Walid Phares commented on Fox News concerning moving forward on international and national failed policies of the Obama administration and radical terrorism.
What is Obama’s international legacy?
“It will be a long time before we can determine that. It is the abandonment of allies and changing the course of world’s perception and image of the US as biggest victim that I can see in the region and the world.” he answered.
While much of what he said was spot on, I have to say I disagree with his “long time”. Given all the cuts and statements made across the world, knowing Obama’s legacy shouldn’t take more than a moment to figure out. Perhaps he meant that it would take a long time to figure out how profoundly Obama has affected our international standing and root out his every rotten action.
He is reviled as a deceiver, ignorant, and a laughing stock in the world’s eyes.
He has brought our economy, financial stability, and citizenry to the brink of disaster nearly single-handedly, more so probably than any or all presidents in the last hundred years. His “non-plan” and constant “lines in the sand” then backpedaling along with his “secret backroom deals” has made him and in turn the US appear weak and perceived as a terrible ally or leader.
Bush had his faults but the one thing not at issue was his love of country and respect for our constitution, other governments rights, and our allies. Obama abandoned all of the world and rode roughshod for eight years over all in the US.
I can think of no other president at the moment that has been so disrespected and disrespectful of other governments as Obama. His arrogance, refusal to face reality and deal with it, executive orders, and lecturing of other countries as well as the US while abroad has earned his legacy no right to be recognized or honored, just the opposite.
