O’Reilly: The War on Christianity Getting Even Worse

Here is an interesting segment from Bill O’Reilly:

He’s right too.  There hasn’t been much pushback from Christian clerics.  Most are too stuck on all the political correctness crap.  Muslims, homos, and the left don’t have that problem.

If people don’t stand up for their rights and the things they hold dear one day they will awaken and discover that they have none.

It is becoming obvious that reporters with these groups need to be put in their place and their mag rags boycotted. It is also obvious that we ALL need to be more aware as Christians of “seemingly random” or hateful people trying to start riots or hurt Christians. I wonder if for every possible incident police were called for disturbing the peace would it help or would they even bother to respond.

There are 2 misconceptions in our society now. One is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle you either hate or fear it. Not true.

The other is that if you love someone, you agree with everything they do or say. Also not true.

Homos think they can live their lifestyle and be good Christians at the same time, so what they’re really looking for from the rest of us is absolution. When they don’t get it, they attack.

I don’t think you’re ever going to see religious leaders, pastors, priests, for example, stand up to these lynch mobs.

This issue is an American Constitution one and the business of faith based leaders is to make sure people hear the Good News and to disciple the faithful.

The problem is not these religious leaders.

It is the lack of justice and backing the Constitution in our government and until that turns around we’re on our way into godless communism as a society. The UK made it before us. Keep your eye on them. That’s where we’re going.

I agree. The clerics of Christianity are too timid to stand up and say “That’s wrong”. Far too many of them just want to “go along to get along”. Unfortunately, the ones who do speak out are too often the whack-jobs like Westboro Baptist, which I think is a hate group.

As much as I loathe the Bloviator, he’s right on this one. IF the pushback ever comes, it’s going to be fugly.
