Hillary Clinton to testify before Trey Gowdy – grab the popcorn!

Former U.S. Attorney: ‘Hillary Clinton Is Going to Have to Testify in a Federal Court’

From: breitbart.com, by: John Nolte, on: April 1, 2015, see the article HERE.

Hillary - who the hell do you think you are

Who the HELL do you think you are? I’m Hillary the Magnificent, you can’t talk to me like that!

Regarding her 50 year quest to be president, Hillary Clinton is entering a legitimate danger zone on a number of fronts. One of the reasons Democrats have stood by her throughout this email scandal has been her poll numbers against all potential GOP challengers. Democrats had convinced themselves that voters wouldn’t care about the scandal, or at least that was the public spin.

No more.

Two new polls in key swing states show Hillary in a legitimate freefall. Jeb Bush now beats her in Florida by two points. She only leads Marco Rubio by one. Last month, in the same poll, she led both by TEN points. In Pennsylvania, Republican Senator Rand Paul beats Hillary 45% – 44%.

In both states her favorability ratings has dipped below 50%. She still leads the pack by 5 points in Ohio.

For weeks after the email controversy broke, Martin O’Malley, a potential Clinton challenger for the Democrat nomination, was mum on the email scandal.

No more.

O’Malley assumed a very aggressive stance Tuesday saying if Clinton has nothing to hide she should come forward and talk openly about it.  This is just two days after O’Malley  said of Bush and Clinton, “The presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families.”

Other than her wrongdoing and the fact that (unlike Whitewater, cattle futures and adultery) using a secret server and deleting emails while under a Congressional request is an easy scandal for the public understand, there is also the matter of Trey Gowdy.

As Chairman of the House Select Committee investigating the Benghazi cover-up (the same committee that found Hillary’s secret email account the media missed), Gowdy is unlike anything the Clintons have faced before. He has thus far brilliantly avoided all the usual “overreach” traps the Clintons and their media allies set for Republicans.

Using a quiet strategy that doesn’t allow the media to turn the story into a Trey Gowdy Story, the former prosecutor has been able to make public the damaging facts about Hillary’s secretive and potentially criminal behavior without any blowback. The same media that has openly savored the idea of Republican overreach since the scandal broke has thus been unable to latch onto anything to rescue Clinton from her corrupt behavior.

Unlike the media, Gowdy is determined to uncover the truth about Hillary’s secret emails and Obama’s Benghazi cover-up. And for the first time, the media, the Clintons and Obama appear to have met their match.

~~~~~~~~~~
Friends and neighbors, I don’t think that our faith in Trey Gowdy has been misplaced. I know that things haven’t moved as swiftly as we had hoped – I know I’m frustrated. But I read an article today that made an excellent case for Gowdy’s pace and tactics. So far, he has not been pummeled by the media for overly political pursuit of Hilldabeast and has been assembling (behind the scenes) evidence relative to testimony anticipated by witnesses. In other words, he wants to already know the answer when he asks a question, and when the witness tries to bullshit him, WHAMMO, he springs the trap. Then, after the witness has perjured him/herself, he can offer immunity from prosecution in exchange for damming testimony relative to Hillzebub’s actions.
As the article above says, Hillcifer and Obummer have finally met their match.
    Good piece.
    I hope you’re right. I too have a great deal of faith in Gowdy but have been frustrated by the pace. I know we all want Gowdy to drive a stake into the Hildabeast.
    Now a twofer… Putt & Hillabeast? That would be worth waiting for.
    Popcorn ready…
    • Garnet92 says:
      Thanks Nox. I think that we all feel the same. Like a kid, I want my indictment, and I want it NOW! But Gowdy is slow-walking the investigation and I’m hoping that one of his reasons is to wait until Hillary has committed and the dems can’t replace her and then expose what he’s found – just in time to torpedo her campaign.
  2. Kathy says:
    Indeed, Gowdy’s pace is extremely frustrating, and I have to remind myself that he’s probably intentionally dragging this thing out to keep her candidacy up in the air.
    She would love to see this issue behind her and neatly locked away in a filing cabinet somewhere, because it would be difficult to announce she’s running only to be dragged into court in the middle of her campaign.
    My concern is that in dragging it out so long he’s giving her too much time to destroy evidence – key evidence that would put her in the slammer for the rest of her miserable life and O in the cell next to her.
    • Garnet92 says:
      Agree with your summation Kathy. I doubt that his timing did anything to accelerate her destruction of the emails, those were probably wiped clean weeks ago. I suspect that he will have other ways to skewer her – and her campaign.
  3. Uriel says:
    I have the butter. I think Gowdy is intimately knowledgable of law and politics. He has avoided the very traps others with facts have fallen into. Southerners are classically slow talking and slow walking. Don’t underestimate us though. By the time we get to the same place as the rabbit, we have had a chance to view every nuance the rabbit missed. Gowdy has been in politics in bumpkusville long enough to get to the heart of every way to extract with reasonable success. I watch his videos grilling these guys and cringe. They literally trip over tongue and look like duffoons when his 5 min are up.
    • Garnet92 says:
      Agree with your assessment too Uriel. He told us at the beginning that he was going to proceed step by step constructing a case and that he wouldn’t be rushed. That said, I’m ready for the come-to-Jesus session when he drives a stake through that black heart of Hildabeast.
  4. Grouchy says:
    Popcorn ready. Because this is not going to be like her first trip: “What difference, at this point, does it make~!~?”,,, NOR will it be ANYTHING like the Lois Lerner fiasco.
  5. I.R. Wayright says:
    They are not going to get anything useful out of Hillary. The truth isn’t in her. She will either take the fifth or claim she can’t recall or doesn’t have any specific memory of the facts. If she plays stupid though, I hope it wakes up some of her borderline supporters. Save the tapes though, they’ll make good fodder for campaign commercials for who ever runs against her, assuming she gets that far.
    I belive the dem candidate will be Martin O’Malley, unless he steps on his own d***.
    • Garnet92 says:
      Thanks for your comment I.R. I agree that she’ll use the tried and true Clinton mantra of deny, deny, deny. She’ll never admit to anything though. Taking the fifth would be a bad move for her – I don’t think that it would go over very well with voters and that’s what she’s playing for now – winning the presidency.
  6. carolinmd says:
    I also hope and pray that you’re right…It has been a long hard road to get to this point and we are definitely due for a big win somewhere in this struggle…I know we have only been riding in the sidecar on this trip, but only because of the limitations time, money and just plain reality ties us to. Our hearts and souls are all together in the desire to save what most of us felt would always be ours. Obama pulled the rug out from under our comfort zones, leaving us floundering and grabbing for straws trying to figure out how to get back on solid ground.
    Trey Gowdy is a big straw we need to push the agenda forward to halt the spread of the administration from hell.
    • Garnet92 says:
      Carol, I think that we all want Hillary to get what’s coming to her since some of her guilt must also rub off onto Obama. It’s unlikely that she was doing anything that he wasn’t aware of and complicit in. We won’t see true justice for either of them, but at least we can feel some satisfaction when she loses the presidential race – badly.
  7. Susan S. Lindsey says:
    Mr Cummings doesn’t seem to want to get to the heart of Benghazi. Why? Talk about Partisan.
    • Garnet92 says:
      Welcome Susan! By now, we all recognize Elijah as being there to muck up the works; to get in the way and prohibit the committee from finding any definitive evidence to point to Hillary. That’s all he’s for, a blocker, nothing more. He contributes nothing positive to the investigation.
  8. CW says:
    I hope Gowdy and other Republicans will treat the hearings as the fact-finding missions they are supposed to be and avoid grandstanding as much as possible, although I know Democrats will make that difficult if not impossible. The facts by themselves are damning enough, so there is no need to risk the appearance of a partisan witch hunt, especially since the media will be itching to report it as a witch hunt.
    Questions for Mrs. Clinton:
    – You said you used your own private server for convenience. If that was the objective, wouldn’t it have been more convenient to use the existing gov’t servers rather than set up your own?
    – Do you own more than one device capable of sending and receiving email?
    – Were you aware that you can manage more than one email account on one device?
    – Do you respect the right of the American public to have access to non-classified gov’t communications that relate to the business of their country?
    – Do you consider your personal convenience to have priority over ensuring transparency of public information?
    – Why should you be treated differently than any other State Dept. employee?
    – Given that we are told all emails have been deleted from your private server, what is the recourse of the American people if your actions have hindered legitimate investigations?
    – Besides being the law and State Department policy, don’t you think it’s just common sense to make sure those communications were preserved on the server?
    I could come up with a lot more but that’s a start.
    • Garnet92 says:
      Good job CW and I’ll bet that some of those are already on Gowdy’s list. It’ll be interesting to hear how she responds to those questions, especially since Gowdy probably already has a “decision tree” made up of “if she says xxx, ask her about yyy,” if she says zzz, ask her about aaa, etc. I’m sure Gowdy is smart enough to anticipate what her answers might be and will be prepared for whatever she says.
      I’d love to be a fly on the wall as David Kendall preps her for her testimony – can you imagine?
  9. tannngl says:
    I still find Trey Goudy doing some bloviateing on FOX news with Greta or one of the other personalities. I think the most recent was Megyn Kelly.
    He talks a lot…
    I’m still waiting for his investigation to do something.
    I’ll wait. Hope I don’t get obese eating popcorn while I wait.
    Thanks, Garnet. Hope this aritlcle is right.
