Perspective On Random Mass Murder In America: Do Black Lives Matter?

Short answer: To the American Left and the MSM:  NO, black lives do NOT matter, except as a political tool.  The MSM and the Democrat Party are in full foam-at-the-mouth mode about the Mandalay Massacre in Las Vegas.  Rightly so we should be horrified, and praying for the victims’ souls, and for prompt discovery of the shooter’s motives.  HOWEVER … There’s another story of massacres that the MSM and the Democrat Party prefer to ignore.  And that is the story of gun violence in Rahm Emanuel’s Democrat-controlled paradise on earth, Chicago.  Read on: http://heyjackass.com/ Final September Totals Shot & Killed: … Continue reading

Gov. Scott signs Florida emergency concealed carry bill

From Guns.com It will now be legal for gun owners in the Sunshine State to temporarily carry concealed handguns without a permit during periods when the sun isn’t shining so bright. Now law is a measure to allow law-abiding citizens without concealed carry licenses to bear arms during declared mandatory evacuations. A reboot of a failed 2014 bill that was killed in last minute political maneuvering, this session’s effort had an easier go of it after police lobby groups embraced the proposal. It passed the Republican-controlled Senate in an easy 29-10 vote while the House last month approved it by a 86-26 margin. “As … Continue reading

Sunday Feel Good Stories

Sent in by I.R. Wayright: Detroit: It’s safe to say that most criminals aren’t aware of this fact. If they were, they probably wouldn’t be dumb enough to victimize people who are clearly armed. That’s a mistake that one teenager from Detroit made earlier this month. He saw a 61-year-old man in a convenience store who was legally carrying a pistol and had the bright idea of trying to take it from him. He must have thought that the older man would be an easy target, and he quickly paid for that mistake when he was shot in the gut. … Continue reading

Buy A Roof, Get A Gun

A North Alabama roofing company called Digital Roofing Innovations have become sensationalized after they advertised, “Buy a roof, get a gun.” I mean, how can you turn that down? Apparently, business is booming ! Read the story HERE   Their company is a purty fur distance from me. but I’d hire them. More clothing would be mandatory, of course. ~Terry

Signed by the Governor: Maine Law Prohibits State Gun Registries

Posted on June 22, 2017 AUGUSTA, Maine (June 19, 2017) – Last week, Maine Gov. Paul LePage signed a bill into law prohibiting any type of state firearms registry. The law will not only protect the privacy of Maine gun owners, it will also hinder the federal government’s ability to develop a firearms database and create a climate less favorable to federal gun control. Rep. Patrick Corey (R-Windham) introduced House Bill 9 (LD9)  with a bipartisan coalition of cosponsors in January. The legislation prohibits the creation of a state firearms registry. “Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a government … Continue reading

The Left Takes ANOTHER Smackdown

this time from the FBI themselves! EXCERPT:  “The FBI has published a brief report on the shooting in Alexandria. It is devastating to the idea that the gun-control measures presently coveted by the Democratic party would have done something to prevent the attack. Over the past two decades, Democrats have focused on three major proposals for reform. They are: 1) That all private transfers should be contingent upon a federal background check; 2) That firearms that look a certain way should be classed as “assault weapons” and prohibited from sale; and 3) That civilians should be forbidden from buying magazines … Continue reading

Quote of the Day

We must be able to arrest people before they commit crimes. By registering guns and knowing who has them we can do that. If they have guns they are pretty likely to commit crimes. Mary Ann Carlson (ex) State Senator from Vermont (Yes, she is a Democrat) Mary Ann Carlson was defeated in a Vermont state senate race in 1994 after introducing gun control legislation that would have established a gun registry and a wait period for buying handguns.

An Indictment of America’s Constitutional Republic?

The stopgap federal budget passed today is a significant marker, one that makes certain conclusions clear as sunlight.  This budget changes nothing that Trump and his supporters demanded be changed.  Sanctuary cities are still funded, along with Klan Parenthood.  Immigration reform is not in this budget, nor are funds for a border wall — this budget specifically restricts construction of that wall, no less.  And Obamacare remains in force and funded. Since inauguration day, no significant new legislation has been sent to the floor nor has any been enacted.  The only federal policy changes have been made via executive orders, … Continue reading
