Massive Amnesty Proposed: GOP Continues To Treat Symptoms And Ignore The Disease

Some days I read news stories and have to pinch myself to make sure I’m still living in reality.  Well, here’s today’s message from the “different day, same shit” department: Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (R) and Colorado Representative Ken Buck (R) have proposed The American Replacement Bill, to import 495,000 foreign workers plus unlimited family members, “to replace Americans who cannot work because of opioid addiction”, and who also dropped out of the workforce during the last two recessions. Johnson and Buck blame this “plague” of “social pathologies” on government policies.  Their solution:  Import more foreign workers.  The legislation is … Continue reading

It’s Only Been Six Months

From Canada Free Press: Does anyone remember, or give a damn about, the events of November 4, 2014? Back then, Republicans were given control of both houses of the US Congress, ostensibly to stall, if not make grave-yard dead, the tyrannical abuses of Barack Obama, America’s diversity-gone-amuck Poster Child. Republicans were charged with confronting The One and ending his threat to “fundamentally transform” America. God Bless the GOP! cried conservatives in premature, unfounded joy, hailing what at the time seemed like the return of sanity and patriotism to the halls of Congress. “We will take America back!” crowed “leaders” Mitch … Continue reading

Judge Demands Explanation on Amnesty Papers

From Western Journalism: The federal judge in Texas who blocked President Obama’s executive amnesty order is calling government lawyers on the carpet. Judge Andrew Hanen late Monday ordered Obama’s legal team to appear in the judge’s courtroom to explain how and why they allegedly lied about what the government has already done with regard to granting rights and privileges to some 100,000 illegal immigrants. Now, as U.S. News & World Report tells us, the federal judge is none too happy and has just told government lawyers thay must appear in court on March 19th. “The hearing is in response … Continue reading

Obama’s Executive Amnesty is Much, Much Worse than You Think

From: Redstate.com, By: Leon H. Wolf, March 2nd, 2015, Read the article HERE.   Unless you are one of Obama’s bootlickers in the Senate, you probably are under the impression that Obama’s executive amnesty is a bad idea even if, like me, you are somewhat squishy on the issue of immigration itself. But however bad you thought it was that Obama is seeking to unilaterally rewriting a law that is constitutionally within the exclusive purview of Congress, you will think this is much worse: the IRS has decided to allow illegal immigrants who receive social security numbers under the executive … Continue reading

More Than 20K Illegals Have Crossed Border Since Jan. 1

From CNS News: “We all saw what happened on the Texas border last summer, but we need to understand that the problem is not going away,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott told CBS’s “Face the Nation” with Bob Schieffer on Sunday. “Already this calendar year, since January 1, we have had more than 20,000 people come across the border, apprehended, unauthorized. And so we have an ongoing problem on the border that Congress must step up and solve.” All told in fiscal year 2014, U.S immigration officials removed 213,719 individuals apprehended while attempting to unlawfully enter the United States.) Schieffer reminded … Continue reading

DC Lawmakers Float Bill to Allow Non-Citizens to Vote

Washington Times: A bill introduced by D.C. lawmakers would grant some immigrants lacking U.S. citizenship the ability to vote in municipal elections. The Local Resident Voting Rights Act of 2015 would allow D.C. residents who are not U.S. citizens but meet the federal definition of having permanent residency status to cast ballots in local elections, including races for mayor and the D.C. Council as well as initiatives and charter referendums. D.C. Council member David Grosso, at-large independent, introduced the legislation Tuesday. In a statement announcing the introduction of the bill, Mr. Grosso cited statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau that … Continue reading

Jeb Bush: I Can ‘Persuade’ Conservatives on Amnesty

From Breitbart: Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush believes he can “persuade” conservatives to support comprehensive amnesty legislation during a potential 2016 presidential campaign. In the second part of his interview with a local Florida television station this week, Bush was asked about the “immigration issue” and whether he could “get through the primary” with his pro-amnesty positions. Bush replied to NBC 6 in Florida that “a candidate gets to persuade.”  “I think there’s a compelling case that, if we want to be young and dynamic again, we have to make legal immigration easier than illegal immigration, that we control our borders, enforce … Continue reading

23 States Join Greg Abbott’s Law Suit

From Mad World News: I’m loving this because Greg Abbott knows his business and 23 other states have jumped in to support his law suit against O for his unconstitutional actions on amnesty for over 5 million illegals living in the US.  (Note the sign to Abbott’s side) In what is sure to be an all out legal brawl, Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott seems to have drawn first blood by filing a lawsuit against President Obama. Abbott filed the suit in response to Obama’s unconstitutional executive action that would shield up to five million illegal aliens from deportation. Almost half of … Continue reading

Sen McConnell: Immigration Reform is Low Priority

From Breitbart: Soon-to-be Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says immigration reform will be a low priority next year in the wake of President Obama’s executive action on immigration. Speaking to Roll Call, McConnell said that while the current immigration system is “broken,” Obama’s recent executive actions — including offering legal status and work permits to nearly 5 million illegal immigrants — makes the prospect of moving quickly on reform next Congress far-fetched. “Well I can tell you for sure that what the president did after the election makes it unlikely that it is an early item for this conference. But … Continue reading

Then It was Trey Gowdy’s Turn

From The Blaze: Immigration Activist Suggests Race May Be Why GOP Opposes Obama Executive Action…. Then It Was Trey Gowdy’s Turn Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) interrogated Marielena Hincapie, the executive director of the National Immigration Law Center, during a Tuesday House hearing on President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration reform after she seemingly suggested race may be the basis behind the GOP’s opposition to the unilateral action. “I could’ve sworn in response to a question you received… you suggested race is the basis for why we may have this constitutional perspective,” Gowdy said to Hincapie. “Did I understand you … Continue reading

Amnesty and Illegal Aliens with Stolen IDs

From Judicial Watch: Obama Amnesty as Feds Bust Illegal Aliens That Got $7.2 Mil from IRS with Stolen IDs In the same week that President Obama issued his administrative amnesty sparing millions from deportation, the feds busted a criminal ring of illegal immigrants that used stolen identities to defraud the U.S. government out of $7.2 million in tax refunds. The mastermind of this sophisticated operation is a resourceful delinquent in Frankfurt, Delaware who runs a landscaping and cleaning business called “Las Tres Mujeres” (the three women in Spanish). Her name is Linda Avila and she’s admitted in federal court … Continue reading

Trey Gowdy’s Statement on Obama’s Amnesty EO

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), chair of the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, released this statement following the announcement of the President’s executive action on immigration: “The thread that holds the tapestry of our country together is respect for and adherence to the rule of law.  The law is our greatest unifier and our greatest equalizer.  Attempts to undermine the law via executive fiat, regardless of motivation, are dangerous.  President Obama may seek a fight with Republicans in Congress, but in reality he is fighting with founders of this republic and the carefully crafted separation of powers. “Whether previous … Continue reading

Defiant Obama Plans to Use His Power on Immigration and Keystone XL

From AllenbWest.com Could it be that the United States of America is on the verge of a constitutional crisis? As reported by Politico, “President Barack Obama on Friday defended his plans to use executive power to bypass Congress, signaling that he’s determined to move on issues like immigration and climate change, especially when lawmakers have failed to act. “They have the ability to fix the system. What they don’t have is the ability to do is expect me to stand by with a broken system in perpetuity,” Obama said on immigration reform at a joint news conference here with Myanmar … Continue reading

Speaking of ‘Mindnumbingly Stupid’…

From Allen West: Just when you think the Dems couldn’t possibly get any stupider, well, they just do. They continue to prove that their stupidness is infinite. It’s out there in the airwaves trashing out the galaxy. Every day I ask myself, can the Obama administration demonstrate any more incompetence? And every day I’m not let down – but today is really something special. As reported by CNS News, “Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said at a House Homeland Security Committee hearing last Wednesday that granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens in the United States could encourage terrorists among … Continue reading

DOJ Brings on Back Door Amnesty

From The Daily Caller: The Department of Justice’s board of immigration appeals has decided to let Guatemalan women win asylum in the United States if they claim to be victims of domestic violence. The decision creates a huge new incentive for Guatemalan women to cross the U.S. border, because if their asylum claim is accepted, their children get U.S. citizenship, plus the use of federal health, education and retirement programs, regardless of their initial education and work skills. The new decision also means that many of the Guatemalan women who have already crossed the border this year have a new … Continue reading

WH Adviser: ‘The President Has No Choice But To Act’ On Immigration

From the Daily Caller: Top White House communications adviser Dan Pfeiffer claimed on Sunday that President Obama “has no choice but to act” and grant amnesty to as many as five million illegal immigrants — adding that the orders will be executed “at the end of the summer.” Pfeiffer spoke to a skeptical George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” about the rumored executive actions to work around Congress and enact the president’s preferred immigration policy. Stephanopoulos noted that last fall, President Obama claimed he did not have the authority to go it alone. “Doesn’t a reversal like that fuel the arguments … Continue reading

Flood of Illegals Rooted in Sex Trafficking Law

Excerpts From the York Times: It was one of the final pieces of legislation signed into law by President George W. Bush, a measure that passed without controversy, along with a pension bill and another one calling for national parks to be commemorated on quarters. Originally pushed by a bipartisan coalition of lawmakers as well as by evangelical groups to combat sex trafficking, the bill gave substantial new protections to children entering the country alone who were not from Mexico or Canada by prohibiting them from being quickly sent back to their country of origin. Instead, it required that they … Continue reading

Dick Durban: Obama to ‘Borrow’ Congressional Power to Rule on Immigration

From Examiner.com: If House Republicans do not act on immigration in the way Barack Obama wants soon, then the president will simply “borrow” Congress’ legislative powers and unilaterally rule on the issue, bypassing Congress once again, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., said Thursday. “I don’t know how much more time he thinks he needs, but I hope that Speaker Boehner will speak up today,” Durbin said. “And if he does not, the president will borrow the power that is needed to solve the problems of immigration.” Democrats have issued an ultimatum to Republicans in the House, telling them that if they … Continue reading

A Border Patrol Agent Speaks Out

Dennis Michael Lynch went to south Texas last week and spoke with several agents. Here’s his interview with one of them. Last week, I visited South Texas for the second time in two years.  Once again, I was blown away with the lack of border enforcement.   Although I must admit, the situation is now ten times worse than it was when I visited in 2013. I am constantly receiving messages from Border Patrol Agents who want to share information.   During my trip last week, I met with three agents from various sectors.  Each told me similar stories which send shivers down … Continue reading

Let’s Rethink Ben Carson’s Candidacy for 2016

Examiner.com: Dr. Ben Carson, potential contender for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016, has been enjoying near “rock star” status in ostensibly conservative circles. If that continues, “conservatives” had might as well give up trying to cast themselves as representing the “pro-gun” position, because Carson’s stance on guns is one that would probably not displease the Brady Campaign. Carson first raised gun owners’ hackles in March, 2013, when he blithely told Glenn Beck that the right to own semi-automatic firearms is contingent on where one lives. From Mediate: But when asked whether people should be allowed to own “semi-automatic weapons,” … Continue reading
