WikiLeaks Dump: Top Clinton Aides Mock Catholicism, Evangelical Christianity

As Seen On Kelly Files

October 11, 2016

New revelations from the latest WikiLeaks dump has key Hillary Clinton aides and allies taking heat after they are caught attacking two major faith groups–evangelicals and Catholics– in email correspondence.

The 2011 email chains are between Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri, Campaign Chairman John Podesta and John Halpin from the Center for American Progress, Trace Gallagher reported.

Halpin characterizes some members of the Catholic church as being engaged in an “amazing bastardization of the faith.”

Halpin continues, criticizing 21st Century Fox Chairman Rupert Murdoch, CEO of Fox News, and NewsCorp Chairman Robert Thomson for raising their children Catholic, Gallagher reported:

“They must be attracted to the systemic thought and severely backward gender relations,” he writes.

Podesta, a Catholic, does not directly respond in the correspondence.

“I imagine they think it the is the most socially acceptable, politically conservative religion–their rich friends wouldn’t understand if they became evangelicals” Palmieri says of the two men.

The Catholic League slammed those involved, saying it “makes one wonder what else Clinton’s chiefs… are saying about Catholics and Catholicism.”

Karl Rove called the remarks “thinly-veiled bigotry,” suggesting that “Donald Trump…take a whack at these comments [instead of Paul Ryan]” in the coming days.

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, told Megyn Kelly that these are the same folks who believe in Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” characterization of Trump supporters.

“They believe that people who actually want to live by their faith are backwater people. [They see religion as a] glorified social club–if you want to…live your life according to [Scripture], you’re going to run into trouble with Hillary Clinton.”

According to the latest Atlantic poll, Clinton holds a majority of Catholic voter support, by a 55-34 margin.

So all of those wimps who are falling in line with the Clinton doctrine better be thinking long and hard about this woman and what will be happening if she becomes president.  Granted this was not specifically Hillary Clinton making these comments.  However, we all are aware that those who are members of a cliche or group follow the concepts and thoughts of their leader.

Hillary may be a slightly softer version of socialistic thinking but everything on her website, all the actions she has taken to put forth to champion Islam along with her donors that she has worked with over the years, certainly suggests that her version or rather vision of religion is totally skewed from those values we hold dear as Christians.

We have all seen over the last eight years where Christians are finding themselves increasingly under fire for our beliefs.  Bigots – you bet.  Biased – you bet.  As Christians we are held accountable to a far superior, higher power for how we accept or deny our faith.  We are expected to uphold and defend it when necessary.  To allow this woman and her zombies to overtake our country and persecute us on our beliefs is unconscionable.

Communist Manifesto according to Marx

The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is required for
their real happiness.
The demand to give up illusions about the existing state of affairs is the demand to give up
a state of affairs that needs illusions. The criticism of religion is therefore in embryo the
criticism of the vale of tears, the halo of which is religion. (K. Marx)
* * *
The social principles of Christianity are sneaking and hypocritical, and the
proletariat is revolutionary. (Karl Marx)
* * *
Your question is itself a product of abstraction. Ask yourself how you arrived at that
question… When you ask about creation of nature and man, you are abstracting, in so
doing, from man and nature. You postulate them as non-existent, and yet you want me to
prove them to you as existing… your abstraction from the existence of nature and man has
no meaning. (K. Marx)
As Socialism grows, RELIGION WILL DISAPPEAR. (Karl Marx)

Are you really going to exacerbate the issue of religious freedom by allowing these people in the Democrat Party to take control?  The very ones who are attacking Christian values and religious freedom in order to push an Islamic or communist narrative ?

  1. GruntOfMonteCristo says:

    Totally expected. Still outrageous.

  2. myfoxmystere says:

It is written “Be not deceived, God is not mocked.” That’s the short version of it. As Hillary’s minions go on Satan’s mission to destroy God’s work, they’ll end up paying a high price for their wicked deeds.

  3. SafeSpace says:

I’m a member of a Reformed church (Presbyterian Church of America), fairly strict Calvinist doctrine, where we practice careful and deep reading of Scripture with zero “interpretation” added, My pastor, who holds a Doctorate from one of America’s foremost religions colleges, has already told us from the pulpit that he is prepared to tell the government that he “will not comply”, and to go to jail should that be necessary. I suspect that most American churches where God is taken at His word are having the same discussion, knowing that a Hillary presidency will mean likely restrictions on accurately preaching the Bible. The First Amendment was SPECIFICALLY designed to protect religious freedom, and it is high on the target list of the Uniparty’s pro-muslim, pro-homosexual-agenda warriors.

    • Uriel says:

It is. And it could come down to not being allowed to attend a service which appears to be happening in strong Muslim population countries now

  4. Popular Front says:

In my long observation, if you are standing for office and you mock or belittle Christianity then you will LOSE big time. Whether it is election for US President or Marin County Dog Catcher, mock Christ and you’re toast.

  5. vonMesser says:

I have just a small problem with the headline. The headline makes it sound like Catholics are not Christians. While there is a difference between Catholics and other Christians, Catholicism IS Christianity. In fact, it was the only Christianity from the beginning until the first schism in 1378. So, you can be Christian without being Catholic, but you cannot be Catholic without being Christian. (You can be a car without being a Ford, but if you are a Ford, you are a car – no matter what the Chevvie people say)

  6. Peppermint says:

Uriel, she already said publicly that those religions who oppose abortion will have to adjust their thinking. (paraphrased).

I can’t understand why Catholics would be supporting her in such big numbers. She is everything anathema to Catholicism since abortion is considered murder in the Church doctrine.

She is a Marxist. And religion as we know it I fear will be banned under (God help us) a Hillary administration. Probably only Muslims would be allowed to practice their faith since she is so close to Muslim Brotherhood.

    • Uriel says:

We already see which way the wind is blowing on this nationally and internationally Pepper. How Christians of any sect or faith can allow this to overcome our lives in this country is horrific and unacceptable. As members of God’s family to allow what we see happening in our country is exactly how we are destroyed as a nation. I am horrified that they would back her over another yet we are seeing exactly that from members of our communities of supposedly faithful Christians. Worse yet are those who are abstaining and simply have given up their right to express themselves by voting.

    • Pep, I’m not sure we’re seeing a lot of support for Hillary out there in Catholic communities. Mine is still preaching “Vote Life” pretty prominently. And that don’t mean Hillary. However, the Catholic bishops have sold their souls for cash by helping to resettle Obama’s hordes of immigrants, and they vigorously defend that as “the Christian thing to do,” knowing full well that his projects are illegal and unethical and dangerous. So, I think we’re seeing some implicit/illicit Hillary support from the pulpits, though I hope the people in the pews are not buying it.

      • Peppermint says:

Grunt, Uriel posted this: Clinton holds a majority of Catholic voter support, by a 55-34 margin.

That’s a large segment of Catholics supporting her if the poll is true. I hope it is not.

        Now this bishop blasted her:

“Outraged by the anti-Catholic bigotry displayed in leaked Team Clinton emails this week, the powerful Philadelphia bishop blasted both President Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton for their efforts to undermine church teachings.

In his weekly column for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Archbishop Charles Chaput Thursday demanded that Clinton repudiate the emails — then added that he doesn’t expect her to.”

We need to see more of this outrage by the clergy. I am a Catholic too and as far as I know abortion is still considered murder.

        • Uriel says:

Exactly Pepper and those who call themselves Christians and abhor killing should NOT be having ANY kissy kissy with abortion on demand. Nor allowing or aiding invetted refugees anywhere in the USA without a compound to hold them until checked physically and mentally.

          • Peppermint says:

Uriel I don’t understand why any Christian would vote for Hillary. I don’t call those people Christians; They are hypocrites. I hate abortion, consider it murder myself. I was raised Catholic of course. But also in my early years as a nurse through my studies I realized that a baby is what is in the womb right away. It’s not some toad or acorn. Just what is wrong with these people who thinks it’s OK to murder a baby in the 3rd term by drilling a baby’s scull to kill it. It’s so inhuman and makes me ill.

I agree also on the Illegals. When our families came here they were held at Ellis Island being checked. So what’s so wrong with doing that? it’s for the protection of our own citizens.

            • Absolutely, Pep, on all counts. This drives my wife crazy when she’s run into idiot fellow Catholics (rarely, thank Goodness) who claim to vote Democrat. They are usually insanely stupid people who just don’t think. She’s actually a convert from a Baptist denomination, so it pisses her off even more. It was partly the willingness to fight against abortion that attracted her to the RCC. We love Bishop Chaput, though, and appreciate it that he’s proclaimed that no Catholic may willingly vote for that demon woman under any circumstances and still keep his/her soul. You tell ’em Chuck.

  7. Hardnox says:

First off, I don’t get how anyone identifies as a Christian or a Catholic can vote for the left in the first place given the Left’s promotion of all things anti-Christian.

Secondly, Pelosi, Biden, and that nitwit Kaine are supposedly devote Catholics as are half the Supremes and many in Congress. If they are in fact devout Catholics then I’m nominating my dog for Pope since at least he’s honorable.

In my view, the problem with the uber-religious is that they never learn when to shut up. They gain an inch and immediately reach for the next mile then they lose again. One step forward and two steps backwards is not a good plan for success.

This Wikileaks revelation is being covered-up by the media for fear of further alienating the religious voters. Again, if one is religious how could they vote for Hillary? The two are mutually exclusive. She’s evil. Trump is merely flawed.
