Whenever Pelosi and Elijah Cummins want to create chaos and throw a spanner into the workings of congress, they often open their mouths and prove conclusively for the general public that ethical behavior and intelligence is not a requirement to be a Democrat politician. Their latest attack is against Ben Carson who has done nothing to warrant their ignorance chain rattling. It surely proves why as one of the presidential contenders, Carson would have been steamrolled by these idiots.
Democrats will NEVER get their acts together so long as they are led by such long time politicians of the “dark waters.”
You guys keep up the good work. Muslim Brotherhood and socialists must be cheering and bankrolling you more for your efforts. Unless you ditch these non-constitutionalists, there is no hope for your strengthening and recovery.
What Nancy Pelosi Just Said About Ben Carson Proves She’s LOST IT
The Federalist Papers
By C.E. Dyer
December 5, 2016
President-elect Donald Trump has chosen retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson to head up the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In response, leftists like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have shown their true colors with charges that Carson isn’t qualified for the position.
Pelosi said in a statement, according to the Washington Examiner: “Dr. Ben Carson is a disconcerting and disturbingly unqualified choice to lead a department as complex and consequential as Housing and Urban Development.”
Yes, so complex that a retired neurosurgeon won’t be able to figure it out…
“Our country deserves a HUD Secretary with the relevant experience to protect the rights of homeowners and renters, particularly in low income and minority communities, and to ensure that everyone in our country can have access to safe and affordable housing without facing discrimination or homelessness,” Pelosi’s statement continued.
What Pelosi really said here, in addition to the massive level of disrespect leveled at Carson, is that she and other leftists want a HUD Secretary that is going to implement the failed policies that they want so that no real progress is made and that they can keep people in a perpetual state of dependence on the government.
Pelosi’s statement continued, “There is no evidence that Dr. Carson brings the necessary credentials to hold a position with such immense responsibilities and impact on families and communities across America.”
The Washington Examiner reported:
Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Government Reform, agreed with Pelosi and said Trump has named someone who is “woefully unqualified” to run HUD. He also said Trump’s decision to nominate Carson and others to his Cabinet means it’s clear that Trump has “no interest in protecting American homeowners from Wall Street abuses.”
“During his time in Baltimore, Dr. Ben Carson was a phenomenal neurosurgeon, but he has no experience developing housing policy affecting tens of millions of households or running a complex federal agency, as his own spokesman admitted just last month,” Cummings said.
“Mr. Trump said during the campaign he would support working-class Americans, but his appointments make it clear he intends nothing of the sort,” he added.
Carson has been Trump’s expected choice for the last few weeks, and has been criticized by Democrats as someone with no experience with federal housing programs.
However, Carson has indicated he would push to end the Obama administration’s plans to mandate certain diversity goals when it comes to housing.
Apparently a junior senator and community organizer was plenty qualified to be leader of the free world but Carson won’t be able to figure out how to run HUD…
Yeah, there’s no bias at play here among leftists who would surely have embraced Carson if he were a Democrat and not a Republican.
Examining the truth:
Elijah Cummings – Attorney and Political Science major. Practiced law for 19 years. Holds seats on transportation and infrastructure, oversight, and Benghazi committees. Quinton Report on Cummings: IRS filed suit for back taxes in the 1990’s. Had allegations of campaign funding violations. Lawsuits over unpaid debts. To his credit, Cummings never has attained the financial stature of many of his Democrat cohorts according to public information. He continues to advocate for the Blacks, Baltimore, and his beliefs. Perhaps he and others should ask why Pelosi and other top Democrats appear to be so much wealthier and not diverse.
Nancy Pelosi – Socialist and so long in congress that her feet have taken root. Parent and sibling were Baltimore mayors. Political Science major in college. No mention of business work history. All her time, energy, and efforts have apparently been geared to political career. Her Pacific Heights district is considered one the safest, elitist Democrat districts in the country. Roll Call – Net Worth ranked 14th overall as congressman net worth in 2014 at around $ 29 million and 15th overall net worth of $29.3 million in 2015. But most reference from 2009 an estimate of $7 million to $120 million according to who is speculating. Pelosi apparently refused over the years to post her own taxes even though she has hounded Republicans in particular Trump to do so. Pelosi has so many moments captured on camera of her ignorance and lack of intelligence that I won’t even try to add them here.
A Look Back Over the last years at HUD
I just released a post “What A New HUD Appointee Faces When Taking Over” if anyone wants to check it out.
Here are those who held the office since 1997 and their actions.
1997 – Cuomo put in a new HUD 2020 Reform Plan to centralize, improve reporting, and improve qualifications of employees.
2005 – OIG – HUD was said to have improved performance but FHA lack of oversight and accountability problems needed to be addressed.
2010 – OIG noted several instances from of lack of oversight and accountability to be corrected even though HUD thought it was doing a good job in reporting. Yet OIG still expressed serious concerns about reporting, feasibility of programs, accountability, and accuracy of HUD. They continued to propose regulatory and consideration changes to HUD and Congress.
2011 – forward – OIG continued to not serious issues and propose changes, many of which to date have not been addressed.
From the thumbnail sketches below this article as I see it:
There were three Democrats of which only one had any prior experience or training in housing. All of them were from wealthy backgrounds. All three were politicians and supporters of Bill and Hillary Clinton and Obama. All of them were either pointed to as having if not created the housing crisis at least not cleared it up significantly in any way. All of them had OIG problems that were not addressed and corrected. Only one was from a background other than white elite politicians.
There were two Republicans both of whom had extensive housing backgrounds. During their tenures OIG saw some improvement but was not completely satisfied that improvements were enough.
The Republican secretaries showed the greatest diversity having more experience and training from their own pasts to draw from and less wealthy backgrounds.
From 2011 to today, during the last two Democrat tenures, OIG not only noted many concerns but those concerns went unaddressed.
Not only does Pelosi prove how and why the Democrats are in such a disarray. She proves why those in power in the congressional Democrat positions should be ashamed of their continued support of Pelosi. But hey, rock on. All that Pelosi proves is that intelligence, moral values, and decency cannot be found in the Democrat Party of today.
Remember this intelligent, informed statement to the public Pelosi?
“we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”
Now apologize or even better – Don’t grace the public with any more “intelligent” and “informed” statements.

Andrew Cuomo – 1997-2001 – Democrat, New York Times, August 23, 2010 – Mixed Score. Some people argued at the time that Cuomo’s actions or reactions were what set the sub-prime market into economic decline. Even though he saw the problems of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae he chose to not aggressively pursue and resolve the issue before it became a hot topic. Many point to the fact he wrote policies and had he acted tougher, and perhaps risked more, he might well have forestalled or limited some of the worst abuses. Cuomo was pushing mortgage bankers to make loans and basically saying you have to offer a loan to everybody.” Called into question as AG of New York on handling of or ignorance of violations by ACORN – AmericanThinker. Claim of experience in Housing, founded HELP in 1986 and Homeless Commission. Most of career out of college has been political not legal since he only worked briefly in the legal profession. Alphonso Jackson – 2003-2008 – Republican – Resigned office. Allegations of HUD contract dispersals. 1989 President and CEO of Dallas Housing Authority and during tenure managed to clean up and improve the system, president of a local high powered utility company in Austin, Texas. Elitist from wealthy Upper New York family who worked for Prudential Mortgage Capital in 2002. Embraced voluntary inclusionary zoning allowing some zoning changes but developers needed to include affordable housing. The federal budget during his tenure reflected his views on assisting cities to provide affordable rental and housing for low to middle income families.
Julian Castro – 2014 – Current – Democrat – Degree in political science and communications. Degree as Attorney, worked in politics even before graduation. Worked for international law and lobbying firm after college. Then started a firm with his brother.
