Every year of these past three decades, black American soldiers have returned home from combat tours, having served their country in relative obscurity. Many of them have arrived home, having left an arm or a leg or half their faces on the battlefield in Afghanistan or some other Muslim shithole. These folks have endured rehab and, for the most part, re-entered the workforce to the best of their ability. Nobody outside their immediate family or circle of friends knows their names. They have not coasted on their situational histories for five minutes, let alone for five decades.
So it’s understandable that I get royally pissed off when I hear John Lewis pontificating about what happened to him in Selma fifty years ago, as if he were some kind of hero. And that aggravation grows stronger when wannabees like Cory Booker start singing the same hymn. These people typify what is wrong with career politicians in America — the black version of the problem, that is.
Now I find out that John Lewis was (is?) a card-carrying communist, through his ties to SNCC and other radical organizations during the 1960s and ’70s. WHY do these people get elected, and re-elected, and re-re-elected? Are their constituents that ignorant? Or are they also anti-American? If Lewis and Booker are the faces of the modern Democrat Party, they will grow increasingly marginalized in coming election cycles. Maybe they will disappear altogether, along with their Great Leader, Barack Hussein O.
The Real John Lewis
People should understand the basic problem our nation faces from people like John Lewis, who has deep background ties with Communists and Socialists. Yes, Lewis did fight for Civil Rights, but he was also associated with Socialists and Communists that do not wish to see our nation or the Constitution to continue on with the Freedom our nation was founded upon.
“John Lewis was born to sharecropper parents on February 21, 1940 in Troy, Alabama. An aspiring Christian minister, Lewis as a teenager practiced his preaching skills by addressing the chickens in his parents’ barnyard; he also delivered a number of actual sermons at local Baptist churches. In February 1960 he participated in the first civil-rights sit-in at a segregated lunch counter in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 1961 Lewis earned a BA in theology at the American Baptist Theological Seminary in Nashville.
In 1961 as well, Lewis took part in the first Freedom Rides, which famously challenged segregation at interstate bus terminals across the South. In the course of these activities, he was savagely beaten in South Carolina and Montgomery, Alabama. Moreover, by 1963 Lewis had been arrested 24 times for his participation in civil-rights direct actions.
Also in ’63, Lewis spoke at the March on Washington where Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. That same year, Lewis was named chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee(SNCC).”
In drafting his own speech, Lewis received input from a number of SNCC activists including Julian Bond, Eleanor Holmes (Norton), and James Forman. In the original draft of his speech, Lewis hadplanned to say: “The revolution is a serious one. [President] Kennedy is trying to take the revolution out of the street and put it into the courts…. The black masses are on the march for jobs and freedom, and we must say to the politicians that there won’t be a ‘cooling-off’ period. We won’t stop now. The time will come when we will not confine our marching to Washington. We will march through the South, through the heart of Dixie, the way Sherman did. We shall pursue our own ‘scorched earth’ policy and burn Jim Crow to the ground––nonviolently. We shall fragment the South into a thousand pieces and put them back together in the image of democracy…. We will not be patient!” Key civil-rights figures like Bayard Rustin, Roy Wilkins, and A. Philip Randolph considered portions of Lewis’s speech too inflammatory and persuaded him, with much contentious argumentation, to remove the reference to Sherman’s army. John Lewis became active in Civil Rights in the turbulent 60’s. He was just 23 years old when he became Chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. Read the highlighted part above about the “Jim Crow” laws, wherein John Lewis said he wanted to “…burn Jim Crow to the ground…” But, like most of the very Democrats he wanted to burn, the law passed by Democrats. Democrats voted FOR Slavery, Segregation, Jim Crow Laws, and nearly all the laws that held poor people down. Even today, Democrats continue to hope their laws to “Control” the people will pass.
Some people wonder what this has to do with John Lewis and his great Civil Rights fight.
“The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) was established in the spring of 1960 by mostly black college students who were involved in the anti-segregation sit-in movement that was then sweeping the South. The group’s founders first convenedin Raleigh, North Carolina, at the initiative of Ella Baker, an influential civil-rights leader (with the NAACP) and an avowed socialist who had ties to the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and the Weather Underground. Among SNCC’s founding memberswere such notables as Harry Belafonte, Debbie Bell, Julian Bond, David Forbes, Dick Gregory, Joyce Ladner, James Lawson, John Lewis, and Bernice Johnson Reagon. Other high-profile supportersincluded entertainers like Pete Seeger and the musical trio of Peter, Paul, and Mary. There is ample evidence that as the 1960s progressed, CPUSA members infiltrated SNCC.”
Here we can quickly see that this was a black organization, and as we read further down the list of who’s who, it shows that the ties to Communists, Communist Party, Socialists and everything that is bad for Freedom. We see a connection through Ella Baker, who was an Avowed Socialist and had ties to the Communist Party USA! So through this brief illustration, we show that John Lewis has been part of the Communist/Socialist movement now called the “Progressives.”
John Lewis became Vice Chairman of the National Committee to Abolish the House Un-American Activities Committee, a “front” group of the Communist Party. This is a direct link to Communist actors against the United States. So by just what is shown here, we see that John Lewis is a proud companion of the Communist Party USA and it gets even deeper because John Lewis continues to work with not just Communists, but with Socialists.
It was in October of 2009 that the Socialist Party of America proudly proclaimed that 70 members of the House of Representatives were members in good standing in their organization. Of those 70, we quickly see that John Lewis, Xavier Becerra, William Clay, John Conyers, Elijah Cummings, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Keith Ellison, Alan Grayson, Barbara Lee, Maxine Waters, just to name a few, all proud members in good standing of the Socialist Party of America.
“In October 2009, the Socialist Party of America announced that at least 70 Congressional Democrats were members of its Caucus at that time—i.e., members of the Democratic Socialists of America. Most of those individuals belonged to the Congressional Progressive Caucus and/or the Congressional Black Caucus. To view a list of their names, click here.”
“At a 1965 banquet in Terre Haute, Indiana, Lewis was the first honoree of the annual Eugene Debs Award, named for the Socialist Party of America founder. That same year, Lewis wrote anarticle titled “Paul Robeson: Inspirer of Youth,” for the CPUSA propaganda magazine Freedomways. The piece lauded Robeson, who had been a CPUSA member and a devoted admirer of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin, and stated that “we of SNCC are Paul Robeson’s spiritual children.”
Once again, we clearly see that John Lewis worked with close ties to the Communist Party USA. John Lewis works closely with the front groups sponsored by the Communist Party USA or supported by the Socialist Party of America, both of whom do not wish any good for the freedom of people, no matter what or who they are. This is shown from 1967 to 1973.
“In 1967 Lewis paid tribute to Norman Thomas, a six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America, as a man who “has symbolized to millions of Americans the ideals of peace, freedom and equality.” That same year Lewis earned his second BA—in philosophy/religion—from Fisk University.
In May 1973 Lewis was listed as a “sponsor” of “A Call” for a founding conference of the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, a CPUSA front.”
John Lewis, like the Congressional Black Caucus, has strong ties to either the Communist Party USA or the Socialist Party of America. Both groups, although they say they wish to help the poor, use the Communist/Socialist ideologies to reach that point and that did not bear out any good for Cuba, Venezuela, Russia, or any of the Communist/Socialist nations, no matter where they are. Let us show you more of this by showing just a part of the Congressional Black Caucus ideology.
“The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) is an organization of black congressional representatives. While it is officially “nonpartisan,” the CBC since its founding has functioned as part of the left wing of the Democratic Party.
The CBC was established in January 1969. Its founders were Representatives John Conyers and Charles Diggs of Michigan, Ron Dellums and Gus Hawkins of California, Charles Rangel and Shirley Chisholm of New York, Louis Stokes of Ohio, Ralph Metcalf and George Collins of Illinois, Parren Mitchell of Maryland, Robert Nix of Pennsylvania, William Clay of Missouri, and Delegate from the District of Columbia Walter Fauntroy.
Until 1994, when voters returned a Republican House of Representatives, the CBC had been defined as an “official office of Congress” and as such was provided its own offices, staff and lavish budget. The CBC now claims as its address the office of whichever member is serving as Chairman. CBC funding flows largely through the tax-exempt Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. and is used to fund conferences, parties and other activities to benefit caucus Democratic leaders and their families.Membership in the CBC is accorded automatically to any African-American elected to the House of Representatives, unless that member refuses membership. As of April 2006, the CBC consisted of 5 officers and 38 additional members. All 43 were Democrats, and 22 of them were also members of the radical Progressive Caucus in the House of Representatives.”
It is very strange how the Black Caucus yells “racist” about a wide range of items yet, they are huge racists in that no one but blacks can be members of their group. Check the Socialist Party list and you will also see a number of the same people on that list on the Black Caucus list too. Let us continue with John Lewis and his close ties to either Socialists or Communists.
In August 2003 Lewis contributed an article to the CPUSA paperPeople’s Weekly World, titled “An Open letter to my Colleagues in Congress: Remembering the Legacy of Martin Luther King.”
One of Lewis’s passions has been the “normalization” of relations between the United States and Cuba. In June 2004, his officedispatched employee Michael Collins for a four-day “fact-finding” trip to Havana. The trip cost $1,280.16 and was funded by the Christopher Reynolds Foundation. In 2013 Lewis was one of 59 House Members who signed a letter urging President Barack Obama to “support travel to Cuba by granting general licenses for ALL current categories of travel.” (Emphasis in original)
When the House of Representatives voted by a 345-75 margin to defund the notoriously corrupt community organization ACORN in September 2009, Lewis was one of the 75—all Democrats—who voted to continue funding the group. For a list of other legislators who voted as Lewis did, click here.
On July 28, 2010, Lewis and Tom Harkin co-sponsored the kick-off event of the 21st Century Democrats‘ 2010 Youth Leadership Speaker Series, which featured appearances by such notables as Elijah Cummings, Van Jones, and Barbara Lee.”
The very last sentence shows the Communist Van Jones as speaker, this should trouble anyone because Van Jones was kicked out of the White House due to his very deep Communist ideology and connections. But that does not stop John Lewis from being near or close to him.
“In March 2015, Massachusetts CPUSA leader Gary Dotterman described Lewis as “my hero, my comrade, my inspiration and my friend.”
“Lewis is a longtime member of both the Congressional Progressive Caucus and the Congressional Black Caucus. For an overview of his voting record on a variety of key issues during the course of his legislative career, click here, here, and here.

John Lewis is like most of those who say they do well when they are not worried about anyone but themselves. What has happened in this past election shows that many people have finally woken up from the slumber to see that our Nation, our Freedom will be taken from us should we allow the Socialists/Communists disguised as “Progressive Democrats” and Democrats in general take control of our nation again.
