Liberal States in US – Failing their citizens and creating third-world style homelessness – what MSM refuses to talk about

More than one in five homeless people was located in
either New York City (75,323 people or 14%) or Los Angeles (41,174 people or 7%).
The five major city Continuums of Care (CoCs)2 with the highest rates of unsheltered homelessness
were all located in California…
California Senate findings for 2015

Thanks to the socialist mindset in California leadership as well as other states….here is what has been happening and will continue to happen so long as those leaders are determined to follow Marxist ideology. Communism cannot exist with any degree of success especially in the US (no matter the new coined phrases).

I have talked and included videos about Argentina which showed the depths of despair and the failure of the communist ideological government there. Communism in all its parts kills, creates despair, incites violence, and destroys every economy it touches. All you have to do is search individual countries across the globe that have governments based upon the stricter forms of totalitarian government and communism ideology to find many live without roofs over their heads, without food in their daily existence, abject poverty at its worst.  Russia and China aside, most of the countries are rift with deadly diseases, starvation, malcontents, rampant gangs, and more.

At one time if asked, I would have categorically said — this would never happen in the US — I stand corrected. Where the strongest DEMOCRAT/socialist governments hold sway in our states, we ARE SEEING a descent into third world living. Associated Press just came out with an article that is a scathing reminder of what is really occurring.

Counting the homeless according to Cheat Sheet. Top ten cities according to most current figures:

1- New York – Thirteen percent of all homeless people in the United States live in New York City. The city has a large number of homeless, but only about 4% of them live on the street, according to HUD. Homeless people in New York are legally entitled to shelter, but because of a lack of shelter space, the city has been spending millions of dollars every year to house the homeless in hotels, the New York Times reported.

2-Los Angeles – Los Angeles has more chronically homeless, homeless veterans, and homeless young people than any other city in the country.  The sky-high cost of housing in the city is largely to blame for the homelessness crisis, the Los Angeles Timesreported. It appears some building efforts are being considered in order to help relieve this situation.

3-Seattle – Rising rents and cuts to government programs are partly to blame for Seattle’s large homeless population. The city has struggled to figure out what to do about the number of people living on the streets and in encampments. Tiny houses and other options are being used to help relieve the issue.

4-San Diego – Lack of affordable housing is a key component of the homelessness crisis in San Diego. Even people who get housing vouchers are often unable to use them because of low vacancy rates and high rents, KPBS reported.

5-District of Columbia – The number of homeless in Washington, D.C., grew by 34% between 2009 and 2016, an analysis of HUD by the U.S. Conference of Mayors found. The city has 124 homeless for every 100,000 residents. The high cost of living in the nation’s capital is to blame, local experts told the New York Times. Some low-wage workers, especially single mothers with children, simply can’t find stable, affordable housing.

6-San Francisco – HUD estimates there are just under 7,000 homeless in San Francisco, but the real number might be much higher. Local authorities and nonprofit groups estimate the real homeless population is somewhere between 10,000 and 12,000. The city has only 1,300 shelter beds, which means many homeless end up sleeping on the street, in tent encampments, and other spots around the city.

7-San Jose and Santa Clara  – San Jose might be at the heart of wealthy Silicon Valley, but it’s also home to one of the largest homeless populations in the U.S. Some of the homeless KQED said they worked full-time jobs but still couldn’t afford to rent in one of the most expensive cities in the country.

8-Boston – In Boston, 3,755 of the 6,240 homeless people are part of families with children. In Massachusetts overall, the number of homeless families has more than doubled in the past nine years, according to the Boston Globe. Relatively few people in Boston are sleeping out-of-doors because Massachusetts is one of the few places in the U.S. where most homeless have a legal right to shelter. (New York and Washington, D.C., are the others.)

9-Las Vegas – The number of homeless in Las Vegas dropped by over 1,000 from 2015 to 2016. But the city still has a large number of homeless youth and unsheltered homeless, according to HUD. Half of the homeless in the city were suffering from mental illness, according to the Nevada Homeless Alliance. Many others were victims of domestic violence.

10-Philadelphia – A 26% poverty rate, low wages, high housing costs, and a lack of affordable transportation all contribute to the problem of homelessness in Philadelphia, according to Project Home, a local nonprofit group. An opiate addiction crisis is also causing the homeless population in the city to grow, reported.

So what do all these cities have in common?

I. Mayors:

Democrat – New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia

Republican – San Diego (mayor appointed after prior mayor who was a Democrat resigned  then voted in, city council considered Moderate Democrat)

II. Sanctuary Cities meaning they won’t cooperate with ICE or have in most instances openly declared “sanctuary status”:

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston, Philadelphia

III. High Taxes ( 6.0% or higher)

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, San Diego

IV. Considered by some to be weighed down by an abundance of regulations

New York, Los Angeles, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston,  Philadelphia, San Diego

V. Strict Gun Laws

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston, Philadelphia, San Diego

VI. Noticeable Decline in population since 2015

New York, Philadelphia

VII. Noticeable Increase population since 2015 (much of this attributable to influx of immigrants otherwise most say there would have been a decline)

Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston, Philadelphia

VIII. Availability of affordable housing – shows increase in 2017 over 2016 (note these are definitely pushing to add more or repurpose since beginning of 2017)

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia

IX. Housing/Apartment costs increasing

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Boston, Philadelphia

X. State government

Democrat: California – Governor,  roughly 43% of state is Democrat and controls the state; Pennsylvania – Governor Democrat, however appears Republicans are edging out Democrats; New York – Governor Democrat, state mostly Democrat; District of Columbia – Mayor and area is mostly Democrat

Republican: Nevada – Governor, Republican (term limit reached), state leans Democrat; Massachusetts – Governor, Republican,  state leans Democrat

Split: Washington State – Governor Democrat, House Democrat and Senate Republican,  state leans Democrat

XI. Cities with highest levels of unauthorized (illegal) immigrants.

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Boston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, San Diego

XII. Cities with highest levels of refugees.

New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, District of Columbia, San Francisco, San Jose, Boston, Philadelphia, San Diego

HOW DARE these ten cities say a friggin’ word to anyone about any Trump, sanctuary city, or other problem,

HOW DARE the rich arses in California spend millions of dollars on trying to impeach Trump
when the citizens in their own states NEED help?

HOW DARE the MSM condone or at the least hide these problems when the country is hurting?

HOW DARE the MSM censor President Trump for being determined to clean up the liberal mess that has been going on over the last eight years or more.

WHY AREN’T THE CITIZENS in these states picketing against this travesty?
WHY AREN’T THEY up in arms and removing those who have caused this crap?

WHERE ARE THE LINES of people going from trial to prison?

especially when they have beggared the country to help people around the world!

  1. Wise Owl says:

I can see this makes you as angry as it makes me, Uriel. Liberalism is a mental disorder, yet they’re allowed to vote….

  2. bigbadblade says:

Liberalism is a mental disorder A great book by Micheal Savage.

  3. Uriel says:

haven’t read it bigbadblade but I may check it out although seeing mental disorder in action is bad enough.

  4. Wise Owl says:

Consider that rational/logical thought processes are the highest in the evolutionary scale, while emotional thought processes are shared with animals, and are primitive. Liberals choose to use emotional thinking, like a physically lazy person might want to ride in a scooter or wheelchair, rather than put forth the effort to walk. Liberals are too mentally lazy to use their brains for rational thought, and simply react. If something is black, scary, makes loud noises, it must be bad and should be banned. And, if someone looks sad, we must support them with taxpayer money… instead of– if anything– determining what prevents them from being self-sufficient. And so on.

Liberalism is mental laziness or mental inability to think rationally, which if you think about it, is a mental disorder or defect, just as muscle atrophy is the physical equivalent. Liberals may be DEvolving…. If you haven’t seen it, rent IDIOCRACY– a great satire on where this leads.

  5. GunnyG says:

This nation is screwed until we have a civil war and as they say, “make things aright.”

    • Uriel says:

I do wonder Gunny I believe that is what the globalists are itching to have happen though which makes me wonder why … weakened easy pickings?

  6. vonMesser says:

Sending a couple of photos to Nox of homeless camp under freeway in Seattle. Asking him to ad them to this comment. Seattle has had multiple rapes, murders, drug activities in these camps that the cops won’t even go into.

  7. Hardnox says:

Hypocrisy is the only thing the Left knows. “screw the country, we need voters”.

  8. Wise Owl says:

This battle is not between Democrats and Republicans, it is really WE, THE PEOPLE, against the corrupt establishment. Politicians are increasingly defying voters. Voters vote for someone/something, crooked politicians say their something is unconstitutional or illegal, or they smear the someone. I hate to say it, but it looks like this is exactly what the 2nd Amendment was created for. But, no one wants to plunge the country into an ugly civil war, so they just eat popcorn, watch bullshit sitcoms, and let it happen. So sad to see our great country going down the tubes.
