Common Core and the Saudi Connection – Part I

children must be taught

Thank you to a loyal reader and concerned patriot, carolinmd, who recently reminded me of a topic I had on my ‘to-do’ list that had been shoved to the back burner, but right now it needs some more exposure.

We’re reading more and more posts about Islam being taught in our schools while Christianity takes a back seat, when it gets a seat at all. For years, parents have been protesting the creeping sharia in our schools and lately it seems to be picking up speed.

Because there is so much information regarding this topic, we’ll break this down into three parts in order to make it more digestible.

Who is it that is so robustly pushing this agenda?

47th Annual Islamic Society of North America ConventionThe pushers are the Islamic Society of North America, another Muslim Brotherhood front group, along with Hamas-CAIR. Common Core’s origin and funding came from Qatar, Libya and Saudi Arabia.

Globally, Common Core originated from the “One World Education” concept, a global goal orchestrated by The Connect All Schools program. Its origin is funded by the Qatar Foundation International (QFI). The director of QFI’s Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics is Tariq Ramadan, grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder, Hassan al-Banna.

Domestically Common Core was ‘created’ by a conglomeration of the National Governor’s Association (NGA), Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), Achieve Inc., ACT and the College Board. The Common Core State Standards are copyrighted by the NGA and CCSSO, a private company, which means they cannot be changed.

Pearson Education, an NGA donor and CCSSO’s listed business and industry partner, is integral to Common Core. They design education products and services to institutions, governments as well as direct to individual learners. Listed on the London and New York Stock Exchange, of its numerous investors, the Libyan Investment Authority is its largest financial contributor, holding 26 million shares.

Libya Investment Authority Lost Millions In Hedge Funds While Paying ...According to the Financial Times, the Libyan Investment Authority was founded by Muammer Gaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam; more than five Gaddifi family members own shares. The Council on Islamic Relations (CAIR, a recently designated terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates), Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the Muslim Brotherhood all heavily invested in Pearson Education through the Libyan Investment Authority.

Despite this connection, according to the Guardian, Pearson Education claims, as a public company operating in a free market, it has no control over its shareholders’ terrorist related activities.

Remember the QFI – the Qatar Foundation International? According to the WND, in 2011, QFI “partnered with the Department of State and the Department of Education to facilitate matchmaking between classrooms in the U.S. and international schools through the ‘Connect All Schools’ project.” QFI states on its website that the initiative was founded in response to O’s infamous 2009 Cairo speech, during which the Muslim Brotherhood was seated in the front row.

Although Bill Gates claimed that there was no need to build national Common Core curriculum, he has, through his grant program, quietly funded its development in excess of $10 million, with Common Core Inc. being the first to receive a grant.

As well as O’s mentor, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, received $49.2 million from Vartan Gregorian, a board member of the Qatar Foundation, who also is involved with O’s White House Fellowships Commission. Gregorian is an integral part of Connect All Schools, through which Qatar invested $5 million to teach Arabic in American public schools.

It’s doubtful that most parents, and perhaps some educators are aware of this information because it’s simply deeper and broader than they have the time to spend researching it. They need to know the truth.  To keep our country we have to protect our kids.

Tomorrow – Part II on the big bucks received by the creators of Common Core.

Wow! That’s interesting. I look forward to part II.

  3. Kathy says:

Thanks, guys. I knew there was a Saudi or ME connection, but I had no idea the extent of it and the dollars involved is mind-boggling.

Great article Kathy…that in depth discovery of the parts and pieces of the Arabic financial accomdation pushed into Americas education system is just what the people need to see as a wake up call so they can start realizing something must to be done about these connections that have no business interfering with the educations of our children. That the American educators have allowed this financial infiltration into our public education system is appalling.
I’ve read numerous articles about the outrage of the parents, but not of many, if any changes being made to their established curriculum. These changes must be made quickly, or all of America’s public school kids are going to end up carrying prayer rugs in the book bags. The deeper this is allowed to set in as part of the accepted norm, the harder it will be to undo the damage.

They’ve worked for decades at dumbing down the education process and doing that has made it so much simpler to bring in the islam facet. A lot of the states just saw the dollar signs and went for the dangling carrot.

We have zero chances of changing this unless we get a conservative president in place who will go after the fat cats behind this. A dem won’t do it nor will a dem lite such as Bush.

    Fantastic exposé, Kathy.

Show me a surreptitious operation to manipulate and indoctrinate children (and adults!) and I’ll show you a bunch of leftists at the root of it all.
