Calling Out Republican Congressional Members On Military Readiness vs Transgenders

Is your Republican Senator involved in this? Where is the outrage and your emails scorching the earth? They can’t get nominations through or Obamacare handled but they can use military funds to PAY for transgender changes? How about we start docking their pay for wasting our tax dollars and lack of common sense? Pentagon needs a serious scrub down and those who are not “military might oriented” purged. Again we see the Obama era Deep State stamp on a vital organization that has to be addressed.

Here are 24 Republicans who voted to have Uncle Sam pay
for transgender surgeries & hormone therapy

If you thought a Republican-controlled government might at least rein in some of the excessive, insane, Obama-era social experimentation being imposed on the United States military, you’d be sadly mistaken.

Because on Thursday, the House of Representatives voted 214-209 to reject an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would have banned the Pentagon from paying for surgeries and hormone therapy for mentally disturbed individuals who are confused about what sex they are.

The kicker? Twenty-four Republicans, including supposedly fiscally-conservative libertarian Justin Amash, made this travesty possible by bucking their party and voting with the united Democrats.

The amendment, proposed by Missouri Rep. Vicky Hartzler, would have saved upwards of $1.3 billion over the next decade but hey, turning girls into boys and boys into girls is the least Uncle Sam can do for its “gender-confused” members.

It’s not like there aren’t more important things to spend the money on, right?

“This is about addressing [North] Korea, Russia, ISIS,” Hartzler said during the debate. “We need every defense dollar to go to meeting those threats, not anything else, and we need to make sure our troops are ready and can be deployed.”

In June, Hartzler said: “The Obama transgender policy, which was implemented without input from Members of Congress, is ill-conceived and contrary to our goals of increasing troop readiness and investing defense dollars into addressing budget shortfalls of the past. By recruiting and allowing transgender individuals to serve in our military we are subjecting taxpayers to high medical costs including up to $130,000 per transition surgery, lifetime hormone treatments, and additional surgeries to address the high percentage of individuals who experience complications.”

“The deployability of individuals going through the sex transition process is highly problematic,” Hartzler continued. “requiring 210 to 238 work days where a soldier is non-deployable after surgery. This recovery time equates to 1.4 million manpower days where transgender personnel cannot deploy and fight our nation’s wars, therefore relying on an already stressed force to pick up the burden. It makes no sense to purposely recruit individuals who cannot serve.”

California Rep. Duncan Hunter called opposition to Hartzler’s amendment “silly” because, well, people should “figure out if you’re a man or a woman before you join up.”

Too obvious for libs, who called the amendment “ignorant, mean-spirited and denigrating” and said it would “would reduce military readiness” because it would discourage transgenders from serving. Nevermind that, according to the RAND Corporation, there are upwards of 6,630 transgender people in the military – not quite enough to make a single division.

Oddly enough, one factor that might have led some of the 24 Republicans to oppose the amendment was Defense Secretary James Mattis’s personal call to Hartzler before the vote urging her to pull the amendment. This tidbit was told to the Huffington Post by a senior House Democratic aide, but hasn’t been confirmed otherwise as of this writing.

So, who are the RINOs who voted against the Amendment? Check out the names below and, if they are in your district, feel free to do what you can to “primary” them out of office!

Mark these as RINOS in bed with the liberals:

Justin Amash (Michigan)
Jack Bergman (Michigan)
Mike Coffman (Colorado)
Barbara Comstock (Virginia)
Paul Cook (California)
Ryan Costello (Pennsylvania)
Carlos Curbelo (Florida)

It makes sense though in a weird way as we look at where these lamebrains are from — these all are or have been Democrat stronghold states. Now it seems they have dressed their representatives up to look like Republicans: Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Florida, Colorado

If you guys and the Pentagon can use OUR taxpayer money to destroy the military then YOU can return your paychecks to the government to COVER THOSE COSTS.

There is no place in the military for those who are not there to protect and defend our country immediately whenever called. There is no place in the military for those that blow hot and cold whenever they see a fad. There is no place there for those that would get true soldiers and patriotic people who are in dangerous situations killed. There is no place in ANY branch of the military for Obama’s “candy arses.”

Families send their members off each deployment to dangerous and hazardous situations.

Those people deserve to know that their member is part of a strong command and unit who will have their backs come hell or high water.

They deserve to know their member will return to them God willing whole and healthy because ALL of the soldiers in their deployment have nothing on their minds but the assignment and their buddies’ safety.

This cannot be even remotely guaranteed when someone is more interested in their “sex” than the tasks at hand.

If the only reason these people joined was to smear crap on our national security efforts and get their dysfunctional needs met then……………………………………………….

I have no problem with someone who wants to surgically/chemically alter their bodies to match their gender perception, but in the MILITARY? Requiring special bathrooms? Special rights? Have we lost our minds?????

  2. Shar says:

I was just getting ready to send this post to Nox. Great minds think a like….lol. It blows my mind what the GOPe thinks matters to the American people. They clearly have no idea why we voted for Trump.

  3. captbogus2 says:

By wanting to mutilate their bodies with surgically removing sex organs should be proof enough that person is psychologically unfit for military service and should be granted a General Discharge post haste.

    • Uriel says:

true capt to me just like plastic surgery for “enhancement” it takes a warped or addictive mind to go through with that stuff

  4. Popular Front says:

Take a look at that list of limp dicks (sorry) and compare it to the list of ‘Best Run States’ from the other day and note some similarities in US geography. It sure jumps out at me.

The only thing these freaks qualify is for a Section Eight.
