Trump’s Wall Prototypes Erected

Aerial footage captured the construction process of prototypes of US President Donald Trump’s signature campaign promise, the US-Mexico border wall, at a construction site near Otay Mesa Port of Entry in San Diego, California, Thursday.

They look pretty much the same; all the same height. One has the angled barbed wire protector at the top which would seem the most effective. How will they test the effectiveness of the prototypes; have a bunch of illegals sneak up to them at night and see if they can scale the walls? Do they get extra points for shortest time? Do they get to stay if they make it. Of course running around the ends doesn’t count.

I will not judge the walls but one of them – maybe more depending on conditions-will be built. After the magnanimous decisions, accomplishments,& success of TRUMP, you would be fool hardy to doubt. Among many other thinks he has major experience in concrete & steel construction.

From what I have learned, the push is precast and efficient site built wall sections. In other words, quick, cost-effective, quick and good.

I wouldn’t put it past DJT to use one or more types in different locations depending on the need. More bang for the buck.

  4. All look good except for one detail – the use of grappling hooks. All of these samples allow for the use of grappling hooks to scale them due to their square top edges and/or wire fencing.
What’s needed is a smooth, outward-facing curved top (like a candy cane) so as to eliminate the ability of a “hook” to fetch up on a clean edge and allow scaling.

Hadenough you have a criminal’s mind bwahaha it doesn’t matter what type they use if someone wants over, under, or through, I’m guessing they will find a way. Those have got to be the more expensive sales prototypes (except transportation like planes and such) in a very long time. BTW Hadenough all they need is to tie a rope ladder on a drone and send it over don’t you agree>>>>>

      • Hardnox says:

Funny you mention “criminal mind”. ūüôā

I’ve been an advocate of 13,200 volts along the top… solar powered of course. It’s doable. Much like a bug-zapper. Poof, they are gone. No need for any candy cane structures. ūüôā

Also, please note the open upper design features… once a ladder or rope is in place it’s easier for the BP to pick the invaders off.

      • I agree!
Having worked 12+ years of security, all facets, one has to “think” like a criminal to catch one. “How would I break in”?
No wall is impenetrable and no building “secure” without human intervention. That’s where CCTV, drones and seismic sensors come in. If we want security, we should talk to the Israelis.

    I still suggest a competition:
SeaBees start in San Diego California and obtain all their supplies from Home Depot.
Army Corps of Engineers start in Brownsville Texas and obtain their supplies from Lowe’s.
On Day 0 they start building a wall along the border.
    Prizes for
    Who built most wall
    Who built best wall
    Who built most effective wall
    Who built most “artistic” wall.
Who built least expensive per linear mile wall
    Who built fasted per-mile wall.
