Quote Of The Day — May 28, 2015

A man must know his destiny. if he does not recognize it, then he is lost. By this I mean, once, twice, or at the very most, three times, fate will reach out and tap a man on the shoulder. if he has the imagination, he will turn around and fate will point out to him what fork in the road he should take, if he has the guts, he will take it.”

General George S. Patton, (11 November 1885 – 21 December 1945)

Hmmm… quite thought-provoking, Grouchy! I think Patton was right but I hate to acknowledge it because I’m probably one of those who still hasn’t figured out her destiny.

Don’t feel lonesome, Dove~! MANY, if not most, of us are in the same boat. And the only thing that comes to my mind is, “Follow your passion.” Do the things that really float your cork, so to speak.
Not everyone will agree with you, but you’ll reach those who need your services.

Good quote and absolutely true. Opportunity only knocks a few times in life.

    • Grouchy says:

That’s where the “I wish,,,” and the “If Only”‘s come in,,, and the life lived is one of regret for missed opportunities comes in,,,

No question Patton was spot-on, GF. Good one.
