The Hammer and Sickle That Hangs Over the White House

Surely the biggest news isn’t that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has files obtained by Judicial Watch revealing that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government—but that the FBI is sitting on those files doing diddle-y-squat about them.

Knowing that the FBI has never moved on documented proof that Jarrett’s family tree reads like the Who’s Who of Communism is akin to the in-’yer-face instructions of one William “Big Bill” Haywood (1869-1928), founder of Industrial Workers of the World and jailed for speaking against World War 1.  Big Bill who fled to Moscow was cremated, leaving half his ashes in Chicago’s Waldheim Cemetery and the other half over the Kremlin. A one-upmanship kind of message beyond the grave advising: “Take THAT you capitalist creeps!”

Also dead,  but still sending out loud messages from Waldheim Cemetery is Frank A. Pellegrino (1890-1969) whose grave features a hammer and sickle. (Graveyards.com)

Valerie Jarrett’s hammer and sickle hangs right over the White House.

Some Chicago residents aren’t convinced that the dead communists buried in Waldheim are really among the dearly departed because of the bustle of life that continues around their graves.

That’s because busloads of pilgrims keep coming, year after year,  to pay last respects to the Communists interred at Waldheim Cemetery.

“Because it was unassociated with any religious institution, it was chosen as burial place of the Haymarket martyrs. After they were buried there, the cemetery became a place of pilgrimage for anarchists, leftists, and union members. Due to the importance of the event in history, and the monuments’ role as an international pilgrimage site, the Haymarket memorial was the first cemetery memorial to be designated a National Historic Landmark.[citation needed]. The Haymarket Martyrs’ Monument was designed by sculptor Albert Weinert. (Wikipedia)

“German Waldheim Cemetery, previously known as Waldheim Cemetery, and currently Forest Home Cemetery is located at 863 Des Plaines Ave. in Forest Park, a suburb of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois.[1] It was originally founded in 1873 as a non-religion-specific cemetery, where Freemasons, Romani, and German-speaking immigrants to Chicago could be buried without regard for religious affiliation. In 1969, it merged with the adjacent Forest Home Cemetery, also founded in 1873, with the combined cemetery being called Forest Home (Waldheim means forest home in German).

In homage to the Haymarket Martyrs, many other anarchists and socialists are buried at Waldheim, including:

Slim Brundage[2]
Voltairine de Cleyre
Eugene Dennis
Joseph Dietzgen
Raya Dunayevskaya
Elizabeth Gurley Flynn
William Z. Foster

Chicago has been a hot bed for Communism in the US for more than 100 years. The University of Chicago has had an active group since the ‘30s and many of them still live in Hyde Park and Chicago. I would not be surprised if a number of Obama’s neighbors in Hyde Park have been involved in the Communist Party of the USA, Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, or Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights. (Northwestindiana.com)

Chicago is the birthplace of American communism.

About this time last year, more than 300 followers came to celebrate the Communist Party’s 95th anniversary at the University of Illinois in Chicago for a convention which featured three days of speeches, panel discussions and workshops.  One session was devoted to catching up with the online era. (Canada Free Press, June 17, 2014)

“A cheerleader for the Russian Revolution in the early 20th century and a leader in the labor movement during the Depression; hounded during the McCarthy era and orphaned after the fall of the Soviet Union, the Communist Party USA on Friday returned to Chicago, the city of its birth.” (Chicago Tribune, June 14, 2014)

“Friday morning,  (ordained Catholic priest Tim) Yeager led a bus tour of some party history. The first stop was at the Haymarket statue on Desplaines Street just north of Randolph Street, where in 1886 a bomb thrown during a labor rally killed seven police officers and at least one civilian.

“Known radicals, some not even present at the rally, were rounded up, speedily convicted and hanged. Several were buried at Waldheim Cemetery in Forest Park, making it a pilgrimage site for labor activists and the second stop on Friday’s tour.”

20-20 hindsight shows that even as Reagan was uttering his immortal ” “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” Barack Obama was being Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn-groomed as the programmed Marxist who would one day take over the White House.

“The long road to Barack Hussein Obama’s presidency was laid back in 1975.  With infinite patience, it was laid step by step by radicals working from the inside, in a strategy that promised its adherents in writing, “The certainty that we will see revolution in our lifetime.” (Canada Free Press, Nov. 2, 2008)

The book ‘Red Chicago: American Communism at it’s grassroots’ chronicles Chicago’s leading role in Communism. (Northwestindiana.com)

“May Day, a sign of International Workers Day and a Communist holiday, was actually started because of the Haymarket Affair in Chicago in 1886. Strikers of the McCormick Harvest Machine Corp gathered at Haymarket Square (Randolph and Des Plaines). When police arrived to break up the strike, a bomb was thrown into the police line killing one police officer. The Police opened fire and 8 police officers and 4 protesters. The majority of the officers killed were judged to have died from friendly fire in the nighttime confusion after the bomb blast.”

“The Haymarket Martyrs’ Monument is a funeral monument located at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Dedicated in 1893, it commemorates the defendants involved in the labor unrest and bombing related to the Haymarket Affair (1886). On February 18, 1997, it was designated a National Historic Landmark, and on April 26, 2002, listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. (Wikipedia)

“Following the Haymarket affair, trial and executions, August Spies, Adolph Fischer, George Engel, Louis Lingg, and Albert Parsons were buried at the German Waldheim Cemetery (later merged with Forest Home Cemetery).

“The Pioneer Aid and Support Association organized a subscription for a funeral monument. In 1893, the Haymarket Martyrs’ Monument by sculptor Albert Weinert was raised at Waldheim. It consists of a 16-foot-high granite shaft capped by a carved triangular stone. There is a two step base, which also supports a monumental figure of a woman standing over the body of a fallen worker, both in bronze. It was dedicated on June 25, 1893, after a march from Chicago. The inscription on the steps read, “1887,” the year of the executions. Also, there is a quote attributed to Spies, recorded just before his execution by hanging: “The day will come when our silence will be more powerful than the voice you are throttling today.” On the back of the monument are listed the names of the men. On the top of the monument, a bronze plaque contains text of the pardon later issued by Illinois governor John Peter Altgeld

“The dedication ceremony was attended by 8000, with union flags and the American flag draped on the monument. European unions and American organizations sent flowers to be placed. Many activists and labor leaders were subsequently buried nearby. Michael Schwab and Oscar Neebe were also buried at Waldheim when they died. Samuel Fielden is the only Haymarket defendant who is not buried at Forest Home. For years, annual commemorations were held.”

What about a monument for the seven police officers killed during the Haymarket affair?

“The Chicago Police Monument was there until it was blown up by the Weatherman in October 1968 and again in October 1970 (after it was repaired). Ironically by the Weathermen, founder of whom Bill Ayers is a close colleague of Barack Obama.  (Northwestindiana.com)

“As for the tie in’s of Labor to the Communist Party they go back to that time frame as well. Both the AFL and the CIO (before they merged.) have strong communist influences and even had a US Government sponsored tour of the Soviet Union and meetings with Stalin in the early 1930s. The Unions and the Department of Agriculture started to form Cooperative farms saying that outright ownership of farms should be greatly restricted and efficiency of government farming was superior.

“Chicago communism has also had strong ties to the Black Power Movement, the Anti War movement, any Labor movement in Chicago.”

Meanwhile, scores of people know that the hammer and sickle hang over the Oval Office, courtesy of Valerie Jarrett.

The burning question is: What’s the FBI doing about it?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

To think that the FBI will do anything about it one has to be a PSP’er…… Most in that agency are probably CC’s ( Closet Communists) themselves!

Well…at least we know where and when the communists hang out together. When it comes time to clean up the nation, we can be give them a good-bye party!

The FBI, or any other agency, hasn’t stepped up even once in the past 6-1/2 years, and they’re not about to start now. They’re all busy covering up their own tracks of corruption.

Even if they did, O would just ignore it like he has other objectionable issues, including one judge who told him to stop. None of this phases him in the least.

    • Blessed B. says:

Yep! You nailed it Kathy! All the agencies are busy doing the CYA dance! Obi won’t stop until he is stopped by something he can’t ignore so easily…. a firing squad comes to mind….

  2. Clyde says:

Good post, but sadly enough, those of us paying attention have known this for WAY since before Obama was scammed in. McCarthy was right way back when, and still would be today.

  3. vonmesser says:

AFofL, CIO, in the past (but never refuted or really moved away). AFSCME, and most lately SIEU are unrepentant Communists with one goal: Destroy America.

  4. Hardnox says:

I know a number of FBI agents as well as other fed LEOs that are disgusted with this administration but they are too scared to do anything because of the thuggery of this cabal. Anyone that attempted any whistleblowing these last 6-1/2 years has had their careers destroyed and no support from Congress either.

Kudos for Canada Free press for exposing the marxists within but nothing will happen until 2017 when a new prez is seated, and even then it is doubtful that the R’s will purge the bad actors from our government. We need another McCarthy.

    • Blessed B. says:

Yep…. this Admin. has every one scared to do anything or even to say BOO! I just pray that there will be something worth fighting for by the time 2017 comes around…..
