Coast Guard – “Brand” That Has Gone Up After This Past Year

What a major difference it makes when we have a President that sees and willingly honors those who put their lives on their line to patrol our shores and assist our citizens. Well Done, Mr. President! MAGA not just four letters strung together but a spirit rising once again.         I am so pleased to see our Coast Guard get the recognition they deserve. I had to laugh for a second though as he claimed “brand” what a typical BUSINESS leader comment — thank goodness — and not POLITICIAN smooze. He did bring up some political speak … Continue reading

Quote of the Day for Veterans Happy Veteran’s Day USA Happy Remembrance Day Canada

To our men and women in uniform, past, present, and future, God bless you and thank you. A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart. – Hercules Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor, also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as he best can, the same cause. -Abraham Lincoln A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. -Joseph Campbell America’s veterans embody the ideals upon which America was … Continue reading

The US Coast Guard, One of Drug Enforcements’ Best Defenses Along Our Shores

One of the hardworking branches of the military is often the least heard from, the least understood, and rarely receives accolades for a job well done. In the war against drugs entering our country or national threats, we often forget that one of the biggest routes is not by land or air–but by sea. The UNITED STATES COAST GUARD In March of 2017, the Administration’s Fiscal Years 2017 Budget Amendment and 2018 Budget Requests helped advance DHS Coast Guard operations. It wasn’t until matters came to light though about a proposed billion-dollar budget cut to the Coast Guard budget that … Continue reading

Border Patrol – Recognition For A Difficult Job

Rarely do we get a chance to offer our thanks to the Border Patrol for an outstanding job so I am taking this brief moment to honor all of them Coast Guard, ATF, ICE, CBP and any I forgot. They put their lives on the line in often remote and extremely difficult circumstances. The last administration chose to handcuff them and prevent their doing their best to aid in the National Security of our country. Not any more!     Here are some of the many press release actions they have taken just in the last few days alone. Ajo … Continue reading

Our Borders Are More Than Just A Wall – US Coast Guard Is Also A Vital Component

The 2017 Coast Guard Budget was done by Obama in February 2016. One can almost say, his budget was designed to help the drug dealers instead of keeping our coastline safe. His budget only called for purchasing and fitting of $704.1 million for vessels; $201.3 million for aircraft; and $51.1 million for shore projects. They were required to slim down the budget yet still maintain a high degree of efficiency and response. The budget request was $6.99 billion to operate and maintain Coast Guard assets and sustain essential front-line operations. Trump somehow has forgotten the importance and significance of … Continue reading

Bless Our Troops

We should all be reminded that there are men and women of our Armed Services who are standing guard tonight and every night to protect all of us.  GOD Bless each and every one of them. And May GOD protect them. A Different Kind Of Christmas Poem The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight. The sparkling lights … Continue reading

Just A Reminder….

…..Lest We Forget The National Moment of Remembrance, established by Congress in 2000, asks Americans, wherever they are at 3 p.m., local time, on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The time 3 p.m. was chosen because it is the time when most Americans are enjoying their freedoms on the national holiday. The Moment does not replace traditional Memorial Day events; rather, it is an act of national unity in which all Americans, alone or with family and friends, honor those who died in service to the United States.   … Continue reading

A SOLDIER DIED TODAY

As a veteran, I felt the impact of this wonderful video all the way to my core. I’m one of the lucky ones who can Stand,Salute, and Thank those who gave the last measure of themselves for God and Country, who sacrificed all without concern for themselves, but rather for those they served with and the nation they so willingly put it all on the line for!       GOD BLESS AMERICA in these troubled times and GOD BLESS and protect our warriors who are still fighting for us all. ~Terry

Remember the Climate!

From Canada Free Press Military triumphs and catastrophes have often hinged on how well (or luckily) armies and navies employed, avoided or benefited from weather, seasonal and other natural events. Severe storms helped the British navy defeat Spain’s Armada in 1588. George Washington knew horrid weather meant the Hessians would not expect an attack across the Delaware River on Christmas 1776. Napoleon captured Moscow before leading his Grande Armée’s exhausted, starving, freezing remnants back to France through a bitter 1812 Russian winter. Hitler’s army never even reached Moscow; it was decimated by disease, starvation, bullets and frigid cold at Stalingrad … Continue reading

Thank You To Chick-Fil-A

From Conservative Tribune — a story to touch the hearts of all patriots where the honoring of our military veterans is so beautifully rendered.  Other companies should be ashamed for not doing something like this.   Thank you for being one of the patriotic in our country who show that neither race, political ideology, ethnic background, nor gender takes away from being able to acknowledge the worth of those who have given so much in the line of duty in service to freedom, family, and country.     Chick-fil-A, the same fast-food outlet that constantly gets accused by liberals of … Continue reading

Understanding Army vs Guard – Apache Transfers

I have seen several frenetic and conspiracy articles on this issue of Apache transfers. So I looked into the problem to understand its implications. My knowledge is limited in the area of military so understanding why transfers between army/national guard would be such a sore point or why conspiracy people were harping was important. Background first, Apache Helos are ace fighting machines used for war across the world as well as search and rescue missions here at home. The latest version was received in 2013 when twenty-four Apache Guardians arrived at the 1st Battalion 229th Aviation Army … Continue reading

The Stupidity Continues.

Last week, Obama The Corrupt addressed the Coast Guard Academy’s graduating class, exhorting them that their GREATEST enemy is… wait for it…climate change. And here I thought it was drug smugglers and the like. This week, Obama The Corrupt is selling this shit to the people who KNOW better. This clown is a real piece of work. Thanks again, you 66 million morons. Charlie Spiering at Breitbart.com has the latest.   Obama: Climate Change Having ’Significant Effect’ On Making Hurricanes Stronger   by  Charlie Spiering   28 May 2015 At the National Hurricane Center in Miami, President Obama warns that the … Continue reading

Military is not so happy with the Big O

In his first term, President Obama oversaw repeal of the controversial “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. Then he broke with one of the military’s most deeply rooted traditions and vowed to lift the ban on women serving in combat. And the commander in chief has aggressively sought to change military culture by cracking down on sexual assault and sexual harassment, problems that for years were underreported or overlooked. Obama is an unpopular president in the eyes of the men and women in uniform. Yet his two-term administration is etching a deep imprint on the culture inside the armed forces. As … Continue reading

Wounded Warrior or Scam???

Came across this article today. I have heard mutterings from a number of different people lately about WWP – nothing good. Now this comes out. I say make up your own mind, but as for me, I shall find another place for my military money. Probably Fisher House. I already support Navy Relief Society. Years ago I quit letting the Red Cross have even a penny. During this Christmas and New Year’s season the gift of charity swells in the hearts of many.  And who better to benefit from that charity than those who have literally given life and limb … Continue reading

” A Day Which Will Live In Infamy”.

Today is December 7th. At this exact moment in history, 7: 48 AM Hawaii time, we came under attack. Students of REAL American History know EXACTLY what this day means. Too bad the left, and the ignorant (sorry for any redundancy) don’t understand it.   PEARL HARBOR ATTACKED By The Japanese.   The scenes from that terrible day were simply too horrific for most to begin to grasp. Scenes such as these :  At Battleship Row.   Or this one : The attack on the airfield, rendering most of our planes useless.   A few more :  A Jap rat bastard searching … Continue reading
