Quote of the Day

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace. Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant with the weak and wrong.  Sometime in life you will have been all of these.

Unfortunately, I have lost the author of this.

  1. Well, it appears there is a debate about who is the author! http://quoteinvestigator.com/2014/12/22/tender/

  2. captbogus2 says:

    That’s okay. I am compassionate.
    ….. hahaha.

  3. Hardnox says:

Those I reserve for everyone except lefties. They will get nothing from me. Not now, not ever.

sounds like a Ghandi quote but Proverbs has quite a bit of similar sage advice.

doesn’t matter there was some flaw in original design for man where “peace” got deleted from the gene pattern along with “satisfied and enough”. Maybe Satan was originally a stupid lab worker in God’s lab and dropped the ball on his assigned task.
