The Peoples President…

From The Conservative Tree House For a select group of dedicated people today marks a moment on a specific timeline over seven years long. 2008 and 2009 were tough years for advocates of small government and constitutional freedom.  The Auto-bailout, TARP, Omnibus and a trillion dollar “stimulus” signaled fiscal irresponsibility toward many; but a small group understood the larger issues which would tear apart a constitutional republic.  We connected, and more importantly, we assembled. After another defeat at 1:38am on December 23rd 2009, we knew our heels were over the precipice of the abyss.  Act, or be acted upon. Within … Continue reading

General John Kelly Confirmation

General John Kelly, Trump’s Pick for Homeland Security, Cruises in Hearing New York Times By Ron Nixon and Emmarie Huetteman JAN. 10, 2017 WASHINGTON — Gen. John F. Kelly, President-elect Donald J. Trump’s choice to lead the Department of Homeland Security, easily maneuvered through his confirmation hearing before the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday, drawing bipartisan support for what is likely be a smooth approval process by the full Senate. Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona, asked General Kelly about Mr. Trump’s much-debated calls to build a wall along the border with Mexico, questioning whether a barrier alone … Continue reading

Reins Act – Curbing Agencies Uncontrolled Regulations

Curbing Agencies Uncontrolled Regulations The House of Representatives definitely hit the ground running full out for the 115th Congress. Agencies like the EPA and FDA just got hammered for their abuse and uncontrolled writing of regulations independent of congressional oversight. Finally! The Reins Act passed quickly and relatively easily through the House of Representatives by 237 to 187. Now it is on its way to the Senate for review and approval.  Should this pass there as easily then we could see an extremely useful law enacted the first day Trump sits at his desk. What a refreshing thought that … Continue reading

Battle Lines Drawn – Trump’s Cabinet Confirmation Hearings

From the Washington ComPost: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday that Democrats should “grow up and get past” the election result. “We confirmed seven Cabinet appointments the day President Obama was sworn in,” he said, noting Republicans were a comparable position in 2009. “We didn’t like most of them, either. But he won the election,” McConnell said. “So all of these little procedural complaints are related to their frustration at having not only lost the White House, but having lost the Senate.” YOUR GUIDE TO THE CONFIRMATION HEARINGS Prepare yourself — things are … Continue reading

The Single Biggest Obstacle To Implementation Of Trump’s Agenda

…. is Mitch McConnell.  Ol’ Smidge thinks like a loser, and talks like a pacifist.  Let’s start with this December 20th appearance on KET TV, where Smidge makes it clear that he never had any faith in Trump’s power to win votes: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/mitch-mcconnell-i-didnt-think-president-trump-had-a-chance-to-win/ You don’t have to be the proverbial rocket scientist to figger this out:  If he didn’t expect Trump to do well, Smidge clearly does not understand the breadth and depth of anti-establishment fury and revulsion in the American electorate.  And why would he?  Smidge IS the establishment. Now that November 8th is well behind us, has McConnell … Continue reading

When A Liar Lies

once they lose ALL credibility. It appears that Clapper is using The Hillary Clinton technique of lying and that is, if your lies don’t get traction, come up with new lies, and you gain a week before those are outed as pure bullshit. Rinse. Repeat as necessary. The Lie:  March 12th, 2013, Senator Ron Wyden, during a United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing, asked Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper the following question: “Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” Director Clapper responded “No, sir.” Senator … Continue reading

Reid Missed The Lesson On Only Throw Stones IF YOU Are Innocent Of Wrong Yourself

The Upstanding Senator Accusing FBI – Really? Reid Probably Should Stop His FBI Comments Before His Home State Makes Their Move and The DoJ Decides To Declare CheckMate…. Salt Lake Tribune: Prosecutor Wants DOJ to Investigate Possible Harry Reid Connection to Suspected $2M Bribe Breitbart December 12, 2016 The $2 million cashier’s check was drawn at a St. George bank Nov. 5, 2010. From there, it was sent by FedEx to a Los Angeles attorney who represented Ireland-based Full Tilt Poker. Made out to “Mail Media LTD” — a Full Tilt-owned entity used to launder online-gambling funds — the millions then … Continue reading

Huckabee and Goolsbee debate election ‘rigging’ reports

This is good.  Huckabee nailed it. Congress investigating this is absurd as if the Benghazi investigations were so successful. Trump won.  Hillary lost.  The republicans shouldn’t fall for the media trap the left created.  It is stunning how stupid the R’s can be. ~ Hardnox

Speaking of the CIA

it appears that a former Communist and now a Muslim convert can become the Director. If one puts two and two together, with this group of clowns, it all becomes clear. This ain’t Dulles’ CIA, it is Obama’s and a walking, talking, clusterf*ck.  EXCERPT:  “Last week, during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual conference, Brennan admitted that he was asked if he had “ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the US” during his first polygraph test to enter the Central Intelligence Agency. “I froze,” Brennan said. “This was back in 1980, and I thought … Continue reading

Rex Tillerson A Leading Candidate For Trump’s Sec of State

This is a good interview with House Majority Leader Andrew McCarthy: I like what he said about Tillerson.  His experience with world leaders and their needs will go far with respect to negotiations with the USA. I also like his ideas about hamstringing executive over reach, but where were these during the 8 years of King Putt?  Yeah, I know… didn’t have the votes.  Oh bullshit.  They could have done it if they wanted to, especially the last 4 years.  Congress prostrated themselves before Putt.  Now they want to get tough with a Trump administration? Nutless wonders. ~ Hardnox

Embarrassed to be a Canadian

From Canada Free Press No matter what your political stripe is, occasionally you find your country’s leader, to use the vernacular “step in it.” Certainly Americans who are not on the far left can identify with that during the last eight years of the Obama administration. But rarely does a leader say something that makes you feel ashamed and embarrassed to have to admit you are a citizen of your country. A lot of Canadians feel that way after hearing what their prime minister had to say about the death of Fidel Castro. While in Madagascar giving away Canadians’ hard … Continue reading

Yorktown

Recently I visited the Yorktown Battlefield here in Virginia.  The siege and resulting battle concluded a bloody five-year conflict with the British Crown for American Independence.  The battle of Yorktown was the deciding conflict where on October 19, 1781 the British General Cornwallis surrendered to General George Washington. Standing on the battlefield flanked by the adjoining cemetery, I was humbled by the earthworks and the sheer vastness of the battlefield. The earthworks were lined with hundreds of cannons. One could almost hear the battle cries and the thunder of war. I couldn’t help but wonder how our forefathers might feel right now about … Continue reading

Memo To Harry Reid

Dear Harry: Donald Trump is not Mitt Romney. Your lies and ignorant, divisive comments will not stick to our President-Elect. STFU, Harry, and retire on the millions of dollars you managed to bank while working on the peoples’ payroll. Harry Reid Issues Statement On Election Of “Sexual Predator” Donald Trump by Tyler Durden Nov 11, 2016 10:08 AM 314 SHARES So much for the Democrats trying to unburn bridges with the republicans, and to reach across the aisle to president-elect Donald Trump. If the just released letter from senator Harry Reid is any indication, the Democrat attempts to stonewall every … Continue reading

It Is Not Just The Next President Up For Consideration

It Is Not Just The Next President Up For Consideration     Who becomes President is enormously important. However, filling seats in Congress is essential if Trump or Clinton want to achieve their goals. This is why paying attention and voting for the best choice for House of Representatives and Senate is just as important. The House of Representatives according to the Constitution has certain exclusive powers, including the right to initiate impeachment proceedings and to originate revenue bills. It represents the people and so holds position only for two year terms. The Senate has several advice and consent powers … Continue reading

A Frightening Preview of Hillary’s America

By: Daniel Greenfield – October 20, 2016 Hillary Clinton, of all people, summed up this debate and this election best. “What kind of country are we going to be?” The Evita of Arkansas is a compulsive liar who has never told the truth in her life. But this time around she was right. This election does not come down to the personalities. It comes down to the kind of country we are going to have. And in the third debate, the one that took a break from the petty haranguing of media lackeys like Lester Holt and Martha Raddatz, the issues … Continue reading

Psy-Ops, Short-Sighted Politics, and Never Compromise Your Leadership….

From ReclaimOurRepublic We have more than a few Military CTH alumni who completely and thoroughly understand the term: “never compromise your leadership“. However, against a backdrop of a newly engaged electoral awakening of the U.S. body politic there’s a larger number who don’t quite understand how that approach works. When it comes to an insurgency, voting “down ballot” per se’, do whatever your own intellectual reasoning tells you is best. Shut out voices that may carry ulterior motives and follow your instincts.  You know your community better than anyone else. Remember:  The strategic use of Cold Anger was explained on … Continue reading

Obama’s VA Desecrating Veteran Corpses

Stolen from Our Good Friend Peppermint Farm — you rock! Pepper has lots of good blogs for those not familiar with her site. 🙂     Obama’s VA Desecrating Veteran Corpses by Peppermint By Stephen Dietrich, Managing Editor September 30, 2016 I’ve read a lot of outrageous stories in my day. But this latest from an Illinois Veterans Affairs whistle-blower is one of the most shameful things I’ve ever seen. As a veteran, I care deeply about how our current and former military members and their families are treated by the government. Unfortunately, under President Barack Obama’s leadership, the VA … Continue reading
