The port at Calais France and British border is protected by 16ft (5m) fences topped with coils of razor wire and CCTV, with the gates and exterior guarded by heavily armed French riot police. Inside, there is a “comprehensive network of surveillance cameras”, according to the port’s website, and security guards patrol with dogs. In 2014, Britain committed £12m over three years to tackle the problems at Calais, and part of this is being used to build a 15ft fence along the motorway leading to the port.

Thanks to Obama, Clintons, and others looks like the wall building industry is experiencing a boom.  Reminds me of every time we hear “take away guns” and the gun shops revenue skyrockets. So WHY are the liberals so set against building a wall.  I thought they were trend setters and this appears to be a world wide trend even larger than during the last two world wars.

Great pics of fences Uriel. Now we have to get one up on our border. I don’t hear Obama calling these other countries xenophobes.

    • Uriel says:

Me either pepper. Of course some of those borders won’t think twice about eliminating bodies should they cross. It is sad to see things come to such an empass especially after some of those walls had only come down in recent history. I totally blame moves made in the last ten years but specifically Obama for the need to have them.

  2. Just Gene says:

I believe a bill was passed and money allocated to build a wall when Clinton was president (check his 1970 SOTU address) which makes Trump a racist for enforcing the law – BTW, where the hell is the money that was allocated!!!!

  3. W Barna says:

Before Hillary was “against the Wall” she was “for the Wall”……

Personally, I’d like to see her “against the wall” with seven highly skilled markesmen sighting in on her… a better day this was the reward for treason.

    • Uriel says:

Another use for a wall. Hmm. I would love to see her drop shipped to Iraq with all her buddies. Except I am not so sure she wouldn’t con them into something far worse.

    • vonMesser says:

Naaaaa. Not highly skilled marksmen. Just a bunch of recruits who have not had any training yet. More chance of multiple wounding hits….and the need for a second, or even third volley.

      • Uriel says:

Lol Von. I can picture a carney game where People walk stage left to right slowly like targets. And recruits with buckets of bullets

  4. Hardnox says:

Good post. This wall building is a real growth industry.

  5. Terry says:

    Good post Uriel.
I think the best walls are made of lead, and shaped like bullets. Just sayin’.
