Michelle on Struggling: “We Still Do”

From Huff Post (Black Voices):

The Queen's Seal Of Approval

You know, like many of you, when I wake up in the morning the first thing I ask myself is – How can I make Michelle’s life better? What can I do to make her miserable life worth living?

Actually I couldn’t care less about her or her so called ‘struggle’, to tell you the truth. The bottom line is that she is a filthy rich woman that takes tons of lavish vacations, eats the finest food, wears designer clothes, so for God’s sake, Michelle, just SHUT UP!

1st date 8But never being one to keep her pie-hole shut, we are subjected to her constant complaining.

Recently she held a photo-op at the White House for a group of students spoke at a Black History Month panel discussion where she gave another useless speech on education and talked about how the Os have struggled and are still struggling. Really? Even these ladies had to be laughing on the inside at that remark.

In the midst of her speech (click for the video, if you have the stomach) which lacked any real substance, the First Lady tried to be relatable by saying she too has struggled.

“And then when you’re struggling, right? That’s all we talk about is struggling, right? When you are (she nearly choked on the word) struggling, because you will. All of us do. We still do,” she said with a chuckle.

Wow, who knew Michelle had so many struggles. Not only has she struggled in the past, but she still struggles today.

Somewhere along the line she met this guy who didn’t have a real job, but married him anyway. Later, despite his complete lack of credentials he was elected President of the United States, not just once, but twice. Today, when she’s not busy telling the school kids what to eat, she spends her time jetting around the world on expensive vacations, all taken on our dime.

I’m not quite sure Michelle understands what it really means to struggle. It’s the opposite of having everything fall in your lap or work out in your favor. It’s having to take a low-paying job because you can’t afford to go to college, not Ivy League degrees and White House parties. It’s having to decide if you want food or electricity because you can’t afford both, but it is not picking which designer clothes to wear on your European vacation.

Maybe the FLOTUS was referring to that harrowing brush with racism she had at a Target store when someone asked her for help. Perhaps she meant she struggled to keep time while slow dancing with Big Bird. Looking at her life, I can’t find anything that could even be considered a minor set back.

So what advice did Michelle give to the students after complaining of her struggles? She told them to basically shut up and go to whatever crappy school they have available because it’s better than nothing. “Go to the bad school that you have,” she said.

While not quite as bad as Hitlery’s claim that they were dead broke when they left the White House, Michelle’s vague “struggles” smacks of democrat elitism. She’s also giving off that condescending Marie Antoinette “let them eat cake” air. Much like her husband, Michelle is completely out of touch with reality and the problems the average people face. In short, the Os are the king & queen of entitlements.

Rant over.

Hillary left the White House, “Dead broke,” so Michell has to one up on her by “Struggling” before her ’16 eviction notice.

The O’s still struggle because they can’t figure out how to squeeze in just one more vacation, golf game, safari, intimate dinner for 200 of their closest friends. It’s really a shame and you people should feel sorry for their struggle. Open your hearts and your checkbooks, help them out a bit to get in just a few more obligatory executive orders before 2016.

brb – I think my eyes are bleeding.

As well they should be, Rad, after that little statement, lol. I think you’re absolutely right on what their actual struggles are, and that is the perks. They love the perks – but the job? Not so much.

I’d like to see her and BO struggling in handcuffs.

Excellent rant, Kathy. Take a bow. As to Moochie and her “struggles”, I’m reminded of a quip I heard years ago on the Howard Stern radio program. (yes, I have listened to Stern, and actually enjoyed him) It went something like this : ” N- – – -R, PLEASE in a mocking tone.

Looks to me like she has the classic lib orating shuffle down pat. Good one Kathy. She gets no sympathy here….

Hard to remember what grace and good manners was like…

This whole thing reminds me of this poor little forlorn feline:

Great piece. Very sad for the English language and all, but apparently her definition of struggling is way the opposite of the rest of America’s.

She and Hillary are reading from the same script. What’s next? –“we were broke when we left the White House”? Most families could live for a lifetime, very comfortably, off just one of her vacay budgets. If that is struggling…..

    • Kathy says:

Yeah, Bullright, these guys have given new meanings to a lot of words that used to be benign. I could live a long long time on one of their vacay budgets.

    Way to rant, Kathy!

One thing’s for sure – Barack and Michelle deserve each other. Maybe some day they can enjoy the same cell.
