Quote of the Day

We live in a wondrous time in which the strong is weak because of his moral scruples and the weak grows strong because of his audacity. • Otto von Bismarck And this, boys and girls, is why the democrats prevail so much and so often

Quote of the Day

For the first time, I am ashamed to be a German. Kaiser Wilhelm II In regard to Adolf Hitler’s Kristallnacht (November 1938).  While not a fan of Jews, Wilhelm was moreso NOT a fan of evil, and he saw this action as an evil directed against a sub-class of Germans (who were Jewish) by socialists (of whom he was even less of a fan). I think we are seeing a number of small kristallnachten here as the left goes further and further into the depths of insanity.  (As a friend of mine pointed out the other day, the book burnings … Continue reading

Quote if the Day

The division of the United States into federations of equal force was decided long before the Civil War by the high financial powers of Europe. These bankers were afraid that the United States, if they remained in one block and as one nation, would attain economic and financial independence, which would upset their financial domination over the world. The voice of the Rothschilds prevailed… Therefore they sent their emissaries into the field to exploit the question of slavery and to open an abyss between the two sections of the Union. • Otto von Bismarck Referencing the actions that were taking … Continue reading

Quote of the Day

Do not expect that once taking advantage of Russia’s weakness, you will receive dividends forever. Russian has always come for their money.  And when they come – do not rely on an agreement signed by you, you are supposed to justify.  They are not worth the paper it is written. Therefore, with the Russian is to play fair, or do not play. • Otto von Bismarck

Quote of the Day

I am just now not reading but devouring Captain Mahan’s book and am trying to learn it by heart. It is a first-class book and classical on all points. Kaiser Wilhelm II in a letter to an American friend (1893).  That book (The Influence of Seapower on History) by Alfred Thayer Mahan is one of the finest books on the use of seapower ever written, and is still used in every military school (including West Point and the USAF Academy)

Quote of the Day

Shoot down, behead and eliminate the Socialists first, if need be, by a blood-bath, then war abroad. But not before, and not à tempo. Kaiser Wilhelm II Letter to German Chancellor Bernhard von Bülow (1 January 1906) In other words – Get rid of socialists in whatever manner might be necessary, here and abroad, and do it sooner rather than later.

Quote of the Day

“WHAT IF THEY GAVE A WAR AND NO ONE CAME?” For many many years we have heard the question from the anti-war left, supposedly by Carl Sandburg   I came across the original – and it’s not what you might think. Continue reading

Quote of the Day

Above all, a knight needs three things: A God to serve, A King to obey, and a Lady to protect from all who would harm her. At any hour, day or night, he must be ready….” Ignatius of Loyola Founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) And while Inigo was talking about a Lady in the classical sense, there is nothing that cannot bring that “lady” into the present and call her Liberty, or America.

Quote of the Day

Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches Don’t like the man, never liked the man.  His colour had nothing to do with that, his actions did.  However, no matter who, some things are right, and as he says this, he is right.
