ASSHAT ALERT : “Climate Change Wisdom” From John Effing Kerry

This past Thursday, the “illustrious” SecState, John Effing Kerry ( I won’t bore you with the rest) took to the altar, sounding like the Prelate Of Pretentiousness, pontificating about global warming.

You know, my friends, this shit is REALLY getting old. Our “fairy tale” today has two parts, here’s the first, from Patrick Goodenough at

Kerry: Climate Change an ‘Elementary Truth’ – Like the Laws of Gravity

March 12, 2015 – 6:50 PM

By Patrick Goodenough

( – That climate change is happening and that humans are largely responsible should be as universally accepted as the law of gravity, Secretary of State John Kerry suggested Thursday.

“When an apple falls from a tree, it will drop toward the ground. We know that because of the basic laws of physics,” he said in a speech at the Atlantic Council in Washington. “Science tells us that gravity exists, and no one disputes that.”

“So when science tells us that our climate is changing and humans beings are largely causing that change, by what right do people stand up and just say, ‘Well, I dispute that’ or ‘I deny that elementary truth?’ ”

And yet some do, Kerry said, pointing – without naming the state – to recent reports claiming that state officials in Florida had banned the use of the term “climate change” in official documents. (Florida Gov. Rick Scott has denied the claim.)

“Literally a couple of days ago, I read about some state officials who are actually trying to ban the use of the term ‘climate change’ in public documents because they’re not willing to face the facts,” he said.

Kerry’s global warming activism goes back decades, predating his almost three-decade Senate career. He told Thursday’s audience it went “back to Earth Day when I’d come back from Vietnam.” (Kerry returned from active service in Vietnam in 1969; the inaugural Earth Day was in 1970.)

As a senator he participated in the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio and was a delegate to other major climate conferences, including those in Kyoto in 1997 and The Hague in 2000.

His frustration with those who challenge climate change dogma was again evident in the speech:

–“Now folks, we literally do not have the time to waste debating whether we can say ‘climate change.’ We have to talk about how we solve climate change. Because no matter how much people want to bury their heads in the sand, it will not alter the fact that 97 percent of peer-reviewed climate studies confirm that climate change is happening and that human activity is largely responsible.”

–“Future generations will judge our effort not just as a policy failure but as a collective moral failure of historic consequence. And they will want to know how world leaders could possibly have been so blind or so ignorant or so ideological or so dysfunctional and, frankly, so stubborn that we failed to act on knowledge that was confirmed by so many scientists, in so many studies, over such a long period of time, and documented by so much evidence.”

As he explained his views on climate change, Kerry later in his speech said he did not “mean to sound haughty.”

“Last year was the warmest of all. And I think if you stop and think about it, it seems that almost every next year becomes one of the hottest on record. And with added heat comes an altered environment,” he said.

“It’s not particularly complicated – I don’t mean to sound haughty, but think about it for a minute.”

Elsewhere in the speech Kerry reprised themes he has visited repeatedly in speeches as secretary of state and in the Senate, such as the view that climate change is at least as serious as other major current global threats.

“Terrorism, extremism, epidemics, poverty, nuclear proliferation, all challenges that respect no borders – climate change belongs on that very same list,” he said. “It is, indeed, one of the biggest threats facing our planet today.”

Kerry also repeated his argument that if climate change advocates are wrong, the world will still benefit from their efforts – in the creation of jobs, economic growth, better health and greater security – whereas if skeptics are wrong, the result will be “catastrophe.”

“What will happen if we do nothing and the climate skeptics are wrong and the delayers are wrong and the people who calculate cost without taking everything into account are wrong?” he asked.

“The answer to that is pretty straightforward: utter catastrophe, life as we know it on Earth.”

About sums up HIS position, I would say. WHAT is it about his CHIN?????

Wow. and THIS guy is supposed to be the BRAINS behind the State Department ? No wonder we are so SCREWED.

Seems like every time this fool opens his yap, his total ignorance comes screaming through. OK, on to part two, this is from William F. Jasper at The New

John Kerry Preaches on “Immorality” of Doubting “Climate Change”

Written by

HERE is something Teresa doesn’t know about. No wonder Kerry is a Goron. By injection.

Donning the robes of High Priest of Science, Secretary of State John Kerry delivered a rousing sermon on March 12 that presumed to speak for both Science and Religion on the supposed existential threat of anthropogenic (manmade) global warming, AGW. Warning that we face “utter catastrophe” and the end of “life as we know it on Earth” if we “do nothing” to stop global warming, Kerry said failing to act “is beyond reckless. It is just plain immoral.”

Secretary Kerry delivered his AGW jeremiad before the Atlantic Council, as part of the globalist organization’s “The Road to Paris” Climate Series, which is aimed at stirring support for the upcoming United Nations Climate Summit in Paris, France.

The “Righteous Potentate Of Puerility”. John Effing Kerry. You KNOW the rest.

However, before putting on his preacher’s robe to condemn the unbelievers, Rev. Kerry first got into his scientist’s robe to establish with dogmatic certainty the inerrancy of the AGW gospel.:
“When an apple falls from a tree, it will drop toward the ground,” Kerry intoned with Newtonian gravitas. “We know that because of the basic laws of physics. Science tells us that gravity exists, and no one disputes that. Science also tells us that when the water temperature drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, it turns to ice. No one disputes that.”

Everyone must have known that a great leap of Al Gorian logic was about to be made. “So when science tells us that our climate is changing and humans beings are largely causing that change,” Kerry continued, “by what right do people stand up and just say, ‘Well, I dispute that’ or ‘I deny that elementary truth?’ And yet, there are those who do so.”

Indeed there are such people, Mr. Reverend Secretary. People such as Prof. Richard Lindzen of MIT, who, during the previous week, had published an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal challenging the ongoing climate change hysteria that truly threatens our liberty, our energy availability, our prosperity, and our security. Unlike Secretary Kerry, Al Gore, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Rajendra Pachauri, Dr. Lindzen is a real scientist of world class renown. In his recent Journal piece, he wrote:

World leaders proclaim that climate change is our greatest problem, demonizing carbon dioxide. Yet atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide have been vastly higher through most of Earth’s history. Climates both warmer and colder than the present have coexisted with these higher levels.

Currently elevated levels of carbon dioxide have contributed to increases in agricultural productivity. Indeed, climatologists before the recent global warming hysteria referred to warm periods as “climate optima.” Yet world leaders are embarking on costly policies that have no capacity to replace fossil fuels but enrich crony capitalists at public expense, increasing costs for all, and restricting access to energy to the world’s poorest populations that still lack access to electricity’s immense benefits.

“Billions of dollars have been poured into studies supporting climate alarm, and trillions of dollars have been involved in overthrowing the energy economy,” notes Dr. Lindzen. “So it is unsurprising that great efforts have been made to ramp up hysteria, even as the case for climate alarm is disintegrating.”

Last year a U.S. Senate committee study entitled “The Chain of Environmental Command: How a Club of Billionaires and Their Foundations Control the Environmental Movement and Obama’s EPA,” showed that the radical Heinz Family Foundation, largely controlled by John Kerry’s wife Teresa Heinz Kerry, is one of the major funders of the AGW alarmist movement.

Phony 97 Percent “Consensus” — Again

In his Atlantic Council address, Kerry said that “no matter how much people want to bury their heads in the sand, it will not alter the fact that 97 percent of peer-reviewed climate studies confirm that climate change is happening and that human activity is largely responsible.” “It is rare, rare, rare — I can tell you after 28 years-plus in the Senate — to get a super majority of studies to agree on anything,” he continued. “But 97 percent, over 20-plus years — that’s a dramatic statement of fact that no one of good conscience has a right to ignore.”

People of good conscience would have a right to ignore that alleged “statement of fact,” Mr. Secretary, even if it were true. That’s an indispensible right guaranteed here in America by the First Amendment of the Constitution you’ve sworn to uphold. In fact, people of good conscience have both a right and a duty to expose and oppose the false AGW claims that are being used to enact laws and policies that strip us of our rights to engage in all those activities necessary to being a free and independent people. They have a right and duty to challenge your use of the discredited, fabricated consensus nonsense of John Cook and Naomi Oreskes, which we have repeatedly exposed (see, for instance, here, here, here, and here.

It is the continued, obstinate use of the phony consensus meme by you and your AGW allies, Secretary Kerry, to intimidate and vilify all opposition, along with your attempts to use the fear generated by AGW alarmism to establish a tyrannical global climate regime that is truly immoral.

There is not a lot of commentary from me needed. Kerry has ONCE AGAIN opened mouth, and drove in a Mack truck. Mr. Jasper’s closing paragraphs summed it up as well as I have seen it summed up. Kudos to him for pointing out the obvious.

A big hat-tip to Hardnox.

CLYDE. The ONLY thing Kerry has managed to do well is marry RICH WIDOWS.

Asshat Kerry: “–Now folks, we literally do not have the time to waste debating whether we can say ‘climate change.’ We have to talk about how we solve climate change.”

    “SOLVE” climate change?

The Earth’s 4.5 billion years old, and the climate’s been changing for every single minute of that 4.5 billion years, and will continue to do so until the end of time. How do they plan to “solve” that?

The climate is a dynamic system, which means it’s in a constant state of change BY DEFINITION. The only static planetary climates are on dead planetary bodies with NO climate at all. Think the Moon.

This is like saying that you can stop the tide coming in at the beach with your sand bucket and toy shovel. It’s stupid beyond description, and DENIES the reality of actual science.

Meaning: who are the REAL “science deniers” here?

  4. Kathy says:

Gravity is a proven scientific fact whereas this particular consensus is a bunch of lefty loons who agree because the pay is great.

It just doesn’t get much more hypocritical and stupid for this person to be stuffing climate change down our throats on the one hand, while his other hand is giving Iran nuclear weapons capabilities.

  5. Clyde says:

EXACTLY right, Brian. Asshats NEVER make mention of THAT, and the sheeple are too much in a daze to know it. Thanks, pard. Take a bow.

  6. Clyde says:

No question about it, Kathy. I would be MUCH more concerned about mullahs with multiple warheads than something NOTHING can be done about anyway. Thanks.

  7. upaces88 says:

Global Warming Lie-$22 Billion Per Year
The motive: $22 billion per year.

To be clear . . . that’s $22 billion of taxpayers’ money . . . the amount that our government pays to stop the “global warming” epidemic.

That comes out to $41,856 every minute.

Or, to put it in perspective, that is twice as much as what our government spends on securing our borders.

Then, imagine this top U.S. intelligence agent turning to you, and asking for you to join him on a mission to out those involved in the “global warming” lie.

  8. Hardnox says:

Notice the phrase “97 percent of peer-reviewed climate studies”. He didn’t bother to mention that 1400+ studies were submitted and only about 40 were cherry picked.

I wonder what precipitated the use of that phrase? For the longest time we have heard “97% of all climate scientists… which was in reality 97% of 3% that believed the bullshit. Now this meme. Hummm.
