Quote Of The Day — May 23, 2015

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.”

John Adams,  (October 30, 1735 — July 04, 1826), The Portable John Adams

There are two ways to conquer / John Adams

There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by sword, the other is by debt.

    John Adams

  2. Hardnox says:

Facts and the left are mutually exclusive. Unfortunately, the left always opines about those pesky “unforeseen consequences” that we always warned them about long beforehand.

    • Grouchy says:

AMEN~! What is the old saying, “Act in haste, repent at leisure”??? The hell of it is, the left never repents, NOR learns from experience.

  3. CW says:

Truer words were never spoken. The Left’s pretense that they can circumvent the facts has led to serious problems for this nation.

    • Grouchy says:

CW, – Hammer, meet Nail-head. And will continue to cause problems as long as we have a one party nation. Yes, it SUPPOSEDLY is a two-party system, but in actuality, there’s no difference once one or the other is elected.

  4. Clyde says:

Obviously the left has NEVER understood the meaning and context of this quote, GF. Good find.

    • Grouchy says:

Greetings, Clyde. As the Texan has asked, on more than one occasion, in reference to the left, “You’re a SPECIAL kind of Stupid, ain’t ya?”
      ‘Nuff said.

  5. Uriel says:

Good quote. Shame some people manipulate a lie their way through truth though

    • Grouchy says:

Some folks don’t know the difference twixt a sewer and a Rose Garden, either, Uriel. And THAT is a shame, as well!
