When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.
In what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington. He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular “America First” agenda.
He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.
Since Donald Trump’s election, this little-known but well-funded protesting arm has beefed up staff and ramped up recruitment of young liberal activists, declaring on its website, “We’re not backing down.” Determined to salvage Obama’s legacy, it’s drawing battle lines on immigration, ObamaCare, race relations and climate change.
Obama is intimately involved in OFA operations and even tweets from the group’s account. In fact, he gave marching orders to OFA foot soldiers following Trump’s upset victory.
“It is fine for everybody to feel stressed, sad, discouraged,” he said in a conference call from the White House. “But get over it.” He demanded they “move forward to protect what we’ve accomplished.”
“Now is the time for some organizing,” he said. “So don’t mope.”

Paul Sperry broke another article back on November 15, 2016 titled “How Obama is bankrolling a nonstop protest against invented outrage”.
“Now Obama is returning the favor of his Alinsky masters, training and cloning an army of social justice bullies to carry on his revolution to “fundamentally transform America.” He’s doing it mainly through a little-known but well-funded group called Organizing for Action, or OFA, which will outlast his administration.
OFA, formerly Obama for America, has trained more than 10,000 leftist organizers, who, in turn, are training more than 2 million youths in Alinsky street tactics.
The leftist group, which recently registered as a 501c4 nonprofit eligible for unlimited contributions, holds regular “organizing summits” on college campuses.
In addition, Obama has trained hundreds of thousands of junior agitators through AmeriCorps, a Clinton youth program he’s dramatically expanded, and through My Brother’s Keeper, the “racial justice” initiative he launched in the wake of the 2012 death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. My Brother’s Keeper agitates for “school discipline reform” — that is, touchy-feely alternatives to suspensions and expulsions — and other measures to “improve outcomes for boys and young men of color.”
“All three of these federally sponsored projects have crossover with the Black Lives Matter and Occupy Wall Street movements, both of which Obama embraces. They share manpower and resources, as well as radical agendas, while coordinating activities with nonprofit ACORN clones, who are being secretly bankrolled through Justice Department subprime settlement funds extracted from banks.” alleged Sperry.
So we know why young teenagers and college campuses are being flooded with riots and chaos; who is behind the riots – Obama is head of organizing; when – since 2009 or before; how funded – Justice Department funds as well as private backers like Soros and Muslim Brotherhood probably and we can guess purpose – to create a coup and take over the country — so when do these people get investigated and their government funding and organizations shut down?
Now you see why I say destroy the 501(c) IRS loophole for organizations.
Organizing for Action – is a nonprofit 5014 organization and community organizing project that advocates for the agenda of former U.S. President Barack Obama. OFA is committed to mobilizing and training the next generation of progressive organizers and leaders, because real, lasting change doesn’t just happen on its own—it requires a program, it requires organizing, and it requires people. It has more than 250 local chapters around the country according to its website.
Founded: January 18, 2013 Headquarters: Illinois
Chairperson: Jim Messina Founders: Jim Messina, Michelle Obama
Jim Messina is a political adviser who was the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2011 where he was integral to the passage of the landmark health care and economic stimulus bills and served as the campaign manager for Obama’s successful 2012 re-election campaign. In January 2013, the Obama administration announced the launch of Organizing for Action, a new advocacy organization that will promote President Obama’s policies, with Jim Messina as national chair. That same year, Messina became Co-Chair of Priorities USA, the Super Pac backing Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President. In 2013, Messina also launched The Messina Group. In this role, Messina provides strategic consulting to political campaigns, advocacy organizations and businesses. He sits on the boards of HyperLoop Technologies, LanzaTech, Vectra Networks, Privacy.com, and the United States Soccer Foundation. He also serves on the advisory boards of Beepi, Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects Group, Opower, and the Montana Land Reliance.
Organizing for America – The formation of Organizing for America was announced by then-President-Elect Obama on January 17, 2009. The organization’s activities originally centered around political activism in favor of Obama’s early legislative goals including the 2009 stimulus package and Democratic Party plans to reform the healthcare system. Another stated goal of OFA was alleviating perceived political apathy and increasing support for the Democratic Party. In preparation for President Obama’s second term. Organizing for America was composed of 50 different state organizations, united by a single national umbrella.
Acorn – has many small splinter groups after it was shut down in 2009. Its website is still up with an “investment” cover. Co-founder Wade Rathke told in an email that the shutdown did not destroy the successors of ACORN. “The purpose of the language is to ‘chill’ private and public sources and intimidate potential funding,” wrote Rathke. “It has not affected ACORN International because we are a dues-based membership organization. Certainly, in these polarized times something of such marginal and specious legality, [it] continues to be problematic, even if it is impossible to prove the negative. If a former ACORN organization is not funded, rarely are the reasons given. But, the work of ACORN in the 20 countries where we are active goes on unabated and unaffected.”
AmeriCorps is a civil society program supported by the U.S. federal government, foundations, corporations, and other donors engaging adults in public service work with a goal of “helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.” It was founded in 1993. Since the program’s founding in 1994, almost 1 million AmeriCorps members have contributed more than 1.4 billion hours in service across America while tackling pressing problems and mobilizing millions of volunteers for the organizations they serve.
