Union Goons Get The Shaft

Before we get to the LOMFAO! let us review how Unions, parasites that they are, have destroyed or nearly destroyed their hosts.

The Steel Industry: Destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time.

The Big Three Automobile Industry: Destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time.

The Coal Industry: Nearly destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time.

The Airlines:  Destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time.

The Railroads: Destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time.

Education: Destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time. Also involved, greed and lowered standards for Teachers, thanks to the Unions.

Government workers: Destroying America like a bloated pig gorging itself on a never ending funnel of tax dollars down their throats.

Longshoremen: Nearly destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time. Also at work, corruption, theft, and the Mob.

Merchant Fleet:  Nearly destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time. Also at work here is stupid Government Red Tape thanks to decades of dumbass Democrats in Congress and their RINO asskissing enablers.

The textile industry: Nearly destroyed by union goons demanding higher and higher wages and benefits, no matter the economic climate at the time. Also at work are mountains of red tape pushed through by Unions.

BTW, the SEIU is full of illegal aliens and they could not give a shit. Why? Two words. Union Dues.

Now for the Nyah! Nyah! Nyah! Nyahs!

EXCERPT:  “The indictment, unsealed last week, describes the alleged illegal dealings of former FCA labor relations chief Alphons Iacobelli, deceased UAW Vice President General Holiefield and his widow, Monica Morgan, a prominent Detroit photographer. Morgan will be arraigned in a Detroit federal court today, July 31. Iacobelli will be arraigned Tuesday, Aug. 1.

Federal investigators claim the three were at the center of a conspiracy from 2009 through 2014 that included Iacobelli personally pocketing $1 million and helping funnel $1.2 million from the UAW- Chrysler National Training Center to Holiefield, Morgan and other high-ranking members of the union.

The indictment specifically mentions at least eight unnamed people while vaguely mentioning “other” groups of people. Separately, federal officials announced fraud charges against former FCA financial analyst Jerome Durden, who is accused of creating false tax returns to hide payments to Holiefield, Iacobelli and other beneficiaries who were not identified.

More could be charged,” said Peter Henning, a former federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C., and professor at Wayne State University Law School. Henning said it’s typical in investigations such as these for additional witnesses, informants and co-conspirators to be named after the initial round of arraignments.”

What did Alphons Iacobelli get?

• A $350,000 Ferrari 458 Spider
• Lease on a private jet
• 2 limited-edition Mont Blanc pens costing $37,500 each
• A $96,000 swimming pool, outdoor kitchen and outdoor spa at his home in Rochester Hills, Mich.
• $73,000 in landscaping
• More than $300,000 in personal credit card expenses
• Paid off a relative’s student loan for $44,491

AW Vice President General Holiefield and his widow, Monica Morgan?

HolThey nabbed…

Paid off the $262,219.71 mortgage on their Harrison Township, Mich., home. Less than a year later, Morgan took out a new mortgage for $130,000.
• Credit card charges of $200,000 for jewelry, designer clothes and furniture
• $30,000 in airfare for San Diego, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles
• 4 nights at the Beverly Hills Hotel for $3,100 per night

And the UAW’s reply:  “The UAW has zero tolerance for corruption or wrongdoing of this kind at any level”

Unionspeak for: “dammit, we got caught.” Evidently they didn’t get the memo that Obama and his corrupt DOJ under Holder/Lynch was no longer there to cover for them.

Proof why they side with the liberals. Birds of a feather and all. Fill up the jails. Put them where they can find a girlfriend.

  2. Popular Front says:

All of those fatally weakened industries are mirrored in Australia, brought to their knees by boneheaded unionism for the same selfish reasons. Once we had a thriving manufacturing industry and we produced practically everything ourselves. Gone now, all gone leaving us relying on cheap Chinese made crap.

(Just as a side note, ‘Mont Blanc pens costing $37.5K’? You’re fuqin kidding me right? What’s wrong with a good old Biro?)

  3. Uriel says:

lol My question too Popular only here they are called Bics…. I wonder what all those union bosses who met Trump in the Oval Office are thinking about now?

    • Popular Front says:

Yep Uriel that’s them, the good old Bic Biro. Just as good as any other and performs the exact same function.

As you may have guessed, I’m not into jewellery and ostentation; to me that represents narcissism. (especially when you are bilking union member’s funds to pay for it)

Holyfield was always a damned crook. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Same shit happened at the other companies as well. More to come.

You cannot pin steel’s US failure on labor alone. As a Pittsburgh native and a bit of a historian on the steel industry, I must point out that there were at least two more causes of the failure of Big Steel in America in the 1970s. First was idiotic management, who took a typical Wall Street, quarterly-profits-oriented approach to running the mills. Steel plants were seen as mo more than an “asset” in a “portfolio”. Companies like USS became USX, remember, and put their main emphasis on milking the most revenues out of ancient, dilapidated physical plant. There was near-zero reinvestment in the mills during that critical decade; the Germans, Russians, Brazilians, Indians ate our technological lunch by introducing continuous casters in their mills.

    continued below….

  6. SafeSpace says:

continued…. And then, the US government nodded and winked when mills from those countries began dumping steel in the US market. To this day I do not know who was profiting from this arrangement, but someone in gummint must have made a fortune by conspiring to allow US steel companies to collapse as our markets were being flooded with imports.

The US was home to at least two EMPLOYEE-OWNED small steel mills that installed state-of-the-art continuous casting technology. One was Nucor, the other Georgetown Steel in SC. There were a few small mills in Canada as well. But even though the product was excellent and the pricing good, these mills could not compete against dumped foreign steel.

Knowing a bit about the seven, 12 hour workday weeks that prevailed in Carnegie’s mills as recently as the 1920s, I cannot completely deny the rationale for unionization of the steel industry.

Unions have been a giant problem much longer than they were of any benefit.

As someone who had a run in with the UAW, I can’t tell you how much this warms the cockles of my heart.
When I was a child in the 1950s I remember reading stories in the Readers Digest about the longshoremen and the truckers unions and the troubles they caused when they went on strike. I concluded they were not a classy bunch.

In the 1980s I had a job that required membership in the UAW. Three times I told the union reps I did not want to join their union. (No sign, no job in my state)
They went on strike after I was there two years. They told me to report for picket duty. I told them to KMA. FU. I was not going to picket a company I did not have a beef with. And no way in hell was I going to get out of bed in the middle of the night to do it either.
I parked off premises and ended up getting screws in my tires. Then I found a non-union job.

  9. Hardnox says:

Frankly, anyone who supports unions these days is a fool. Their time has passed. Now it’s just corrupt as the businesses they opposed. The unions are nothing more that leftist kleptocrats.
