ACLU Sues Indiana Town Over Christmas Cross

The ACLU sued the town of Knightsville, Indiana because ONE person was offended by the display of the cross.  The Town officials complied and this sparked a petition drive with 2800 signatures so far.

Of course this is bullshit.  I’d like to see a complaint over the display of a Islamic Ramadan symbol and see what happens.  The point is that Christianity has been under assault for decades by the Left and it needs to stop.

The Constitution provides us with “Freedom of Religion” not the Erasure of some Religion.  Ditto with the 10 Commandments which were commonplace in most courthouses until the ACLU claimed their victories complicit with the rulings of lefty judges.

Frankly, in my opinion, the Town officials should have told the ACLU to pound sand.  It’s called Christmas, not Festivas, not Happy Holidays, not Winter Solstice… IT’S CHRISTMAS!   Of course, they didn’t want to part with a few bucks to fight this in court thus the ACLU wins again.  Here’s hoping that with a new administration and a new DoJ along with a conservative Supreme Court this insane assault of Christianity will end.

I’m not a religious guy but this shit pisses me off to no end.

I cannot understand why we taxpayers have to fund the effing ACLU. A bunch of eternally butt hurt sleazebag-lawyers.

  2. Just Gene says:

Navyvet and all vets – THANKS
    but isn’t “sleazebag-lawyers.” redundant?

We have a saying in Australia re lawyers:

Q: What do you call 50 lawyers chained together at the bottom of Sydney Harbour?

      A: A good start!

  3. SafeSpace says:

Outfits like the Freedom From Religion Foundation are ripe for counter-suits. Their actions deny us religious folk the Constitutionally-granted right to express our opinions and beliefs. It’s called the First Amendment. Jay Sekulow’s ACLJ would be a good place to start organizing such a suit, once we have President Trump in the Oval Office.

  4. Shar says:

Agree Navyvet, or NPR. What a waste of taxpayers money. I think Trump will put an end to this nonsense. In his Wisconsin rally he mentioned we will be saying Merry Christmas again. The people that don’t like it can buzz off!
