Hawaii Judge Again Blocks Travel Ban – Coincidence

Even though the latest executive order from Trump is nearly airtight concerning immigration and travel ban including a lot of examples, a judge in Hawaii has decided to defy him and issue a nation-wide travel ban again. Additionally a Maryland judge issued a more restrictive version one day later. This has a few patriotic conservative reporting sites’ eyebrows raised — why? Obama just “happened” to have been visiting Hawaii a day before the judge made his ruling.

A federal judge in Hawaii has blocked the major provisions of President Trump’s revised ban on refugee resettlement and travel from six predominantly Muslim countries, hours before the executive order was to take effect.

The decision struck down, at least temporarily, the Trump administration’s attempt to pause all refugee resettlement for 120 days and block citizens of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the U.S. for 90 days.

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson said his ruling applies nationwide  (March 15th). It appears to set the stage for a battle in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which last month upheld a ruling blocking Trump’s original travel ban.

Ruling separately in a Maryland federal court Thursday (March 16th), U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang issued a more limited order halting the travel ban. Chuang’s ruling focused on blocking the ban’s provision that paused immigration from the six countries.

Speaking at a rally in Nashville on Wednesday after the court decision landed, Trump said it was a “terrible ruling” that “makes us look weak.” He called it “unprecedented judicial overreach” and vowed to “take our case as far as it needs to go, including all the way up to the Supreme Court.”

ASSOCIATED PRESS:  Former President Barack Obama accompanied by former first lady Michelle Obama leaves the National Gallery of Art in Washington on March 5. Obama returned to Honolulu today and was spotted at Buzz’s Lanikai.

Coming off a string of high-profile meetings, former President Barack Obama made an unannounced return to Hawaii Monday.

Just three months removed from his last official holiday visit as president, Obama was spotted dining at Buzz’s Lanikai Monday night.

Earlier in the day, Obama met with tech executives at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.

On Friday, Obama and wife Michelle had lunch with U2 frontman Bono and his daughter Jordan Hewson at the Upland restaurant in New York.

Two days later, Obama had lunch with billionaire Warren Buffett and his daughter, Susie, at the Happy Hollow Country Club in Omaha, Neb.

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson in Hawaii – received Juris Doctor in 1991 from Harvard Law School, graduating the same year as President Obama. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Hawaii from 2007 to 2013 and served as Chief of the Civil Division from 2009 to 2013. Obama appointed him to be US District Judge 2012 and confirmed on February 14, 2013.

U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang in Maryland –  He graduated Harvard with his B.A., summa cum laude in 1991 and his J.D., magna cum laude in 1994 from Harvard Law School, where he was an Editor of the Harvard Law Review. From 2007 to 2009, he was Deputy Chief Investigative Counsel for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee under newly installed Chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA). In 2009, he was Chief Investigative Counsel for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce again under Waxman. From 2009 till his confirmation as a federal judge in 2014, he served in the General Counsel’s Office of the United States Department of Homeland Security under Janet Napolitano.

I just do not believe in “coincidences” with politicians — the ties that bind are too strong. With Obama determined to be against Trump and his partners in crime falling slavishly in step for eight years and now more, this stinks to high heaven. When one starts examining DC political relationships, it is too easy to see how certain actions and counter-actions happen. Why for Pete’s sake would Obama be flying willy-nilly across the continent, meeting with high level financiers and Silicon Valley folks who all have expressed disdain and promised disruption in any way possible of the current president’s cabinet and agenda? Then conveniently on a moment’s notice jump over to Hawaii for a brief visit and suddenly a second ban is challenged and halted?

Notice both judges were classmates and I am guessing if truth be told their decisions lined up perfectly with Obama’s agenda.

So you decide…the swamp rats are determined to gnaw away but to what end? That is the real question. Obama can not serve another term so what is his end game?  President of the Western Hemisphere for the One World Government? or Western Hemisphere Islamabod?

Send a few thousand “refugees” to Hawaii so they can live in the judge’s back yard.

  2. SafeSpace says:

How is it that ANY federal district judge can stay an executive order? What is their standing to do so? How can such an obviously un-Constitutional interference with the separation of powers be taken seriously, let alone treated as “law”?

    • Uriel says:

I have a question on that as well SafeSpace. We need a reputable federal lawyer or judge to answer. However don’t forget it was Hamlin that saved our bacon on Obamas illegal activities sooooo maybe they can

  3. malenurseken says:

There should be a way to check if obumma met with the judge. If so lets bury obumma

    • Uriel says:

Actually (I have no idea how accurate) but one person did tweet that question upon seeing them at a meal in a restaurant as they were eating.

    Coincidence? Not a remote chance.
