wrong houseAbadou Doumbia, in Wichita, Kansas, broke into a home with his partner and a gun. The homeowner took the gun from him and shot a few times. Doumbia was DRT (dead right there). The second thief got away.

In Culpeper, Virginia, 18-year-old Amber Eley knocked on a door and asked the resident for help with her car. The resident turned her away. She came back with 21-year-old Delonte Jones who had a gun and whacked the resident with it. The homeowner took the gun from him and shot him center mass. Jones was DRT while first responders tried to revive him. Eley, on the other hand, was charged with attempted robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Police are looking for two more accomplices.

Three masked teens tried to rob a smoke shop employee in Las Vegas, Nevada. The clerk let loose with five rounds one of which struck one of the teens in the noggin rendering him DRT (dead right there).

James Howard, a Fayetteville, North Carolina homeowner heard noises at his backdoor and went to investigate. He found Harold Lehman in his home. Lehman approached Howard and Howard fired one shot center mass. That didn’t deter the criminal, so Howard fired again at the ‘x’ ring. Lehman showed up later at the hospital and police are waiting for him to heal enough so they can serve a warrant.

In Round Rock, Texas, a homeowner saw a man outside his home trying to get inside the home. He fired his gun and the intruder was DRT (dead right there) when police arrived. At another link, they report that the dead fellow is an ex-boyfriend of the homeowner’s girlfriend and that the homeowner fired twice.

A 66-year-old in Seminole, Florida really needs some range time – he heard someone in his house, so he got his gun, got in a tussle with the criminal and shot himself in the arm which scared the criminal off. His injuries are not life threatening.

In Arlington, Texas, three people forced their way into a home where they were greeted by gunfire. When police arrived, one criminal was DRT (dead right there) and another was laying in the yard with a gunshot wound to his face.

A robber in Montgomery County, Texas didn’t know that off-duty sheriff’s deputy, Officer Skip, was in the Raising Cane’s restaurant when he assaulted two customer and demanded their money. Officer Skip tried to talk 17-year-old Elijah Mark Cobb down, but when that didn’t work, he put five rounds center mass. Cobb was DRT (dead right there).

Police arrived at an Antioch, California home to find a 21 year old male intruder with several gunshot wounds. Despite emergency workers’ best efforts, he was DRT (dead right there).

In Apple Valley, California, a homeowner shot an intruder who came to help himself to what he thought was “free stuff”.  The homeowner disagreed.  The criminal was DRT (dead right there) and made a mess in the living room.

A Colorado criminal got a free helicopter ride in Cheyenne County, Kansas when he was shot by a farmer for being where he wasn’t invited.

In Cleveland, Ohio, a 68-year-old heard noises while he was in bed, so he got up to confront the two thieves in his house. They charged him and he responded with a pair of gun shots. When police arrived, they found one of the crooks who was DRT (dead right there) in the kitchen. 19-year-old Antwuan Williams, the accomplice, is facing murder charges for the death of his pal.

A 21-year-old was lured to a residence in Indianapolis, Indiana with the promise of good lovin’, but instead a 14-year-old with a gun robbed him. Police say that the man shot the teen in self-defense. The teen was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital.

A firefighter in Santa Fe, New Mexico stopped a burglar from stealing his firefighting gear at shotgun point when he caught the thief in the early morning hours.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, three men tried to carjack a couple. The man shot at the trio, hitting one while other two ran off. The wounded criminal is in critical condition.

21-year-old Carlos Juarez Jauregui was shot by an Albuquerque, New Mexico homeowner when young Carlos climbed through his window naked. Jauregui is recovering from three gunshot wounds to his face and neck.

In Benson, North Carolina police were on their way to investigate a report of a man “beating on doors”. Before the police could get to the scene, the man beat on one door too many and found himself shot by a homeowner. He’s in stable condition at the hospital.

    Abadou Doumbia – now there’s a fine old American name. Seems like it didn’t take him too long to revert to his chicken-stealing and goat-rustling habits once he landed in the Great Republic.
