Why NATO Must

GO AWAY! Just one chart (below) says it all and it proves that The Donald was right once again.

Roughly NATO costs the US Taxpayer almost 650 BILLION A YEAR!

FACT:  Europe has over 400 MILLION (743M EU/318M USA 2015) more people than the USA so WHY are WE paying to protect these idiots?

FACT:  US GDP is 18T (Approx) and the EU GDP is 16.3T.

Again, WHY are we funding them? WHY do WE have to support bases there? WHy isn’t this money going to rebuild OUR infrastructure? OUR factories? OUR military only? NATO, like the UN, has outlived its purpose and needs to have a stake driven through its heart and buried.

One more question remains to asked. “WHO profits off of keeping NATO stocked and beating the “Russians are evil,” war drums? The Gunny wonders what stocks are in the portfolios of the likes of Dianne “MILCON” Feinswine, Juan McLame and his butt buddy Linda Grahamnesty, etc, etc., ad nauseum.

Use the 650B toward Obama’s debt to America. Trump will comb every department and find more waste. When he finally gets his cabinet in place there will be no stopping him Make America Great Again.

    Some interesting points.

  3. I agree about the Russian drumbeat but I don’t know that we can walk away from NATO without paying for it in the long run, we would end up back in Europe for WWIII. Just wonder if we wouldn’t be cutting off our nose to spite our face.

  4. clyde says:

Time for the bottom 20 to pony up or cut them off. Take the billions we give to the Useless Nabobs and keep it HERE.

  5. I.R. Wayright says:

NATO is useless. The biggest threat to those nations were let walk in to their respective territories.

This follows on from what I posted about the UN post-1945. The United States was the only nation to come through WW2 unscathed economically. The Brits were flat busted, Russia broke and Europe dependent on Marshall Plan aid. WW2 was the best thing that could have happened to the USA, financially speaking in the 1940s after the Great Depression. Arming and feeding the world turned America into the great economic powerhouse she became, the effects of which were still being seen on the early 70s.

Unfortunately nobody could or would take the decision to close the money faucet to the UN/NATO/EU/whoever and the Euroweenies were quite prepared to say nothing contrary and just let America pay for everything. That time has long since passed.

I don’t mind helping you out with a quick $50 if you need it but don’t keep coming back every week for more, especially when you drink at the same bar I do, know what I mean?

We’ve been saying it a long time here. NATO like the UN is beyond it “best buy” date. Time to let them take care of their own business.

PF nailed it with is comment. The spigot was turned on and never shut off. Eisenhower warned of the military/industrial complex in 1959.
