“A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.”
Martin Luther King Jr., (January 15, 1929, April 04, 1968) The Autobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr.

That’s most profound, Grouchy. Thanks!
MLK, Jr. is one man whose fame grew after his death. We didn’t fully realize his value while he was here.
Didn’t/Don’t agree with MLK most/a lot of the time.
But gotta agree with him here.
G’Morning, Buck. Sure puts a different twist on the phrase, “To die for”, doesn’t it~!~?
The commitment to succeed is only eclipsed by the need to continue a fight worthy enough to be committed to. Only real fights are those to whom a death has true meaning for centuries not decades. Martin Luther championed such a fight so did Patrick Henry, George Washington, and a host of others. It is the generations of today who must also make a decisive stand. Not for death of a nation but for its values and life.
It can not be achieved by discord or disharmony, childish finger pointing, or religious righteousness, but by honest effort to bring strength to repel adversaries and return to truth and human values. Hydra was not defeated by cutting off one head but by recognition of the heart and strikes to that place. If we have discord then follow it back and find the heart here, excise it by removal otherwise continued chaos and destruction are inevitable.
How so very right you are, Uriel.
I nominate these comments as “Comments of the Post”.
But I’m afraid that the heart of the hydra goes back to the time of Abraham. And the cure will be fierce, indeed.
