Trump Considering Deporting Immigrants on Public Assistance

This is a great plan.  We don’t need leaches.

If one comes here and contributes to the betterment of themselves and the country… great.  If one is here to be a parasite and live off the rest of us then get the hell out.

  1. When my father came to this country, in ’48, he had a sponsor, a job and a place to stay BEFORE he was allowed in. Same thing happened to my mother.
What’s wrong with that concept being applied now?

In part I do agree. Yes it was the law that immigrants had to have a sponsor and job lined up before. That makes sense. However the problem is NOT with immigrants. The problem is two fold
    1) ILLEGALS who are receiving assistance through lax oversight and bribery they are benefiting just as those applying for help. Not all legal immigrants who apply or want to live here have help getting in or jobs. They come because there is Opportunity. Some may not have skills or be treated fairly but they dig in and willingly want to improve.
    2) don’t class immigrants with REFUGEES those have been set up by Obama with promises of all manner of assistance AND according to immigration laws have I think only three years before they have to return to their own country. Basically they are shipped in, plopped down in unfamiliar surroundings and turned loose to sink. THOSE are the ones to consider.
This I can’t go along with until I see the wording of his order. Those also have poor education, health, and working skills which can not translate to finding a job. That is like saying all dogs are dangerous and eliminating them all. It’s also a guaranteed fear factor to create more chaos.

    • I’m sorry but “illegals” are “illegally here” and qualify for NOTHING but deportation.
Immigrants, on the other hand, fall into a different category, entirely. They REQUEST” entry.

Refuge: “a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble.”

Refugees are yet another category and they are those who seek “refuge”. They are subject to repatriation once their country of origin is safe for their return.

The problem, as I see it, is that those in congress, and Americans, in general, have lost their grasp on the use of a friggin’ Dictionary. (Don’t include the left – they can’t even read)

What bothers me the most is THEY NEVER apply for citizenship. I wouldn’t have a problem at all, IF they would take classes to learn our history…then be tested to see if they pass or not.

Texas Govenor Greg Abbot had a great plan since you cannot possibly deport millions of Illegals.
I may have the numbers backwards; however, you will catch the drift.
IF you house an Illegal, it is a $10,000 fine for each illegals.
If YOU HIRE an Illegal, it is a $20,000 fine per Illegal..
A liberal judge shut him down.

P.S. E-Verify doesn’t work. Why? Companies won’t do it because they they work cheaper.

  3. I used the immigration system in 1986. Back then if you wanted to bring someone here you had to stipulate that the person would not become a ward of the state for a minimum of three years.

    Sounds fair to me.
