The march is today.
And it won’t make the Nightly News unless they compare sizes of the different crowds from last weekend.
Mike Pence is suppose to speak. If any thing the media will have it to criticize him.
We had a nice March for Life here in Olympia on Monday. About 3,000 attended the Catholic Mass at Saint Martin’s University, and they were joined later at the state capitol by several thousand more (mostly protestants) who did not come to the Catholic services. The Knights of Columbus served a meal of soup and hot dogs afterwards to a few thousand people.
I’ll bet it went off very peacefully too. No chanting, shrieking, smashing windows or burning limos and no tear gas either. A nice change but also illustrates clearly that people can assemble and march and make a point without resorting to mindless violence.
And as the parody account (Sean Spicier) of the PressSec stated: Today is the day the Press decides that crowd size isn’t that important after all.
