Quote of the Day

“Of all the tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at same point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
C.S. Lewis

Does this not describe completely, the Communist and Democrat parties (and some Republicans)?

Good quote and yes it does describe them. ” They know best” except when it comes to their own desires. “The fault lies with the receiver not the giver”

  2. Hardnox says:

Indeed. Those “some republicans” are in name only as they do not function as to the published platform of the party. A purge is in order.

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions”.

Had to read it twice. I thought it was talking about “Trannies”.
    Now it makes sense !
