Evil Cop Attacking “Gentle Giant” Black Dude

After the first couple of minutes of this video, you might want to turn the sound down else you’ll be subjected to hearing the guy wielding the camera shouting the same couple of profane phrases over, and over, and over, ad nauseam. The “gentle giant,” who already had two warrants for his arrest outstanding, is being restrained in preparation to arresting him – or at least that’s what was supposed to happen – but things didn’t go as planned. The suspect also had a record of assault and simply would not do as the officer directed and he resisted arrest. It seems open and shut to me that he was going to jail, regardless of his “innocence” as continually avowed by the camera guy.

Instead of showing the “gentle giant’s” innocence, the video shows remarkable constraint on the part of the officer (also black) while preventing the suspect from getting away. The suspect had been “arrested,” even though he’d not yet been subdued enough to place handcuffs on him and he continued to attempt to escape several times. The plainclothes officer was justified in doing whatever was necessary to prevent the suspect from getting away until backup arrived. I’m amazed that the officer was physically able to keep the suspect boxed in until help arrived.

It also shows that regardless of political correctness, the much smaller female officer wasn’t any help when it came to restraining the large and determined suspect. I realize that she was also under cover, and probably had reason to be there, but were it not for her partner, Saykou George (the suspect) would have escaped. This is what our police are up against. A large, belligerent and uncooperative suspect, with warrants out for his arrest, prefers not to go quietly – what else are they to do? Kudos to the NYPD plainclothes officer who was determined to prevent the suspect’s escape.

The suspect is LUCKY that he was being arrested by a strong, qualified and determined NYPD officer. A lesser officer would have been forced to revert to one of two options: let him go, or pull his/her sidearm and be prepared to shoot – neither option is a good one. Will these belligerent and argumentative black petty criminals ever realize that doing as they’re told and accepting arrest is the smartest (and safest) action when stopped by the police? This guy is lucky that he didn’t get shot.

Some people are just slow learners. Belligerent too. The big dude was lucky he didn’t get shot. As you stated, the female officer was worthless.

Was the cameraman a tranny? 🙂

You’re right – I had to mute the volume because the cameraman doesn’t have enough brain cells to put together a complete sentence.

Had it not been for the Eric Garner case, would this cop have used more force? Did that incident stymie the actions cops take now? There’s a lot of things that could have gone wrong with that scene because it was taking so long to restrain the guy.

Seems to me this was more a seized moment for a bit of fame. Everything was done Because the camera was there. Of course, had it ended differently. Mouth behind the camera would be on the horn right away to his boss to get the cash for his pocket. His friend would have been dead but hey doubt he cared. Just more cash for him.
