Pelosi – Finding Out How Dr. Frankenstein Felt

This is irony at its best and worthy of an SNL skit…

OUCH! Nancy Pelosi is going to have a hard time coming back from what just happened to her…

Things on the home turf are getting tough for San Fran Nan. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was heckled and jeered at a town hall meeting over the weekend in her home town of San Francisco. But Pelosi was not shouted down by rabid right-wing conservatives as the left-leaning media would have us believe (are there any such people in San Francisco?). No, she was hollered at by members of the same group who shout down everyone — young, entitlement-minded, socialist snowflakes. The very people Pelosi has helped create and coddle.

Oh the irony.

At issue here is the Pelosis and Sanders’ of the world have done such a good job of selling these young people on the notion that everything — including their healthcare insurance — should be ‘free’ and administered by massive government programs. And, when those programs don’t deliver said free goodies these young’uns begin to revolt.

The Blaze reported this meltdown of a joint town hall meeting featuring both Pelosi and Represntative Jackie Speier, another San Francisco area liberal Democrat:

“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was heckled by protesters over the weekend during a town hall with constituents in San Francisco — and her frustration was apparent.

Pelosi appeared at Balboa High School in San Francisco, along with Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.), to discuss the fate of the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare, Russia’s interference in the U.S. elections, and climate change.

One of the most tense moments came as Pelosi was asked about health care. Pelosi was Speaker of the House when Obamacare passed in 2010. At the time, she was a proponent of moving toward a single-payer health care system, but after it became clear that such a bill couldn’t pass the Democratic-controlled House and Senate, Democrats settled for an “individual mandate” based plan instead. The result was the Affordable Care Act…

Despite previous previous efforts at the federal level to move to a single-payer system, however, protesters in Pelosi’s liberal San Francisco district came out in full force Saturday to continue to advocate for socialized medicine. Pelosi tried to defend her progressive stance on the issue, but protesters weren’t satisfied

“I have been — as I said to my colleagues — I was on the streets holding signs for single-payer 30 years ago before I ever went to Congress,” Pelosi said.

Hecklers then began shouting inaudible comments. Pelosi responded with a confused face, saying, “I’m sorry?”

Pelosi continued: “The Affordable Care Act, in certain respects, we have gone to the left of Medicare for all.”

Again, protesters erupted with inaudible remarks. At that point, Pelosi was clearly perturbed: “Yes, yes, yes. Do you want to listen or do just want to speak?…We tried to mitigate by not getting single payer or public option by putting as many benefits in the bill as possible and one of them — listen up — is catastrophic coverage.”

For a third time, protesters interrupted Pelosi with comments that were not clearly heard. “I have always supported that,” Pelosi assured the questioners.”

Get that? So here is socialist Pelosi’s socialist base (rudely) expressing their displeasure with her inability to deliver them enough socialism and Pelosi saying ‘Hey, I tried. We got you as close as we could.’ Which wasn’t nearly enough for them.

Pelosi then closed the exchange with an eye-opening bit of truth that was most likely lost on the young snowflakes. Born in 1940 the near 80-year-old Congresswoman — who has held elected office for over 30 years — quipped, “I have been supporting it since before you were born.”

Yep, that’s right. Like Hillary, Bernie and the rest she’s been “fighting for and supporting the things you want for decades” and you still don’t have them. Yet you’ll keep on electing the same people over and over again, trapped inside a real-life version of the definition of insanity.

When freebies stop flowing and there is no money left in the coffer — what do these idiots think they will do?

In the local news channel version the left-leaning message was of course the only thing highlighted – SINGLE PAYER OPTION. And, not just by the young but much older adults who absolutely should know better.

I am a firm believer in old adages:

  • Treat others as you would have them treat you…
  • What goes round, comes round…..
  • You reap what you sow….
  • Stupidity is as stupidity does…
  • Monsters will turn on their creators…
  • A mind is a terrible thing to waste, propagandizing is not educating…
  • A brain full of drugs is like a pan of softly scrambled eggs – useless

  1. Here’s another old adage, and it’s my favorite.
“There is no such thing as a free lunch.”

  2. Hardnox says:

In the end, Pelosi learned nothing which is no surprise to anyone. What I learned however is that her constituents are pissed… and that’s a good thing.

A person reentering infancy is far too gone to notice. I got the same feeling from them as well Hardnox. Isn’t it odd though how even back in the Sixties that for the most part those who dived into Communism so readily were also from the rich and privileged? Aside from Blacks who at that time had a real grievance

      • Hardnox says:

It is odd. I think this mental illness also stems from the guilt of their inheritance knowing how their wealth was created by their forefathers. Now communism is a religion for the privileged as it is antithetical to capitalism. Of course, these imbeciles all believe their wealth will remain untouched should their dreams become realized.

The idiocy of blacks embracing communism is absurd given this political model has created a thousand times more slaves than has ever existed.

  3. Sun Tzu says:

I disagree, a pan full of scrambled eggs is not useless, that’s a start to a good breakfast….add some sausage and hash browns with toast and you have a good start to the day!

    • Uriel says:

Lol Sun Tzu. In my world softly scrambled is still mostly clear and barely egg broke. Neither a good incubator nor a good meal. In some animal groups that is a good meal though. As to your breakfast. Heck yeah the start of a great day. Happy weekend to you,

  4. Shar says:

Hardnox, Pelosi learned nothing because she thinks she is superior to us. I think if repeal and replace fails, all of Congress should be put on it. You watch that sucker get fixed quickly. Nancy hecklers were nothing compared to the GOP town halls.

    • Uriel says:

True Shar. This was not the first hecklers for Dems though. Schumer came in for his share as well. My feelings are that it will get worse for all congress soon

  5. Shar says:

Uriel, that would be great. It’s about time they stepped out in the real world instead of the Washington bubble.

    • Uriel says:

Agreed. What will be funny is to watch the Dem meltdown if all that shouting and crap is directed at them.
