More leftist bullshit from the great spavined hunchback (LBJ’s description of him). JFK was the one who escalated America’s ground commitment to the Vietnam War when he deployed the Green Berets as ‘advisors’ followed by USAF support. LBJ inherited the rapidly growing conflict and made a total cock up of it, as expected.

I gotta agree with you on this one, Pop.

No offense, vM. I know this one may have been specific to the nuclear standoff or even Vietnam which had run its course, but in general, as an absolute statement, this is a quote that can only be made by a globalist or a fool. War cannot EVER be struck from the face of the earth as long as there is freedom. And “mankind” can not do anything. Anywhere. Individuals do everything, and that’s how God made us. The day that “mankind” acts with one voice is the day that Orwell’s pessimistic vision is achieved.

On another subject, Pop, I saw your comment over at Diogenes’ place this morning, where you were not happy with her mocking the Monarchy. I don’t blame you at all, Brother. I noticed that she didn’t accept your complaint as legit, but blamed you, instead, for not being “chill” enough. She’s kind that way.

And I wouldn’t take her word for it that she’s “half-scottish.” That’s just one part of various stories that she’s used to punk me and MadJack and others with, for years. Has she told you yet that she’s an actual princess? Yup. Father’s in the Peerage in line for the throne. More like a Game of Thrones. And Dad’s a rock star! But don’t take it too seriously. It’s an inside joke that provides some laughs for her and her buddies.

Hey—-somebody can be a total hypocrite and still tell the truth now and then.
