Quote Of The Day — February 20, 2015

There are significant differences between the American and European version of capitalism. The American traditionally emphasizes the need for limited government, light regulations, low taxes and maximum labour-market flexibility. Its success has been shown above all in the ability to create new jobs, in which it is consistently more successful than Europe.”

    True that…

However, the left in this country want us to be more like the euro-weenies because in their view we are such uncultured neanderthals despite every evidence that our model has worked better.

The left is slowly getting their wish as this administration is choking the life out of our small business sector with ever increasing regulations and other burdens… all in the foolish pursuit of their non-existent utopian bullshit kumbaya dreams.

I would really like to have the time-line when she made this comment. Since the mid 1960’s, the libs have systematically destroyed the base of American prosperity.

We may not have the glitz and the glamour of Great Britain, but we’re not as stodgy in our relationships, either. We are, STILL, a “Let’s roll up the sleeves and get ‘er done~!” culture. To hell with the administration~!

  2. Clyde says:

Good one, GF. Mrs. Thatcher, once AGAIN showing WHAT leadership is.

    • Grouchy says:

The Brits had to kick us in the butts, but then we led the way. But you’re right, Clyde. The Iron Lady knew what she was about!~! She had more TRUE Intelligence and courage in her little finger than the entire current administration, combined~!
