Ways Government Can Help Communities Get Back To Work

It isn’t often we can talk about EPA helping a community rather than finding ways to stymie and wrap them up in regulations and rules. BUT here is one that is worth a great deal toward moving unemployed and young people forward into an industry that really needs to be considered.   How many times have we heard of disasters where hazmat cleanup and workers were involved? Certainly more every day as places across the country meet different scenarios. Where do these workers come from? How do they get trained? Is it an industry that could provide good paying jobs … Continue reading

H.J.Res. 43 Now Law – A Win For Pro-Life Values

Totally being ignored or generally hushed up by MSM has been the signing of HJ Res 43 into law. Only brief references and mostly non-mainstream have told the story. The president’s enactment of the legislation into law is the latest in what is now a series of pro-life actions by his administration in moves designed to fulfill promises of his campaign to pro-life advocates: –Trump signed an executive order Jan. 23 that reinstated the bans on federal funds for organizations that perform or promote abortions overseas. –The State Department announced April 3 it would not forward congressionally approved money to … Continue reading

Wildlife Groups Attempting To Stop Border Walls

Congress returns on April 24 and 25 after an Easter break to mull over more issues. The one taking front and center is the looming budget deadline. Of the issues most important during campaigns and for citizens in general is the building of a border security wall using technology, increased border manpower, and a physical wall to get it done. Wildlife groups have always found ways to thwart construction or forward advancement to protect wildlife. I actually am for better building construction with wildlife concerns in mind. But, I believe that with meaningful mediation, forethought, knowledge, and cooperation both sides … Continue reading

Advocacy Groups Warn Against ‘Illegal’ Hiring Practices at Justice

Seriously, advocacy groups on either side of the political spectrum and their “warnings” are enough to make a looney bird seem sane. I bet AG Sessions is swamped with “demand” letters and “thou shalt” attitudes. However, in the case of the most conservatives who are sick of the liberal attitudes, we are aware of just how divisive and at times warped Obama’s agencies were when handing out so-called justice in the name of civil rights and political correctness… This week in Government Executive Management is an article written by Eric Wagner. He talks about a collection of 23 progressive and public interest advocacy organizations and … Continue reading

More Winning: Haitian Immigration Down by 97%

From the Washington Times: Sometime around November, word began to trickle back down the spine of Latin America: The U.S. was getting stricter about letting in Haitians at the border. Not only had the Obama administration begun deporting Haitians after a six-year humanitarian pause, but President Trump also had just been elected, presaging an even tougher policy. Many of those en route, such as the hundreds staged at migrant camps in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, figured they had gone that far and had little to lose by trying to finish the journey north. But for the tens of thousands of … Continue reading

Some Thoughts on Missiles & Bombs

These last days I have been ruminating over the events abroad, actions by President Trump, actions by world leaders, responses from idiots… Some things make no sense unless one steps back a bit.  It is akin to not being able to see a forest because you are too close to the trees.  That stated, this is what I have concluded: A)  Syria allegedly gassed it’s own people thus garnering a response of 59 cruise missiles from the USA on an airfield.  I call bullshit on Assad ordering the gas.  What’s more likely is jihadis used a remote detonator strapped to … Continue reading

UN child sex ring uncovered in Haiti

UN child sex ring uncovered in Haiti   American Liberty Pac BY Katie April 13, 2017 United Nations Peacekeepers are anything but. The Associated Press has uncovered an internal UN investigation into a child sex ring operated by UN Peacekeepers in Haiti. The allegations are disturbing — and offenders largely go unpunished: “I did not even have breasts,” said a girl, known as V01 — Victim No. 1. She told U.N. investigators that over the next three years, from ages 12 to 15, she had sex with nearly 50 peacekeepers, including a “Commandant” who gave her 75 cents. Sometimes she … Continue reading

Did China Just Deliver A Major Slap Down To North Korea

The following was sent over media nets but quickly removed. However, it was there long enough to be cached by at least one media outlet. China Threatens To Bomb North Korea’s Nuclear Facilities If It Crosses Beijing’s “Bottom Line” ZeroHedge by Tyler Durden April 12, 2017 With everyone putting down new and/or revised “red lines”, be it on Syria or North Korea, it was now China’s turn to reveal its “red” or rather “bottom line”, and in a harshly worded editorial titled “The United States Must Not Choose a Wrong Direction to Break the DPRK Nuclear Deadlock on Wednesday” Beijing … Continue reading

Why Is There Such A Problem With Syria – Part 2 Overview, 2000-2017

As I mentioned in the beginning, I started this as a quick timeline using just information on Syria. The purpose was to better understand how a president could order vile chemicals and other things against his own people. The more I delved into the timeline, the more I realized this wasn’t about one man though leadership is a strong indicator; but, it is really the events leading up to his installation and about all of the events surrounding his time as president. In many ways I do believe Assad is a bully autocratic leader. He is after all a … Continue reading

Why Is There Such A Problem With Syria – Part 1 Overview

Why Is There Such A Problem With Syria   We have had ample history over a thousand years of the rise, encroachment, receding, and dissolution of the Ottoman Empire and all those who were Islamic followers. In most cases, western cultures do not understand them nor their lifestyles at all and there is often a clash on beliefs and laws. Most westerners do understand that the different groups in the Middle East have been warring for as long as there have been tribes and sects of Islam. Just as most westerners today realize many of the so-called radicals follow … Continue reading

Trump Drops MOAB on ISIS in Afghanistan

In case you missed it, Trump authorized the use of a M.O.A.B (Mother Of All Bombs) on ISIS in Afghanistan near the Paki border.  A MOAB is the largest non-nuclear bomb and has never been used in combat before.  It has a blast radius of 1 mile.  Anyone within 20 miles will vomit their internal organs from the concussion. In other words… IT’S A BAD ASS BOMB. In other further words… DON’T EFF WITH US. ~ Hardnox
