Sunday Feel Good Stories

Empire, CA. – Two people were robbed by three men and a woman about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday at Oregon Park, according to Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputies. The robbers all left the scene before officers arrived.  About twenty minutes later, a man was killed during a home-invasion robbery at a house in the Stanislaus County town of Empire, and although a teen was caught, two people remain outstanding, officers said Thursday.

Deputies found the man dead inside the home, and a 15-year-old boy was being detained by a homeowner, the department said.  A third man and a woman were seen leaving the home immediately after the shooting.  Homicide detectives discovered that the homeowner shot and killed the intruder during a struggle inside the home and was pronounced DRT.

Investigators believe the robbery at Oregon Park and the home invasion are connected and that the crimes were not random acts of violence.

He told them the man was attempting to rob him there in the parking lot.  Police said the alleged robbery victim, pulled out his gun when the suspect pointed his gun at him demanding his things. They both started shooting at each other, but the robbery victim managed to wound the suspect.  The robbery victim was not hurt, police said. The victim being robbed advised HPD that he had a concealed handgun license permit.

Foley, AL – Police say 20-year-old intruder Sedrick D. Jemison broke three doors with a pick-axe before entering the business, Elite Marine, in Foley.  The business owner, who also lives on the property, was awoken by a “loud crash” and retaliated with a gun. The intruder was rendered DRT.  No arrests have been made.  “The male subject entered his bedroom, wearing a black bandanna on his face and charging towards him, where the homeowner then fired his pistol,” Foley Police said in a press release.  “There are no charges against the homeowner as this appears to be a case of self defense.”

San Marcos, CA – A home invasion resulted in a DRT by sheriff’s deputies when a thug threatened the deputies with what he said was a Glock but turned out to be a butane torch instead.  No matter, a thug was erased for being both a criminal and a dumbass… but that’s a redundancy

When a thug breaks into your home and walks into your bedroom wearing a black bandanna and you shoot him dead, it doesn’t APPEAR” to be a case of self defense, it IS a case of self defense.
And if it was my bedroom he would probably have anywhere from 17 to 30+ holes in his carcass.

    Another fun week in DRTland.
The Foley, AL. one was in my neck of the woods. Good to see them get some publicity.
