures ill suited to the temper and genius of their people. The ordaining of laws in favor of one part of the nation, to the prejudice and oppression of another, is certainly the most erroneous and mistaken policy. An equal dispensation of protection, rights, privileges, and advantages, is what every part is entitled to, and ought to enjoy… These measures never fail to create great and violent jealousies and animosities between the people favored and the people oppressed; whence a total separation of affections, interests, … Continue reading
