Quote Of The Day — June 1, 2015

.
The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him.

  1. Hardnox says:

Yep, Putt has only 8% of his advisors that have ANY private sector experience. The lowest by far than ANY other president. Most former presidents ranged in the 60’s and 70’s.

Thus is the result of our national plight. We have the ignorant advising the clueless.

  2. Grouchy says:

And of that other 30%, MOST were experts in their fields of endeavor. Not ONE had a fifth columnist in their cabinet, or among their advisors, by choice knowingly.

  3. CW says:

If you look at the people around Obama, it clearly suggests he’s an intelligent man. Despite working against the will of most of the nation, he’s been able to advance an unpopular and self-destructive agenda thanks to people like Eric Holder, Valerie Jarrett, Harry Reid, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Jonathon Gruber and so many others. I think it’s more important to look at the people surrounding a ruler if you want to understand that ruler’s intentions for the country. That’s where Obama’s choice of friends and minions really becomes telling.

    • Grouchy says:

Your points are well taken, CW. And with Kerry following the lead of Hitllary, and the RINO’s sucking up to the obomination, PLUS your points as noted, this Nation has really almost it rock bottom.
How in the Name of the Universe the tyrant wannabe has lasted this long is a wonder to behold, indeed~!

  4. Buck says:

I have been saying this for a long time. A tyrant will not have people around him smarter than himself if for no other reason than fear the smarter person will either cause his downfall or take the throne away.

  5. Garnet92 says:

What Obama has done is surround himself with academics. While they are supposedly “experts” in their respective fields, few if any have any real world experience – their expertise is almost entirely based on theories and postulation, little has been proven in actual application.

It’s obvious that Obama puts little stock in real world, hands on experience (he has none), he’s been steeped in Alinsky and Cloward-Piven theories and nurtured by his communist and socialist mentors. It’s all he knows. And even though most of his advisors are much smarter than he is, he still has the final say, regardless of how misguided his decision might be. His position as POTUS gives him the power to override any of his much smarter advisors and do what’s wrong anyway.

    • Grouchy says:

The obomination came in with an agenda to destroy the United States as it was founded, and survived for over two hundred years.
He promised “I will fundamentally change America.” And he has.
Further, on 02-10-2014, he made this comment:
      ” Obama: I’m pResident; I Can Do Whatever I Want – 2/10/2014 ”

His ego and his narcissism are totally unbounded.

As for his advisors being smarter than he, that was true at one time. Those who were, are now either quit on him, or he has fired / released them. Look at the duncecap on General Dempsey~!,,, and where is General McChrystal?????

  6. Clyde says:

Yep. 8% with any private sector experience, and ZERO common sense. Machiavelli was right, AND foresaw the BECS.

    • Grouchy says:

For all their faults and shortcomings, look at the difference between the advisory committees of Truman, Kennedy, Reagan and G.W.Bush, as against those of Clinton and Obama. Even more telling, look at their moral and ethical standards.
There is almost no commonality for comparison.
