NYT – Obama Admin Rushed To Preserve Russian Hacking Info

This hit the media waves Three Days before Trump tweets so lets consider it —

Obama Administration Rushed to Preserve Intelligence of Russian Election Hacking

New York Times

MARCH 1, 2017

WASHINGTON — In the Obama administration’s last days, some White House officials scrambled to spread information about Russian efforts to undermine the presidential election — and about possible contacts between associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Russians — across the government. ( who, what, and to whom was the information spread?)

Former American officials say they had two aims: to ensure that such meddling isn’t duplicated in future American or European elections, and to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators. (future American or European – talk about hypocritical when foreign governments had been pointing the finger at the Obama administration for doing just that) (clear trail of intelligence as in classified documents which is a felony?)

American allies, including the British and the Dutch, had provided information describing meetings in European cities between Russian officials — and others close to Russia’s president, Vladimir V. Putin — and associates of President-elect Trump, according to three former American officials who requested anonymity in discussing classified intelligence. (former American officals who had Access to classified intelligence and voluntarily disseminated that classified information to the media? wow so those people committed a criminal act in providing information to the media, Who and when will they be prosecuted as well as the reporters who took that classified information and printed it?)

Separately, American intelligence agencies had intercepted communications of Russian officials, some of them within the Kremlin, discussing contacts with Trump associates. (how do these reporters know that the communications were intercepted and which agencies received the classified information?)

The disclosures about the contacts came as new questions were raised about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s ties to the Russians. According to a former senior American official, he met with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, twice in the past year. The details of the meetings were not clear, but the contact appeared to contradict testimony Mr. Sessions provided Congress during his confirmation hearing in January when he said he “did not have communications with the Russians.”(I don’t see any mention of others including Democrats as part of their congressional duties and the President also meeting with the Russian Ambassador though we know that they did. Typical alteration of facts to fit their point of view and attack. Pure smear campaign.)

In case Obama thinks to deny this article’s premise:

CNN  – “Obama orders review of Russian election-related hacking”- Dec. 9, 2016.

Obama Presidential Memorandum Dec 5, 2016 — Steps for Increased Legal and Policy Transparency Concerning the United States Use of Military Force and Related National Security Operations

Obama Executive Order-Taking Additional Steps to Address the National Emergency with Respect to Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities Dec 29, 2016

American Liberty PAC – “Report: Obama admin broke federal law to preserve Trump-Russia narrative” March 2, 2017

From now on every article that hits the MSM headlines is suspect (as if we already weren’t aware of their fiction writing). We should tear every one of them down and publish reviews for all to see. Maybe then they will think before they write — nah that is doubtful. However, IF in fact their informants were discussing classified actions and intelligence then these reporters should be made examples of and be brought up on some charge concerning national security leaks.

Stories are out now that all this is BS about Russia hacking the election …..

Disgruntled operatives used technique to ensure Russia would be blamed

~The DNC hack was carried out by former NSA officials who wanted to expose Hillary Clinton, but then it was made to look as if the Russians were responsible, according to former intelligence officer Lieutenant Colonel Tony Shaffer.

Appearing on Sean Hannity’s show last night, Shaffer told Hannity that the DNC hack and the Podesta email hack, which Democrats blamed on Russia, were actually carried out by disgruntled ex-intel officers who wanted to bring down Hillary Clinton.

Hannity asked Shaffer if the hack was carried out “using the malware techniques that they put the Russians’ fingerprints on, in other words you’re telling me this whole Russian story that the media’s been running with for months and months and months that it was our people that did it and they just put the fingerprints of the Russians on it?”

“That’s right,” responded Shaffer, adding, “the evidence is not that the Russians did it, the evidence is that a Russian tool was used….conserned Americans fed up with the Clintons doing things I think were the ones who actually got in there and broke the information out and gave it to Wikileaks.”

Shaffer’s claim that Russian fingperints could have been left on the attack to disguise the actual culprits is backed up by information released as part of Wikileaks’ ‘Vault 7’ document dump.

The documents reveal that the CIA collected a number of cyber-attack techniques under the codename Umbrage which were stolen from malware produced in other countries, including Russia.

“With UMBRAGE and related projects the CIA cannot only increase its total number of attack types but also misdirect attribution by leaving behind the “fingerprints” of the groups that the attack techniques were stolen from,” reported Wikilekas.

Fix Is In: House Committee on ‘Russian Hacking’ Includes Only DNC-Hired Tech Experts

Excerpt… A list of witnesses scheduled to appear at a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Open Hearing on “Russian Active Measures” contains a glaring problem: the only technical experts scheduled to testify are from CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike is a firm hired by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and has become the primary source of the narrative about “Russian hacking” of the 2016 election and has acted as a mouthpiece for the Democrats since last June.~ http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/03/09/house-committee-russian-hacking-includes-only-dnc-hired-tech-experts/

#Vault7: How the CIA steals hacking fingerprints to cover its tracks

Every hacking technique leaves a “fingerprint” which, when collated, can be used to connect different attacks and tie them to the same culprit.

The CIA’s Remote Development Branch (RDB)’s Umbrage sub-group collects an archive of hacking exploits created by other actors, like Russia and other hackers, and leaves this false trace for others to detect.
Umbrage captures and collects keyloggers, passwords, webcam captures, data destruction, persistence, privilege escalation, stealth, anti-virus (PSP) avoidance and survey techniques.

This allows the CIA to not only steal other’s hack techniques, but falsely apportion blame to those actors.
In the case of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) hack, which reports have connected to Russia, the fingerprints used to link blame to Russian hackers may have been manipulated.

Isn’t it funny how stupid gets stupider when confronted

LMAO! Yep! I don’t know why that is exactly but it does happen more often than not! I don’t understand the leftist mind at all…..it’s gotta be due to disease!

Looks like the Left’s bullshit story is falling apart in plain view. These asshats never thought they would lose therefore their scheme would never have been disclosed much less explained away. Surprise!
