The Blaze came out with an article in the last week talking about a newly passed law in California. As usual California legislature and Governor Brown are on the leading edge of “terminally stupid” and constitutionally unsound. This time it is about making a law that requires all people in the state to use the “proper” transgender preferred names in their nursing homes and immediate care facilities.
A bill that passed the California state senate and is now moving through the Assembly could threaten jail time for anyone who refuses to use a transgender person’s preferred pronoun.
The law is currently limited in its effects to nursing homes and intermediate-care facilities, but if passed, those who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” could be slapped with a $1,000 fine and up to one year in prison, according to the California Heath and Safety code. The state senate passed the bill 26-12 at the end of May. Since then, the Assembly Judiciary committee recommended the bill unanimously and the General Assembly held its first hearing on the legislation Wednesday.
Let that sink in a minute…
A caregiver can be fined or go to jail for repeatedly not using a “name” the transgender patient prefers. What a crock of horse manure.
I always thought when referring to someone in any legal capacity, the name required by law is their name as it appears on their birth certificate and legal signatures.
So is the next step for California to break the law and no longer require per legal codes of law how someone is to be addressed? Any Tully, Dumbo, or Tiger could call themselves anything they choose without going through the courts and voila….who decides in a “will” who the person is or if they are even in their right mind when filing the document? Or, who receives the death benefits if names don’t match legal document signatures? Or a whole list of other possibilities? That isn’t even counting that a person is wrongfully fined or put in jail for using a name that is not the proper address as it appears or they have been told.
Now going a much further step forward in this madness, Fox News interviewed a parent of a FIRST GRADER. The child was sent to the office and reprimanded for not using a “new name” for a young classmate that just the year before was known as “xxxx”.
A first grader at a California charter school was sent to the principal’s office this week after she accidentally “misgendered” a classmate in what’s being called a “pronoun mishap.”
First, elementary and younger students are being “transgender” storied and warped in their school lesson plans. Now THIS?
Some arsewipe decided at the very tender age of six, their child should have a new gender name of the “opposite” sex because the CHILD WAS REALLY A TRANSGENDER??????? WTF IS GOING ON HERE? Did that parent present proper medical documentation to the school that backs up their “decision” to do a name change? If not then, the parent and the school is at fault not the little six year old who was sent to the principal’s office.
THESE PEOPLE ARE FRIGGING NUTS! As a retired elementary teacher, I can think of no time in my teaching career when a young child “identified” as the opposite sex voluntarily except simply in play. They had to be TAUGHT that stupidity. Every child experiments with or at times plays with toys that are generally considered “gender specific” but it DOES NOT mean that child is physically or psychologically only identifying as a member of that sex. ONLY a qualified group of doctors can make a determination in specific and generally few cases that biologically something is different .
A parent, a school, nor some government dimwit should not be messing with a child’s mind in that way. If they are the PARENT or adult–not the CHILD–needs to be mentally evaluated.
If the term Transgender is now being applied across the board to every one of the fifteen or more homosexual designations currently in vogue….then it is past time to reevaluate the whole thing. A true transgender is a medical issue not a trendy new toy. Maybe hormones in the foods we eat or environmental issues need to be considered rather than simply altering a mindset. In that case, I could agree…IF that person were old enough to determine his/her discomfort with a physical gender and had been tested for issues. Otherwise all this is nothing more than garbage in/garbage out, trend in/trend out.
“Transgender individuals are those who identify with a gender that differs from their assigned sex. This is a facet of identity that is completely distinct from sexual orientation.” Between the (Gender) Lines: the Science of Transgender Identity – Harvard , October 2016.
The transgender identity has long been associated with poor mental health, particularly the diagnoses of “gender identity disorder” and “gender dysphoria.” …the World Health Organization is actively working towards declassifying transgender identity as a mental disorder. (and here is the crux of the matter—WHO=United Nations=NWO, helllllooooooo folks)
…about 1.7% of the population is in some way affected by cases of ambiguous genitalia at birth…
(Let’s be this clear–this is determined by a MEDICAL DOCTOR not a random person on the street no matter the letters behind their name nor some law which is not well thought out.)
This has all gone too far.
Schools and government are now making the assumption that THEY have enough medical degrees and psychological skills to allow some sick individual to remake a child’s life without proof from someone who has done extensive analysis of the child’s physical changes and mental attitude–all because “it” is a current trend in social stupidity? Or they can eliminate the First Amendment rights of people who disagree and throw them in prison for not following a trend that is far outside the bounds of constitutional laws, common sense, or good mental health? That is pure Marxism.
This is not about “elder abuse.” It is about abuse by those pushing transgender mania. It is about the “bullying” and intentional subversion of our genders and the roles they play which is currently trending from non-medical people for subjective reasons–rather than medically determined reasons. It is absolutely unwarranted, should be challenged, and ill-advised not only for current adult generations but extensively studied for long-term effects within future generations.
As usual, these people are not looking at a bigger picture but their own little twitches, toots, and twangs.
