“Bannon the Barbarian” set to Launch Conservative TV Network

Oh good… actually this is friggin great!

Steve Bannon got canned from the White House.  His last day was yesterday.  He is rejoining Breitbart where he was senior editor.  According to the Gateway Pundit, Bannon and Roger Ailes are about to launch a Conservative News Network.

From TGP:

Former Chief White House Strategist and current executive chairman of Breitbart News, Steve Bannon, is wasting no time in expanding the leading populist news network. Bannon is reportedly plotting a television channel to rival Fox News. Strikingly, the idea was first proposed by former Fox News CEO, the late Roger Ailes.

Axios reports:

Axios’ Jonathan Swan hears Bannon has told friends he sees a massive opening to the right of Fox News, raising the possibility that he’s going to start a network.

  • Bannon’s friends are speculating about whether it will be a standalone TV network, or online streaming only.

  • Before his death in May, Roger Ailes had sent word to Bannon that he wanted to start a channel together. Bannon loved the idea: He believes Fox is heading in a squishy, globalist direction as the Murdoch sons assume more power.

  • Now he has the means, motive and opportunity: His chief financial backer, Long Island hedge fund billionaire Bob Mercer, is ready to invest big in what’s coming next, including a huge overseas expansion of Breitbart News.

Axios has more:

Before Roger Ailes’ death on May 18, he expressed a final wish to some of his few remaining confidants: to get back in the game, with a conservative network that would position itself to the right of Fox News, as his baby became more moderate under the next generation of Murdoch leadership.

In his final days, Ailes sent a message to Steve Bannon in the White House that he’d love to team up on a new conservative media powerhouse.

  • What we hear: Bannon, who otherwise would have been intrigued by the notion, had no desire to leave the White House. So Ailes’ last big idea remained just that.

Steve Bannon returned ‘home’ to Breitbart News as Executive Chairman Friday afternoon shortly after it was announced that he departed from the White House as Chief Strategist to President Trump.

Steve Bannon returned to Breitbart on Friday and chaired the company’s evening editorial meeting.

Breitbart News reported:

Former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon returned as Executive Chairman of Breitbart News Friday afternoon and chaired the company’s evening editorial meeting.

“The populist-nationalist movement got a lot stronger today,” said Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow. “Breitbart gained an executive chairman with his finger on the pulse of the Trump agenda.”

Breitbart News CEO and President Larry Solov agreed.
“Breitbart’s pace of global expansion will only accelerate with Steve back,” said Solov. “The sky’s the limit.”

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Bannon issued the following warning:

If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents — on capitol hill, in the media, and in corporate America,”Bannon said Friday in an interview hours after his departure was announced by the administration.

TGP also reported Breitbart News is plotting to go ‘thermonuclear’ against ‘globalists’ inside the Trump administration. Bannon may also be personally gearing up to take on the Drudge Report’s Matt Drudge.

According to former Trump aide Sam Nunberg, Bannon believes Drudge ‘accelerated’ his White House exit driven by continuous negative coverage.

Just like the late great Andrew Breitbart said: WAR!

Winna Winna, Chicken Dinna!

Seems to me that this was well planned.  Bannon gets canned.  DJT has no fingerprints on the new network.  Then Bannon bashes the shit out of the Fake News and Establishment Swamp Hacks (both in and out of the administration).  Lefty and Establishment heads will explode.

Brace for impact.  It will be beautiful.

Hopefully, the likes of Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro, Andrew Napolitano, Tucker Carlson, Eric Bolling, Mark Steyn, and others will join up, and a solid conservative message can be broadcast for a change.  FOX can then go pound sand with the rest of the lefty media outlets.

Revenge is best served cold.

lol Hardnox I honestly believe this WAS planned. Bannon was taking too much flack in the WH and his combative spirit was seriously taking a beating. He can far better serve in an unrestricted setting to push Conservatives. Most all speculation out there except his own statement to press have been cooked in the liberal oven. I seriously have doubts that Trump has completely dropped him or his own platform– if only through back channels I believe Trump will be cheering him on.

    • Hardnox says:

We can bet that this has DJT’s full approval. 🙂

Bannon’s departure spells only one thing: the leftists in the WH have won Trump over. McMaster, Kelly, etc. have managed to get rid of many true right-wingers in the Administration. Bannon’s ouster (for that is what it was) was the coup de grace. The Obama-Hillary-DeepState camp as effectively won. Trump is in power still, but his entourage is left wing. Sad days.

Welcome to N&F Avi. You echo my first thoughts about Bannon’s departure but once he declared war on the media I came to believe differently. There’s no question Trump is surrounded with swamp creatures. Time will tell. Thanks for your visit.

This is good news. Uplifting after all the crap that has been going on. This is a much needed win for Trump. Any idea when?

  3. clyde says:

One thing about Bannon. He is NO squishy mofo. He is the squishor. Bwahahahaha. Can’t wait to see it come to life.

No, it was first proposed right here when we conservative watchers saw the channel drifting towards the left a while before Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly departed.
Please include a 1 hour time slot for Michelle Malkin. And don’t hire any other eye candy unless their heads are screwed on right.
Why not offer both a TV channel and streaming internet simultaneously?
There is nothing I would like better that to see FoxNews in the dust bin.
Two thumbs up on Lou Dobbs.

Oh boy, I can’t wait for a whole new real conservative channel.

  7. vonmesser says:

MAYBE they can create a conservative social media to counter Facebook, YouTube, and PayPal.

  8. Popular Front says:

Sounds good, just what is needed to counterbalance the lefty media bullshit. If they’re wise they’ll establish a proper tv channel because there is an awful lot of folks out there who don’t ‘stream’, just like they don’t tweet twerk or faecebook.

    • Hardnox says:

My understanding is that is in the works.

It’s no small wonder why blogs have become so popular. I hope this new channel makes their videos available for blogs to broadcast.

  9. Wise Owl says:

I love it! Indeed, it would be SO cool for Hannity, Jeanine, Carlson, Dobbs, Watters, and others to bail on FOX, which has been going to the left, thanks to the Murdoch kids’ progressive wives, and have a REAL and truthful network! I’d drop FOX like a hotcake if so! We NEED a truthful news network on TELEVISION. OANN is just online, right now. So far, they’re netter than any of the MSM, but need to be on Cable.

    • Hardnox says:

They all have contracts so a quick departure won’t happen. Hannity is none too happy with the Murdock kids.

I like OANN but I wish they would publish segments instead of whole shows. If they did I would post them here.

    • Terry says:

OANN is on my cable (ATT U-Verse). Check with your provider.

I’d like to know the entire story behind his, “…getting canned…” by Trump.
