In DeKalb County, Georgia, a store clerk identified as Alwyn Noronha was behind the counter at Happy’s Package Store on Rockbridge Road when a masked gunman later identified as 22-year-old Emmanuel Henry jumped over the counter and shot at Noronha at least 5 times. The report says Noronha returned fire hitting Henry three times. Surveillance video shows the gunman running out of the store before collapsing. He was transported to a local hospital where he expired DOT.
In Rising Sun, Indiana, another police officer owes his life to an armed citizen; a police officer got into an altercation with a man who shot the officer. A 32 year old woman passerby then shot the thug. The thug expired DOT at the hospital.
In Orange County, Florida; two men both in their early 20s, broke into a home shortly after 10:45 a.m. and pointed a gun at the homeowner’s head while making demands, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. The woman’s son ran to a bedroom to retrieve a gun and shot both intruders in self-defense. Investigators said the body of one of the intruders was found lying DOT in the front yard of the home, but the other man was able to make it to Winter Park Memorial Hospital and is in serious condition.
In Lancaster, California, two men smashed the front door of donut shop, ran past the counter and when an employee opened fire killing one robber DRT.
It was a light week… maybe the thugs are getting the memo.
