In Trump We Trust

According to Bucky Fox at WND,  the biggest reason for the Trump-bashers on the Republican side to not give in is they don’t want to have to wipe the egg from their faces. I think he’s on to something there. Here’s what he has to say about it……

We’ll be right.

When Donald Trump wins the presidency on Nov. 8, some of us can cheer our seer power.

Ann Coulter called Trump a lock atop the Paris slaughter of Nov. 13.

I guaranteed a Trump triumph way before the Muslim massacres in Europe and California – and wrote a column to make it official in February.

In March, WND’s Joseph Farah predicted a Trump landslide of Reagan proportions.

Also the other day, “Reagan: The Movie” producer Mark Joseph said over lunch that he could see everything breaking for Trump at crunch time.

We’re on the winning side. Just as the rare Trumpeters of 2015 – Jeff Lord, Charles Hurt, Michael Savage – have enjoyed higher volume with TV and radio voices Gina Loudon, A.J. Delgado, Kayleigh McEnany, Laura Ingraham, Jesse Lee Peterson, Bill Mitchell, Tucker Carlson, Andrea Tantaros, Kim Guilfoyle, Pat Buchanan, Scottie Hughes and Sean Hannity.

And yet.

The conservative holdouts are maddening.

Sure, Van Jones and Paul Begala will never leave the lefty reservation.

But GOP hands Mark Levin, Hugh Hewitt, Jonah Goldberg, Rich Lowry, S.E. Cupp? Their conversion to Trump is slower than a Hillary fashion change.

Speaking of which, what do those righties want? The pantsuit hag kicking down the Constitution and borders?

Evidently such old-guard Republicans don’t care if the White House stays flaming red.

Which leads Trump fans to ask: Why?

What is it about Trump’s dead-on positions that the George Will gang can’t stomach?

What exactly don’t they like about:

  • Build the wall.
  • Stop the Muslim terror flood.
  • Kill Obamacare.
  • Erase Common Core.
  • Solidify gun rights.
  • Slash taxes.
  • U-turn inversions.
  • Paint the art of the trade deal.

In reality, Bill Kristol & Co. love Trump’s takes.

What they can’t stand is being wrong – exactly how they’ve been for a year – as Trump:

  • Announced his candidacy.
  • Won every debate.
  • Spelled out policy details, such as how to fix the VA.
  • Drew expanding throngs.
  • Dominated the primaries.
  • Won the nomination in a delegate rout.

Charles Krauthammer and fellow travelers went down the Trump-can’t-win path. And can’t handle getting exposed for such spectacular idiocy.

They’re still at it. Just the other night former GOP Rep. John LeBoutillier told Fox News that Trump better be nervous since too much of the party doesn’t like him. WHAAAAT? After Donald drew the most Republican votes in primary history? And my namesake network keeps paying serious cash for the LeBoutilliers to spew this crap.

You know what’s at the heart of conservatives’ anti-Trump drumbeat? Embarrassment. People hate wiping egg off their face.

I felt that in my office from the Summer of Trump through New Hampshire and Indiana. Professional pundits full of themselves promised Rubio would topple the real-estate titan.

And when I stood tough with Trump, they dismissed me to cover up their humiliation.

As the faulty faction remains intransigent vs. Trump, these political nuts are looking more like the pouting Cruz.

Get over it, people. Listen to Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn, who delivered a harsh counter in Cleveland:

“Hurt feelings are not qualifiers for leadership.”

Or for the last word in Coulter’s new book: “In Trump We Trust.”

Come on over all ye Never-Trumpers. We await you with open arms and closed mouths. Let’s bury the hatchet and get someone who loves Our Country in the White House for a change.

No yolk.

  1. Amen, Brother. I think Fox is exactly right. All those folks need to relax a little. I was wrong. I got over it. It’s really not that hard. You just do it.

    • I used to blog with a guy called ‘Coyote’ from New Mexico (and then Houston) who was having trouble reconciling with God after a bad tour in Kuwait. I told him to go to the shitty little unimproved, rocky hot springs on the Rio Grande south of Taos. Told him to soak in the hot water and pay no attention to the naked hippie chicks. Get naked and soak til you’re good and sweaty. Then, roll over the rock wall into the cold, fast running water of the Rio Grande and just float with the current in the pitch black night. Look up at the moon and let go. Don’t worry about the rapids coming up. Don’t think about that.

What? There’s no moon? Well, shit. Go get dressed and come back on a night with a moon! You can’t let go if you can’t at least see the moon. Sheesh! But it’s the same with the NeverTrump shit. You just do it. But that little hot springs might get really crowded.

Considering the alternative, it should be rather easy.

Terry, you can add to your list a number of other supporters of Trump, Roger Stone, Michael Flaherty, tons of Navy Seals who are voting for Trump.

The media giant heads got it all wrong all the way. They’ve proved themselves to be idiots and blamed us for being of poor intelligence and uneducated. But those are all lies too. I’m a college educated person who was 2nd at the top of my classes.

I know many educated people on Twitter who are voting for Trump,

But still they are calling those of us who support Trump rubes.

I no longer pay any attention to these media bubble-heads. Their opinions don’t matter to me. And when Trump wins I’ll be cheering to see that egg all over their faces.

You might be right on this. Normally we call this stuck on stupid but it goes farther than this. It’s almost a cult thing.

No matter, it’s hypocritical considering all these NeverTrumpers bleat about their patriotism 24/7 yet they will de facto help Clinton. WTF!

    • Terry says:

It does seem to be a cult thing ‘Nox. Listening to the Mark Levin show there was caller after caller still pledging “Never Trump” with almost pride in their voice.

    • Peppermint says:

“No matter, it’s hypocritical considering all these NeverTrumpers bleat about their patriotism 24/7 yet they will de facto help Clinton. WTF!”

      Nox you nailed that one!

  5. Uriel says:

This is about something greater than one man. We have said this all along. 17 people started the field, one survived. In ANY competition that is the end result. If one had to swim shark infested waters with a leader, which would you chose? One who talks pretty or gets the job done with the most survivors? This is one of the paradigm moments in history which will either see our country and constitution succeed or fail. Sharks called communism, socialism, elitist for one world minus most inhabitants, and Islam are ranged against us. We have wars, threats of wars, and rumors of war spread on every side attacking Christianity and Jewish morals and civilization principles. One man Trump threw himself into winning when as Terry and others said he could have stayed within his comfort zone. Do I particularly like him? Irrelevant–so long as He calls it in layman terms and does his best to break the stranglehold of the enemy. We deal with that but make sure his “powers” don’t overreach the very laws he has chosen to defend. This is ONE nation of citizens doing their best not a partisanship nation –NOT a Democrat Party Nation, NOT a Republican Party Nation and sure as hell NOT a Communist or Islamic nation.

    • Terry says:

      Outstanding comment Uriel.
Absolutely, the time for well scripted pretty-talkers is over and for a pragmatic leader to take the reins.
While the left is calling Trump and his supporters the party of doom and gloom, I’d say we are the party of reality. Talking pretty ain’t gonna keep our country safe.

    • Cam says:

Uriel you said, ” We deal with that but make sure his “powers” don’t overreach the very laws he has chosen to defend.” How do you propose that happens when Obama has overreached on just about everything and the Republicans haven’t lifted a finger to stop him? Do you honestly think they would stop Trump? You Trumpkins can vote for Trump. No one is telling you not to. I simply don’t trust the man, he’s unstable.

      • Uriel says:

Cam. I know it seems hopeless but at some point steps have to be taken to reset and remove obama’s lawless EO. Convention of States I hope will help figure that out. If not them then we really will have future problems if we can’t get an amendment enacted to reduce POTUS powers and SCOTUS to conform to constitution limits.

      • Terry says:

So Cam, which candidate do you suppose the republicans would actually “lift a finger to stop” ?
Are you suggesting that Clinton is more stable than Trump ?

      • Hardnox says:

Cam, I’d be willing to bet you $1000 that when Trump becomes president Congress will magically find the long missing Constitution, blow off the dust, read it, and enforce the POTUS clauses. The effort will be bi-partisan and led by the republicans. Want to take that bet?

Trump wants to stem illegal aliens and close our open borders. He wants to end immigration from muslim lands that are proven terrorist havens. He wants to end the influence of special interest in Washington. He is pro-Second Amendment. Also, he has promised to appoint conservatives to the SCOTUS.

        Hillary wants the exact opposite.

        Wake up….

        • Uriel says:

Besides IF TRUMP wins every RINO and Democrat will be scrambling to make sure that Trump the Potus Never gains the upper hand which is really ironic.

          • Cam says:

Trump has been co-opted by the RINOs. Mitch and the rest of the RINOs are backing Trump in case you haven’t noticed.

        • Cam says:

HardNox, if I gambled I would take that bet. The Republicans in Congress are spineless and scared of their own shadow. The first time a Pres Trump called their sorry rears before the media to brow beat them into whatever they opposed him on, they would fold like a cheap shirt. You know it. Perhaps they would fight Hillary but even that’s doubtful. They have given Obama everything he wanted. They would do the same for Hillary . I can not vote for a man that the only record he has is a LIBERAL ONE. I can’t back a man who says, “I alone can fix it”. I’m very surprised you so called conservatives don’t have a problem with that one.

          • Terry says:

Cam, you need to learn to read more than the talking points, and listen past the sound bites of the left and the anti-Trumpers. You obviously know nothing of the man beyond that.

          • Hardnox says:

Cam, it’s real obvious that you haven’t bothered to learn much about Trump. Go to YouTube and view some videos going back to the 70’s and 80’s and get back with us.

As Terry pointed out you’re stuck on a few talking points. Seriously, take the time to learn. Yes, Trump has some issues but that could be said of any of the other 16 candidates including Cruz.

            • Cam says:

The reason I am against Trump IS because I have done my due diligence in finding out what kind of man Trump is. NOT talking points. Trumpkins are so predictable. Point out facts to you and your typical come back is “YES BUT”
