By Blessed B, who is simply disgusted!
It is a sad day in the Province of Alberta, Canada. Yesterday was voting day for the Premier of Alberta. After 44 years of having the Progressive Conservatives govern our Province, we now have the circus of clowns running this “Have” Province. Yes…the unthinkable happened….the New Democrat Party ( OR New Dhimmi Party as I call them) are now in charge! We are so screwed!
The PCs robbed this great Province blind…being more Progressive than Conservative! The last election though the Leader of the PCs stated that this wasn’t our Father’s Conservative Party…and the PSPs in the Province didn’t understand what that meant , but they voted for Ms. Redford cuz the Wildrose Party was going to give everyone in the Province a piece of the pie. Yes…every Albertan would get $300.00 dollars after the budget was balanced and all outstanding debt was paid off. The PSPs couldn’t have single moms getting that money cuz Lord forbid…they’d just spend it on bingo halls and cigarettes! So…they voted the PCs in again…when we had a real choice for the Wildrose Party to do some good.
Ms. Redford left office early. She was spending our monies faster than you can say Jack Be Nimble! Her last escapade was to buy a large Penthouse Palace for herself, for a few million of tax payers monies. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back. She left office on her own accord. Stepping down, cuz she was going to be thrown out!
Alberta has had a Heritage Fund forever! Since the PCs came into office here. Revenue from our Oil Sands was to go into this fund for rainy days and emergencies. It’s too bad that four out of five of our Premiers thought it was all their’s to take, leaving us with nothing for the rainy days and emergencies. Only one Premier, Ralph Klein, gave anything back to the people before he left office. He might have been a lush but at least he didn’t rob us blind!
Now we have the NDP! In every Province they have been in power ( British Columbia and Ontario) they bled dry! If we survive the next four years as a”have” Province…it will be a darn miracle! I think I hear the Requiem for the Dead starting to play! We’ll see a Provincial sales tax, a carbon tax and many more stupid things imposed upon us!
Thanks to all the Easterners who came here during the boom a few years back! Your stupidity has taken us down the path to complete ruin! Now you can go back to Ontario! I guess our transfer payments will not be forthcoming Quebec and Ontario…so you better learn how to balance a budget now. We’ll be joining you in the bread lines! I thought Albertans were smarter than this…..guess I thought wrong!
Here is what The Rebel Media with Ezra Levant has to say about it all!
Alberta Votes: Ezra Levant Reacts to NDP Majority
After a 44 year reign in Alberta, the Progressive Conservatives lost the election to the NDP. But is anyone surprised?
Ezra Levant breaks down why Alberta swung left and voted for NDP.
But the real question is, how will Rachel Notley run the province that is the backbone of Canada’s economy?
Ten interesting things about the NDP win in Alberta
The NDP win in Alberta is unprecedented — the party has never been more than a fringe. But what does it mean?
Ezra has ten thoughts on the night’s earthquake.
How will the new Premier, Rachel Notley, manage a caucus of accidental MLAs — including candidates so young, many are still in school?
Will Notley still oppose fracking, pipelines and oilsands expansion — or will she put jobs and economic growth first?
Notley’s husband, Lou Arab, is a senior union boss with CUPE. Will the unions gorge themselves on Canada’s most industrious province?
For Ezra’s answers to these and other perplexing questions, you won’t want to miss his sizzling hot take on the news. It’s a point of view you won’t find anywhere else.

Alberta election: What taxpayers should be worried about — no matter who wins
I talk about possible Alberta election scenarios with Paige Macpherson, the new Alberta director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
Higher taxes are her main concern, especially the re-introduction of the Health Services Tax under the new Prentice budget should he win reelection.
Macpherson also talks about what to expect if other parties win a majority.
