Sunday Feel Good Stories

Ya gotta watch this one:

In Beaumont, TX  a liquor store manager was approached by a man in the store who said, “give me all your money”.  The manager felt threatened and shot the man.

A woman in Las Vegas, NV thought people were trying to break into her home and called her neighbor.  A fight broke out with one of the suspects and  the neighbor shot him several times.  The suspect was DND (Dead the Next Day).

A homeowner in Joplin, MO shot an intruder who was carrying  a knife.  When police arrived the intruder was DRT (Dead Right There).

In St Paul, MN officers were called to respond to a home invasion.  Officers found one of the suspects DDR (Dead Down the Road) and the other was transported to the hospital.

People in San Jose, CA take their  Taco Bell-KFC seriously.   An armed man attempted to rob the store when customers attacked the robber and shot him with his own gun.

A cautionary tale; 65-year-old David Allen Pettersen of Madelia, Minnesota fired his .45 caliber pistol at several young burglars as they fled his property. 19-year-old Nicolas Thomas Embertson was killed in the gunfire. Petterson faces manslaughter charges as a result.

A homeowner in Richmond, Virginia interrupted a home invasion and burglary by shooting the thief in the arm.

Charles W. Casford, 33, a bar owner in DePue, Illinois, caught Jackie L. Popp, 42, looting the cash register after hours. Casford shot the thief in the leg when he charged Casford. According to the article, Popp has a fairly extensive criminal record.

In Lothian, Maryland, a man attempted to break into the home with the husband and wife still there, Limansky said. A confrontation ensued between the husband and the man, police said, when the husband fired off one shot from a handgun, striking him in the leg. The man then picked up a stray piece of metal to continue to attack the husband, police said, and the husband shot him again in the head. Limansky said the the shot to the head was not fatal and, after running away, the man came to rest in a field near the home.

In Alameda, California, Police say an off duty contra costa sheriff’s deputy was asleep inside this house when a man apparently tried to break in. The deputy woke up grabbed a gun and fired several shots. It’s not clear whether the intruder was shot inside or outside the house, but he ended up collapsing in the driveway DOT.
