Another Winning Move by President Trump

New Trump Order Seeks To Tear Down Regulations, Build Up Apprenticeships Western Journalism Jack Davis June 15, 2017 President Donald Trump acted Thursday to demolish a bureaucratic infrastructure that he said needed to be removed to allow America’s companies to create apprenticeships that will provide jobs for millions. To do so, he signed an executive order that will more than double the amount of money delegated to apprenticeship programs from $90 million to almost $200 million annually. Trump also vowed to increase federal grants to support companies that launch apprenticeship programs in fields such as information technology, as well … Continue reading

Another Obama Regime Screw-Up That’ll Cost You & Me Big Bucks

Be thankful for Judicial Watch!  Here’s a timely report, coming as it does during the debate over government-managed health care.  You probably won’t be surprised to learn that the student loan program, federalized by the Obama Regime, is upside-down financially.  You may, however, be surprised when you find out that King Putt’s minions made a “coding error” that masks the failure of a majority of borrowers to keep their loan repayments current, and conceals the true magnitude of the multi-billion dollar loss now confronting American taxpayers.  Y’see, the Puttster could mask information that might damage HIM … but he deliberately … Continue reading

Illegals: Visa Overstays Exceed Illegal Border Crossings

An article in the 21 March 2017 issue of “Corruption Chronicles” from our allies at Judicial Watch highlights another aspect of the illegal immigrant problem, one that a border wall hardly solves: Focus on Border Wall as Visa Overstays Create Illegal Immigrant Crisis While the Trump administration focuses on securing the southern border, most illegal immigrants enter the United States legally and stay after their visa expires, a new study reveals. That’s because, incredibly, the U.S. doesn’t have an adequate system to assure the foreigners leave when they’re supposed to. This has been a serious problem for years and in … Continue reading

Our Great Friends The Saudis

Pamela Geller is equal parts right-on and over-the-top in her periodic commentaries on The Religion Of Peace (t.m.reg.)  Here are some facts about the contribution our great friends the Saudis have made towards spreading Islamist terrorism, jihad, and the general destruction of western societies and economies.  Asshats on both sides of the aisle conveniently ignore these facts.  From George W. Bush and his clique of warmongering neocons … to Lyndon Johnson, Jean-Jacques Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama and their clique of warmongering progressives … for decades the House of Saud has enjoyed continuous and humongous American support in form … Continue reading

Why Increased Infrastructure Spending Is Not A Full Answer To America’s Employment Problems

Gary North recently posted an article that shows just how far quality pre-fabricated and computer-printed construction techniques have come in the building industry.  While these methods do not apply to high-end custom single-family homes,  they are already having an impact in the modular home market, as well as the suburban strip and downtown highrise arenas. As a licensed general contractor, I’ve seen homebuyers in the low- and mid-price ranges (under $200K in my market) already migrate to prefabricated / modular homes over stickbuilt.  Not only is there a significant cost advantage (even including site prep and foundation work), the quality … Continue reading

Bed Bath And Beyond Responds….

…. to my snark-o-gram about their decision to carry the Erectile Dysfunction line of home items by Ellen Degenerate.  I will give them credit for at least taking me seriously.  Reading between the lines, I suspect they have heard from a few other ticked-off folks besides yrs trly.  See for yourself: Response By Email (Paigja) (03/09/2017 04:13 PM) Dear Roger, Thanks for sharing your feedback. First and foremost, we appreciate that this is a very sensitive issue toward which many people have strong feelings. US Pay Rates For Men And Women: Myths Debunked

How to lie with statistics:  “Women earn only 80% of what men are paid” (per the AAUW among other sources).  But when you adjust the data to match the realities of the workplace, the gender wage gap is much smaller, often just 1% or 2%, and varies from profession to profession.  Further, the data shows that professional women’s rates of pay growth typically EXCEED those of men up to age 30, which is the average age when women take temporary or permanent leave of the workforce to have children.   The statistics in the following article are worth a look, … Continue reading

We Don’t Care Either

In the highly competitive restaurant industry, there are consequences to actions that detract from quality customer service, as 12 Oklahoma workers who failed to show up for work in support of the “Day Without Immigrants” protest found out the hard way. Not that the owner didn’t show a little compassion along the way.The restaurant workers, all Hispanic, were employed at the “I Don’t Care Bar and Grill” in Catoosa and were fired after participating in Thursday’s show of support for illegal immigrants..…fired courtesy of a text message. The owner who suddenly found himself down 12 workers did show compassion for those … Continue reading

Ray Stantz Compares The Private Sector To Government Jobs

Another “teachable moment” from cinema, to help us understand the attitude of many government (and university) employees.  To a large extent, this classic clip represents the attitudinal difference between people who live and work in TrumpWorld, and many of those sucking on the GS teat, drawing guaranteed paychecks (and medical insurance, and cushy pension plans, and insulation from performance reviews ….) source:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKT-eWMWXOE — SafeSpace —

Another Lagoon In The Swamp: The EB-5 Green Card Program

The February 2017 issue of “Verdict”, the monthly print pub from Judicial Watch, featured a story by Micah Morrison about yet another corrupted federal program.  This one doles out green cards to wealthy foreigners in exchange for payments of $500,000.  As the article says, “The stated purpose of the EB-5 program is job creation.  Each $500K fee is supposed to be directed to projects in economically distressed targeted employment areas in the US to create ten full-time jobs.” This program has generated income for Uncle Sam in the range of $15B to $21B in the last ten years.  And how … Continue reading

Hypocritical Leftist Tech Companies Move North To Dodge H-1B Visa Crackdown

After pontificating about “immigrant rights” and “evil Trump” from their posts high up in Google and Facebook …. after attempting to politicize eBay with banners that proclaim leftist sentiments …. after bribing the Obama Regime to use H-1B visas to import foreign tech workers at pay levels 75% below those of Americans …. We now learn that the patriotic progressives who make millions running hi-tech companies here in America, are planning a back-door move to Justin Trudeau-Land, where they can continue to import low-earning workers without government scrutiny.  And these bastards question OUR patriotism.  British Columbia has long been home … Continue reading

Chuck U. Schumer Destroys Bank, Blames Republicans, Hides Behind Voters’ Collective Amnesia

This cautionary tale is a variation on The Limbaugh Theorem, whereby a powerful progressive Democrat politician runs his big, ignorant mouth about a private sector situation, creates a disaster, then stands aside and clucks about the problem, whilst blaming “sinister, invisible forces” in the GOP for the problem.  Starring Chuck U. Schumer and the ever-lovable and brilliant Elizabeth Warren, this tale reveals economic destruction caused by a meddling progressive politician who has managed to evade all penalties for his actions, let alone accepting any blame. Back in 2008 there was a major bank named IndyMac.  This bank worked with Fannie … Continue reading

WTF: Trump’s Likely Treasury Boss Is A Professional Swamp-Dweller, ex-Soros Fund Mgmt & Goldman Sachs

Interesting, is it not, that Trump may select Steve Mnuchin (or is it Munchkin), a longtime swamp dwelling high-level player at Goldman Sachs and Soros Fund Management (yes, you read that right ) as Treasury Secretary.  This pick makes the consideration of Romney for SoS look good. Among the many, many reasons we should beware anything to do with Goldman Sachs, note that they have an entire investment research division dedicated to taking the “man” out of “manufacturing”.  I wonder if this group has been helping Carrier and Ford eliminate jobs? source:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmDR29YNKqc — SafeSpace —

Tell Me It Ain’t So: Another Stimulus Package Coming?

Last night Mark Levin made a strong case AGAINST federally-funded infrastructure spending, correctly pointing out that such programs are paid for with dollars confiscated from the private sector. Yet it is undeniably true that our nation needs to repair or replace roads, bridges, airports, school buildings etc etc across the board — and since these are facilities that benefit the general public, the public should bear the cost. So how should president Trump fund his “Rebuild America” efforts? Are we in for another round of “you didn’t build that”? Steven Mufson at the L.A. Times (yeah, I know, the L.A. … Continue reading

Troubling But Reliable Economic Statistics

Income tax collections are a truly reliable method of determining national economic activity and trends. Businesses and many individuals pay quarterly; corporations pay withholding monthly, even weekly in the case of the largest  businesses.  So trends are fairly easy to spot in real-time. The US Treasury tells us collections are down and are trending lower. This is a clear picture of President Asshat’s “strong economy”, the one that’s been turned around so effectively during the past 7 point 5 years.  A vote for Hillaroid is a vote for more of the same. Sourced from David Stockman’s Contra Corner:   http://davidstockmanscontracorner.com/recession-alert-from-the-us-treasury-tax-collections-have-slumped-big-time/ Recession … Continue reading

The Unholy Elitist Alliance To Destroy America

We are witnessing a political and social struggle unique in nearly 70 years. The last time such a coordinated elitist effort was made to destroy America was during the 1930s, when many in the American intelligentsia, the entertainment industry, and the halls of higher education openly supported fascism and communism, Today’s actions by key Republicans, the entire mainstream media, and the thugs formerly known as Democrats, to take down Donald Trump and give control of the next several decades to an out-of-control pack of statists, is eerily familiar to anyone who has studied mid-20th century history. These “progressive” folks , … Continue reading

Hillaroid To The .01% Crowd: “I’m Kind Of Far Removed….”

Wikileaks just released the text of a few of Hillaroid’s $350K speeches to select audiences of investment bankers and stock manipulators. Allow me to present some of her statements, courtesy emails sent to John Podesta and revealed by the Russians Trump Wikileaks.  This is about as far into Hillaroid’s thinking as it is safe for a normal human to go (without wearing a hazmat suit and submitting to decontamination afterwards). *CLINTON ADMITS SHE IS OUT OF TOUCH* *Hillary Clinton: “I’m Kind Of Far Removed” From The Struggles Of The Middle Class “Because The Life I’ve Lived And The Economic, You … Continue reading

Eternal Pessimist/Realist David Stockman Lauds Trump’s Comments On The Fed’s “Bubble”

A looooonng article (typical Stockman) written immediately after the first Trump / Hillaroid debate …. but a worthy read. Stockman is a long-time and very public critic of the Fed’s interest rate policies, predicting that repeated rounds of “quantitative easing”, and zero to negative interest rates, are techniques that enrich players in the financial markets at the expense of the real producing economy and retail investors.  I can envision Ron Paul fist-pumping as he reads this one. http://davidstockmanscontracorner.com/the-donald-nailed-it-we-are-in-a-big-fat-ugly-bubble/ The Donald Nailed It: “We Are In A Big Fat Ugly Bubble” By David Stockman 9/27/2016 Most of the 90 minutes last … Continue reading
